Ride of terror

Munro reached the top of the hill, there was a tuck shop, the shop had been abandoned a long time ago. The sign read Jurassic Park Ride of Terror.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean" said Munro. Murphy reached the side of Munro, "do you want to go back". "I didn't say that". The two men stood together not deciding what to do.
Petersburg pushed between the two men, "Were not going back" he said. Michelle concerned touched Murphy's shoulder, "Honey what should we do".
Behind them the T-Rex roared, Shepherd looking back went up to door and slammed it open.
Walking down the hall, Shepherd held his gun close to his chest, it was pitch black, his touchlight was fading.
Shepherd looked down his shoelace was undone, he signalled the others to stop and bent down and did his shoelace up.
Ahead in the darkness there was a bang. Shepherd jumped up, put the beam of his torchlight infront of him, Shepherd jumped back it was a massive Pteradon standing in the middle of the hall. Murphy annoyed grabbed the torchlight and widened the beam to show it was only a model.
"Do you mean that there is one of them on this island" said Munro. "No no, the InGen lists shows no Pterdons, I know Hammond he had planned to introduce them latter". "Ok" said Munro.
Coming to the end of the hall they found a door, Shepherd opened it ahead lay a cable cart part of a monorail ride. Munro saw a console infront of him, he pressed a green button and the console started to hum and lights came on in the cable carts. "Well I be dammed" said Munro.
The group started to pour into two cable carts. Murphy, Michelle and Amanda went in the first and Munro, Shepherd and Petersburg went into the second. Shepherd got back out and pushed down a lever the ride started, Shepherd got back in.
The cable carts travelled across fantastic heights, miles beneath them they could see a river. It was about 200 yards to the other side. Munro starting to enjoy himself started to hum a tune to himself when a voice started to come on, the speaker system. "The flying dinosaurs would attack from high". Everybody jumped from the suddeness of the annoucement.
"If there was dinosaurs like this you would know about it right" said Munro to Shepherd.
"Well who else would feed them".
In the first cart Murphy held Michelle tight to him, Amanda was starring out the other side of the cart. "Honey everything is going to be allright, will make it, we got plenty of time" said Murphy. Amanda looked in amazement at the dropfall beneath her feet, the floor was see through. Murphy held Michelle tight and kissed her, in the corner of his eye, he saw a nest with massive eggs in it. "What's the matter honey" said Michelle. Murphy pulled away and started waving his arms at the second cable cart.
"What the hell is he doing" said Petersburg. "I haven't a clue, but I don't like it" replied Munro. Munro reached down and withdrew his sawn-off shotgun. Shepherd turned around out of the darkness gliding towards the cart he was standing in, he thought it was a bat out of hell. "Oh Munro we've got trouble" said the wide eyed Shepherd. "Jesus Christ" yelled Munro.
Murphy looked at the second cart, he saw the Pteradon smash into the cart, then there was a second dinosaur aswell gliding around the cart. The dinosaur didn't attack the first cart, Murphy slowly reached up and turned off the cable cart light.
The Pterdon smashed into the cart, shaking it, then it broke the glass with it mighty beak. "Shoot it, shoot it" yelled Petersburg to Munro. Munro was in shock he looked up and got ready to take aim. The Pterdon with its head in the cart took Shepherd in its mighty beak, and dragged him out of the cart. "Help me, help me" screamed Shepherd. Before Munro couldn't do anything, Shepherd was sweeped off into the distance, yelling then his yells came to a sudden staff. Petersburg looked up at Munro, a second Ptetradon hit the cart trying to drag Petersburg out, Munro lifted up his gun and fired at the Pteradon massive head, it fell backwards, Munro didn't think he killed it. Petersburg's face was covered in blood "Thankyou" said a little voice. Then the booming voice on the speaker system said, "Make no mistake, the Pteradon was a deadly predator". Both men looked up at the speaker.
Murphy looked helplessly on, the dinosaurs seemed to have gone, everything was quiet again.
The two carts reached the other side, there was another door to a complex on the other side. Murphy rushed to the second cable cart. "I didn't know, I didn't know" said Murphy. "They got Shepherd" said Petersburg. Murphy noticing the blood on Munro face said "Munro are you allright". "I'm fine why wouldn't I be, I always wanted to go on one of this things" he replied.
The smaller group of five went through the door.
