ALIEN 5: part 1

Space: The camera is looking into the black boundlessness of space, and the small
Specks of light that fills it. In this view also is a large space ship.
INT. SHIP:
Docking bay: A small ship lands in the bigger ships docking bay, It settles and the ships
Power cuts off. Suddenly a rectangular shape that seems to be outlined from the side of
The Ship, Right under the door comes out and makes a ladder. The door to the
Small ship then slides open and six, business, men step out one after the other. They
All walk on a thin platform over to a door leading to another room.
Hallway LV. 1:
The men all walk into the hallway and there is a man waiting for them. He then leads
Them to the other side of the hall to an elevator leading to the 4th floor. When they get
There the guide walks them over to another room labeled, meeting room. They all walk
In and there is a long table, which takes up the whole room. Everyone sits except one
Man with a brief case. He opens it and he passes the papers down along the other men
To a man who has been sitting there before anyone came in. Before the papers get to
Him the man named Kirk Eve land asks.
Kirk
Ok Stan what is this “important business” that you came all
Way out here to ask me.
Stan
(The man from before.)
Just read the papers, Then Ill tell you the rest.
The business, men all stare hopefully as Kirk takes a minute reading the papers. He
Then drops it.
Kirk
Ok, so what’s this, A file about a prize weapon your company
Didn’t get.
Stan
No, The “prize weapon” mentioned on those papers could
Be the greatest investment you and your company have ever,
Dealt. This weapon is the perfect biological, scratch that, the
Greatest weapon ever discovered in the history of all weapons
Ever thought of. If you know what is good for you, you will

Kirk
What are you talking about?
Stan
Ok listen, hundreds of years ago my company, way land, was
Suffering from severe financial problems and we needed a
Way out. Soon we found an investment we knew would be successful.
A unique alien life form, the perfect predator and we knew that if we
Could get a specimen alive we would make billions off of the creature.
But every time we got close a uh…nuisance would always get in our way.
Finally she destroyed the whole race and herself in the process. But a few
Years Ago the U.S military and a group of scientists cloned her and the
Creature. But the whole project went array and the whole base was destroyed
And RIPLEY escaped…But just a few days ago a deep salvage team found a
An emergency escape pod floating way far in space. It was from the U SS URIGA.
Somehow the auto pilot drive that was supposed escort it safely to earth
Malfunctioned and it just floated away. But do you know what made its way
Onto the vessel? When the salvage team found it, inside was a half decayed
Alien and an egg that was in perfectly good condition. They gave it to our
Company so that we could study it. Now we finally have what we have been
Seeking all our lives.
Kirk
So where do we come in, in all of this?
Stan
Well, I need you to supply the facility. We’ve been broke for quite some time
Now, We just need a little financial help. Listen if you do accept we’re
Moving the work to earth then after our studies we’ll sell it to the bio weapons
Division with the highest bid. Listen don’t worry about all of our mistakes,
This time we will not fail. Ellen RIPLEY will not find out of this, and if she
Does she will just have to die.
CUT TO:
EARTH 3 years later
It’s a court, room. Futuristic in every way, for instance the judges podium is
Floating in the air and the room is chrome.
Judge
Would you like to call up any
one else.
The defendants, lawyer stands and nods.
Lawyer
Uh yes your honor, we would like to call Ms. Ellen RIPLEY.
Judge
Ah, Ms. Defendant herself.
The legend Ellen herself stands and walks over to a podium by the judges.
Then a man walks over to her.
Lawyer
Ok RIPLEY where should we start, oh yes. We’ll start with
The deaths of over 46 men and women that were taken when you
Crashed, excuse me judge, you allegedly crashed the ship URIGA. Not to
mention That this ship was at that time the most expensive ship ever made
for military operations. Then you go and tell a lie that’s not even a good one
And expect us to believe it. Judge look at all these people that want a
Vengeance for the death of their loved ones.
RIPLEY
Listen I’ve told you already I didn’t kill these people it was…
Lawyer
Yes we all know these stories. An alien with acid for blood, one that
Lives in a hive and feeds on any other living organism. Why do you
Keep telling us these lies?
Ripley
I knew it would be this way, all of you people crying over the loved
ones that died on that ship. Trying to prosecute me just because you want
vengeance. I’m not lying about what happened out there on that ship,
believe what you want to, but if you knew just exactly what I saved you
from you would all be bowing at my feet. This creature that I have
described to you all defies all fear, It thrives in darkness and cares for
nothing. Its evil goes beyond anything ever dreamed up in a nightmare
It’s total lack of morals adds to its unwillingness to give up in battle.
I understand that you all are grieving, But I’m innocent.
Lawyer
No further questions your honor.
Ripley gets up and walks back over to the defendants table. Then the judge
Stands up. One of the security guards yell, “ all rise.” Then the whole court
Room stands.
Judge
Ok we have all heard ms. Ripleys alleging and we’ve considered the
Possibilities and of course it is hard to believe. But although most of you
Want her dead we have no evidence at all saying that she blew this ship.
There is no proof to even say she was even on that ship. The only
Way we know that she was on it is because she admitted it to us. So I have come up with
My judgement…Ms. Ellen Ripley I pronounce you innocent.
FADE TO: A futuristic house:
Ripley walks through her hallway into her living room where there is pretty
much nothing but a couch and a recliner. She yells, “computer milk please,
oh and will you set up the entertainment system I’ve got to see the news.”
She sits on the couch and then suddenly a small place in the wall comes out
With a glass of milk on it and then a large flat tv and speakers kind of roll out
From the wall and then settles as if it all were attached to it from the
Beginning.
Reporter
As you can see I’m here at the courthouse where the Ripley
V. S the people case was just closed. The case that was opened
For the second time last month just ended. And Ripley won over
The people again. A case was filed against her Five years ago after the
U S Uriga was blown to bits during a classified military project was
Being Conducted. The case was reopened when authorities found
New uninvestigated evidence, though it was evidence proving that the
Ship was crashed it had nothing against Ripley. So now she walks free
once again.
Ripley yells, “ Entertainment system off.” Right before she takes a drink of
her milk. The system rolls back into the wall when a ring fills the house. She
looks over at her right arm rest and at a phone attached to it. She picks it up
and puts it to her right ear.
Ripley
Hello…oh hey Jim…Yeah It was pretty close, So are you gonna get
Me a job? … yeah but I…I understand ok bye.
She hangs up then sits on her couch alone thinking.
CUT TO: Back at the ship:
Shane is talking on a small phone and his expression is tense.
Kirk
Have you seen the news?
Shane who is in a limo hover car is on the other line.
Shane
Yeah, I have, Ripley won.
Kirk
Yeah and do you know that if she finds out about us the
Whole project will be shutdown.
Shane
Don’t worry about it, she won’t find out trust me.
Kirk
I can’t take that chance Shane, If you don’t find a way to keep
Her quiet I’m backing away from the whole thing. And I’m taking
Everything.
Shane
Ok I’ll keep her quiet. I’ll keep her quiet for good.
CUT TO:
Ellen is standing outside of her apartment window on a ledge that is 7 stories
High. Suddenly a Taxicab hovers onto the ledge and stops.
