Episode 8 “Tag Me Not”
Dino-Zone
The expected blast of red and blue fireworks fills the crisp air with a smoke smell and bright delights. The roar of the crowd lasts long until the first theme song begins. SGD & Seymour walk onto the stage. Surprisingly cheered as they make their way to and into the ring. SGD grabs the black microphone from the formal clothed announcer.
“Ozma and Mr. Chaos! You think you will come down here and win a chance at those Tag Title belts? No! We will destroy you in this ring! You will be run down by our Power Trip. Come on down!” SGD stands facing the titan tron saying.
Ozma and Mr. Chaos sneak attack from behind. Ref Boodle Doodle signals the Match beginning.
“I am hoping that Seymour & SGD get the win! Mr. Chaos is a loser and is Ozma.” Sean comments
Ozma spins in the air and kicks Seymour across the chest. Spin Kick. Running to each ropes once, Ozma jumps at Seymour with a standing Senton bomb. SGD takes a step into the ring and is quickly confronted by the ref. Seymour takes that chance to smack Omza with a Brass Knuckled fist. Falling back, Ozma lies unconscious. SGD turns the ref around. Fortunately for Ozma and Mr. Chaos, Mr. Chaos kicks Seymour in the back before a count can begin. Mr. Chaos is sent back to the ring rim.
“Good save.” Sean reluctantly good comments about Mr. Chaos
Seymour walks Ozma to his corner and tags in SGD. Seymour holds back Ozma as SGD ascends to the second rope. He jumps down and punches Seymour in the face due to a quick dive from Ozma. Seymour falls through the second rope and onto the outer matting. SGD holds onto the top rope and kicks at Ozma until he too falls out of the ring. Mr. Chaos gets his chance to sneak an attack but follows the ref’s rules. Tired, Beaten a bit, and bruised Ozma slowly slides back into the ring. SGD pulls him up by the short hair.
Lifting up Ozma for a press slam, SGD drops him neck to the top of the rope. Ozma falls back hard.
“Get up whimp!” SGD kicks Ozma
Ozma trips SGD and twists in an ankle lock. SGD moves onto his back and kicks away Ozma, but Ozma gets kicked closer to his corner. The two begin crawling to their partner for a tag. The crowds cheer for Ozma.
“Oh shut up! No one can defeat the Power Trip!” Sean comments against the fans.
Ozma rushes to Mr. Chaos for Seymour got the tag in. Mr. Chaos tags Ozma and goes ballistic, punching down Seymour and then punching down the running SGD. Scoop Slamming Seymour Mr. Chaos slams him on top of SGD and runs to the ropes. The rubber ropes bend as he runs to the other ropes. Mr. Chaos moon saults onto both men. The fans go wild with camera flashes and signs. A moment of glory gets corrupted during Mr. Chaos’s fan cheering. Seymour reverse suplexes him back to the middle of the ring and twists into the Mage Masher. Also known as the Figure Four Leg Lock. Ozma runs into the ring only to be kicked in the face by a pissed off SGD. SGD throws him over the top rope and jumps over it onto him as well. The two fight outside of the ring. Ref Boodle Doodle talking with Mr. Chaos on if he gives up.
Mr. Chaos trying hard to roll onto his back and gain control of the submission hold, each time failing. Seymour applies harsher twist in the move, which makes Mr. Chaos’s escape harder.
“Tap out damn you!!!” Sean gripes at Mr. Chaos
Mr. Chaos taps out and the match is over. Seymour releases the hold and insults Mr. Chaos before walking away with SGD.
“Yes!” Sean comments “While these two slugs leave the ring arena, I’d like to thank Bret Hart for commentating with me for them last two matches instead of Andy Dick. Up next we have Rancor and Thade in a rematch for the hardcore championship title.” Sean stalls time
“Saturday was a good fight. Today will be better because this time I will walk out with that title belt.” Thade walks up to Rancor backstage.
“We’ll see!” Rancor watches Thade walk off.
Titan tron view switches to Thade’s theme video.
“These two are very good with hardcore rules and LOTR didn’t have to prove it. Tonight should be just as good of a match!” Sean comments as Thade walks down to the ring. “Thade getting into the ring now… Just made that remark to Rancor as you all seen… Could Thade change the outcome of who walks away winner? I guess we will see right now! Here comes Rancor” Sean blabs until Rancor walks onto the stage.
Titan tron still cracked shows Rancor’s video theme. Rancor walking down to the ring yells a comment to Thade. Thade yells him to get in. Rancor rushes into the ring and spears Thade.
“The match begins!!!” Sean blurts
Rancor steps back out of the ring and reaches under the ring siding. Pulling out a barbed 2by4, Rancor slides back in. Grasping the 2by4, before impact Thade pushes back Rancor and pulls away the lethal weapon for his own use. And use it he does as Thade whacks Rancor in the back with the barb wired end of the wood. Rancor falls to the middle of the ring face down. Thade tosses the 2by4 out of the ring and pins Rancor. No three count.
“Pow!!!” Sean yells
Thade lifts up Rancor, punches him a bit and does a Karate kick to his ribs. Rancor falls down on his left side. Thade taunts the crowd. Booed is the only given reply.
“Give it to Thade. He is kicking ass right now.” Sean again goes against the crowd.
Rancor slowly regains his sense of standing. Un-noticing of the reason for the cheers, Thade carries on his lame taunts as if he is being liked. Rancor dropkicks Thade right over the rope and onto the barbed 2by4. The fans scream for joy. Rancor falls down. The ref can only wait. Running down to the ring, an eager Vito Hardy helps up Thade and aggressively pushes him back into the ring for Rancor to finish him off or beat him some more.
“What the… Vito!!!???” Sean watches a reply of what he missed during the 12 seconds of waiting.
Rancor glares at Vito and then pins Thade, as well not getting the full three count pin. Rancor walks over the face of Thade with slight disrespect. Sliding out of the ring, Rancor again reaches under for another weapon. This time he pulls out a heavy 10ft ladder. He looks at the fans as the go wild with chants “LADDER”. Rancor slides the ladder in and gets in after the ladder. Rancor ignores Thade so he can set up
The ladder for a high flying maneuver or smashing impact. Setting up the ladder, Rancor unknowingly gives time for Thade to stand back up. Thade pushes Rancor into the right corner Sean side. Thade begins to climb the 15-step ladder. Reaching step 10, Thade jumps at the corner but doesn’t hit Rancor, instead gets a harsh impact with the turnbuckle. The crowd ooh. Rancor jumps up like the old Shawn Michaels and starts to climb the 10ft ladder. Rancor trips his leg through the 7th step and falls down on his stomach. Again, both wrestlers knocked down good and not a thing the ref can do. The fans cheer for Rancor, and yet some for Thade. The exhaustion and pain of both men as if been thrown in hell for 4 weeks of torture capsulated into 30 minutes and still growing. Blood dripping from the forehead of Thade and the arm of his. Nothing, but the urge to come out victorious, surging through both minds.
“Wow…” Sean sits flabbergasted
Rancor makes the first move towards the ladder… In the middle of the ring sealing his victorious end to the match. He begins to climb yet again, reaching his victory point. Taking a deep breath… Rancor looks down at the fallen Thade and gets ready to jump. He jumps up in the air with a sudden flash of cameras. Rancor lifts into the air with a flying elbow drop. The impact echoes throughout the arena. Vito watches as Rancor lands on top of Thade. Rancor lies almost motionless. Though on top of the as well almost motionless Thade Rancor gets an unexpected help.
“That’s a pin you moron!!!” Vito yells at the Ref.
Referee Doogle Doggle palms the ring canvas loud and clear for the first, second and third count. A few medics come down to ringside to escort both men. Rancor and Thade refuse help. After a minute of standing again, Thade turns Rancor halfway up the ramp. They shake hands in good sportsmanship as the match was intended to be.
“This was better than watching the movie Gods & Generals. It’s like we just watched two gods & generals fight! Rancor remains hardcore champion. Well… Up next is Jerm versus PunkNerd.” Sean, a flabbergasted Sean, comments after a good match.
Jerm walks onto the stage, drum rhythm theme playing as he walks down to the ring. After Jerm’s entrance, comes out PunkNerd. He walks to the ring with full cheer. Stepping into the ring, PunkNerd gets attacked by Jerm. Jerm shoulder tosses PunkNerd 3 feet across the ring and runs to him for a knee drop. Immediately, PunkNerd knocks down Jerm and places him into his special. The cross face chicken wing. Being a slight newbie… Jerm gives in to the pain and taps out. PunkNerd doesn’t release the hold. Seth Rex runs down to Jerm’s aid and kicks PunkNerd off. Seth punches PN right under the top rope and hard onto the matting. Fans cheer as Seth helps Jerm up.
“We’ll see you soon PunkNerd!” Seth yells to PN as he steps out of the ring.
“What a good night tonight was. I’m un-worded. Well see you Wednesday for Trespasser everyone. Again, thanks to Bret Hart for a good time at LOTR. Good night!” Sean closes the show.
