Prolouge: Nightmare
The dense tree cover cast erie shapes upon the forest floor. Moments ago the sound of thunder pierced through the ominous sky in a clash of sound only God himself could tolerate. Siting in the safety of the explorer Dr. Grant peered into the padock. He almost felt bad for John, losing power and two no-show's. It was quite apparent that this "Park" could not function properly, yet Grant knew only time would truely tell.
At this point a loud rumble of thunder contridicted the sound of the fence slowly tilting inward. Then another flash of lightning Dr. Grant watched in disbelief as the exporer in front of his was mangled by the vicous prehistoric animal that stood but yards in front of him. His awe turned to fear and then as if the world turned upside, Dr. Grant woke up.
It was nothing new. These nightmares had been going on ever sense he got of Isla Sorna. Yeah, it was safe to say that Grant had more then once came into a close call with John Hammonds pets.
He stood out of bed and walked to the masterbath off of his bedroom. The light flickered on. He looked at himself in the mirror, had he really aged that much? The faint noise of a car whizzing by his Utah home gave him reason enough to look out his window.
Just then he heard a shatter of glass from his first floor. He moved swiftly, and even in the cover of only an old pair of pajama bottoms he still had a feirce look in his eye. He moved to the side of his bed and reached for his pistol lying on the bottom shelf of his night stand.
All in a matter of seconds Grants stealthy moving backfired as men with machine guns entered, and made a perimeter around his room. A tall distinguished man steped forward through the doorway.
"Hello Dr. Grant."
"Welcome to my home"
Grants sarcasm only made the situation more tense.
Reading form a piece of paper the man walked forward.
"A certain, Jose Lemeeur, has requested an audience with you"
Grant could tell by the men with guns that he would have no choice but to accept.
After Grant got dressed the man lead him into an armored vehical.
"Sorry about the intrution, but Dr. Lemeeur told us we my have more trouble getting you to cooperate."
"What the hell is going on hear?"
Grant looked tired yet alert as the man began to tell him what was going on.
"Well if you haven't already guessed this has to do with your afliations with Mr. Hammond. Their's been an accident with Ingen's liability."
Grant new that he didn't want to go where he was heading. He looked around him, and thought about Elie.
"Like I was saying apparently when the park was being built some of the animals got onto the Costa Rican main land. Well of course they were taking care of but over the last year the locals have been reporting prehistoric animals being seen in the jungle. Now this issue was supposed be closed when Ingen sent a team out to 'dispose' of them, but now more people are sespecting that someone is over on the Islands using the facility's."
"And let me guess you need me to be your guide?"
"No sir, your being called for on the Island. Apparently the remnaits of some old realationships has come about."
"What are you saying?"
"Biosyn has Elie. But. The they just want you to help them with something."
"And what would that be?"
