Chaos Effect (Chapter 6) By DieHard485
It was raining outside when Ian Malcolm, Sarah Harding, Nick Van Owen, Richard Levine, and Doc Thorne entered their cargo plane. Their equipment was in the hold below them. Their two jeeps, their GPS systems, and their weapons. They all had their own satellite phones and walkie-talkies with them, each in their respective bags. Nick's carry-on luggage included video and audio equipment. Everyone else just had their own small bags.
Roland Tembo, Lewis Dodgson, and a few other BioSyn employees were in a commercial jet with their equipment being shipped to Costa Rica separately. They had their own jeep, and their own weapons.
Several hours later, the two groups met at the Costa Rican airport, just as planned. Malcolm was upset to see Dodgson, he had never met him, but he knew what he had tried to do, and he knew it was his fault that the dinosaurs got out in the first place. He had hired Denis Nedry, head programmer of the Jurassic Park computer systems, to steal embryos of dinosaurs, which required that the power be shut off.
Malcolm introduced himself to everyone, as well as the rest of his party. They had scheduled to be taken by 3 separated helicopters to Isla Nublar. All together their party count was 10. Malcolm, Sarah, Nick, Richard, Doc, Roland, Dodgson, and 3 unknown employees who made no show of caring who the hell anyone was. Ian and Roland immediately struck up conversation, talking about what they were to do, and talking about mistakes they had made last time they were on an island together. They both agreed having Kelly along was the biggest mistake of them all.
The helicopters took off, each carrying a large crate containing a jeep and various other sorts of equipment, no-one but Roland and Dodgson knew what the hell was brought by BioSyn. Nobody cared either, Malcolm was too aprehensive about another trip. Nick noticed and tried to talk to him to calm his nerves. Dodgson and Roland sat in the back talking rapidly, but quietly enough so no-one else could hear.
Malcolm looked out the window and saw the island. Everyone in his chopper looked out, Malcolm, Nick, Roland and Dodgson, but Malcolm had no idea who was in the other helicopters, the combinations were endless. He could figure them all out of course, but he had other things on his mind.
Isla Nublar began to rise on the horizon, the sun setting beyond it. It cast bright colors upon the water and the clouds. The clouds were shinging and reflecting various shades of orange, some so bright Malcolm had to sheild his eyes.
In no time, they were hovering above the island, waiting for the crates to be lowered down. The sky began to turn pinkish as the sun sank lower behind the mountains.
