Dark Force Destructor: chapter 6 By Dac
Chapter 6
Icebreaker has learned the details of his horrible past: He is a Marjinner named Torbie, sent to scout the outlying websites, but he was stuck in a compactor as a baby, and lost his memory. Ironically, this information came from his brother, Esplinter, who is disgusted at his brother. Now, it is Icebreaker/Torbie against his older brother, Esplinter, in a mighty showdown. Can Ice overcome his powerful sibling?

"It's high time you returned to us, Torbie," sneered Esplinter. "Our geneticist, Agent Matrix, will bring your memory back with his elbrid fluid, and I daresay Sergeant Tapcar will want to question you. The DFD, his right-hand man, Major Sharkey, and his left-hand man, Captain Dac, might talk to you as well. You are needed, kid." "I'm not needed by you!" spat Ice. "My name is Icebreaker, not Torbie! I hate the Marjinners and everything they have done! SeanArcher, raptor00 and Caster Troy would not have wanted me to join you. From what I heard, they died defending Dan's!" "Wrong. They were killed, begging for mercy, but we do not show mercy. Anyway, Agent Matrix is resurrecting them as we speak! They will be immortal, and they will work for us!" "What?!!" "Hehehe. Looks like they died in vain. And so will your friends you have with you!" The corporal raised his hand and opened his palm. "MARSENKO!" he roared, and a huge yellow beam flew out, straight at Vader, Grinch and Seth! Quickly, they dived out of the way, and the beam exploded on the wall behind them. When the smoke cleared, they saw the wall had disappeared. He raised both hands this time, when something wrapped around his neck. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" howled Ice, and tightened his grip. Esplinter grabbed at Ice's arm as his face went red. Then blue. Then purple. Just as it was going black, he kicked Ice, and fell to the ground, wheezing for breath. Ice slammed against Esplinter's pod. He suddenly felt a burst of energy, and he raised both hands, palms open, in front of him. He suddenly levitated, and flew eight feet above the ground. A huge yellow glowing ball appeared in his hands. "FINAL FLASH!" he bellowed, and a huge beam shot out of the ball, point blank at his choking brother. The building exploded, and Vader, Grinch and Seth flew out and landed ten meters away. The smoke cleared, and they saw Ice, still hovering, panting slightly, staring at the ton of concrete he had just covered his brother with. Slowly, a hand, with a torn, white, rubber glove on it, grabbed a rock and shoved it away. Ice clenched his fists, and landed. Eventually, the battered form of Esplinter rose from the rubble. They all stared. His left arm had been torn completely away, and he was holding it with his other arm. His face was barely recognizable, covered in scars, slashes and dust. "You...you'll pay for that!" he gasped in rage. "Oh, really? You question me, you dung-dripper? Maybe you need another demonstration!" His friends encouraged him. "Kill him," said Vader softly. "Kill your brother to survive," murmured Evilgrinch. "So much for a family reunion," muttered Seth. The rage on Ice's face flickered a bit. For a minute, he was recognisable as the generous young man, with a pale face, and in that moment, he whispered, "Sorry, brother." Then he raised his hand and a beam shot out, right at Esplinter. They heard the corporal scream as the beam exploded, and then it was cut short. It all cleared, and they saw Ice, slumped to his knees. They walked over, and noticed what he was staring at. It was Esplinter's blood, all that was left of him. Esplinter was dead.

Far away, Major Sharkey watched as Corporal Beno-yo monitored the message screen. Suddenly, it started flashing and beeping. "Message from Esplinter!” Beno said. Sharkey stopped pacing. "Ah, good, he must've found Torbie!" It turned out not to be a message, but more of a surveillance image. It showed the battle of the brothers. Sharkey and Beno watched it all, and knew at once that their best corporal was dead, and no trace of him could be recovered. Rage bubbled over Sharkey's face. Then he noticed four figures, standing near the edge of the screen. "Identify those four!" he growled, and stormed away to break the news to Dac and the DFD.
