Jurassic Park IV: Extinction (Finale)

Malcolm leaned against the bars of the cage. He was sweating heavily and knew they might die in this place.
"If they don't let us go, the volcano will kill us." Connors said, holding Jane.
"That way that coward won't have to do it himself." Roland said.
Gunshot was heard outside the door and Malcolm looked around the room and said, "Get ready to leave."
Within seconds Sarah Harding burst through the door and took her knife from her pocket and started to pick the lock. She opened Malcolm and Roland's first and Malcolm embraced her.
"You think I was gonna miss up a chance to be with you on THIS island?" Sarah said sarcastically.
Malcolm smiled and Roland patted Sarah on the back.
"Hello there??" Casey said, who was still locked up. Sarah and Roland then took Sarah's knives and opened the cages for Connors, Jane, Casey and Damon.
When they were about to leave Sarah said, "They're not exactly friendly, so watch you're back." Sarah said.
They all nodded in recognition and walked out the door; they ran down the long hallways and outside, onto the main road. They ran down the road, feet pounding on the cement.
Suddenly Chris jolted back and fell to the floor. Sarah turned to him and saw his shoulder bleeding, she looked up to the top of the building to her left and saw two snipers aiming for her, she helped Chris to his feet and started running. Bullets barely hit their heels as they ran down they road. Malcolm turned left into a one level building, the others followed.
When Roland burst through the door to the lab, two guards aimed their guns at his head. The others followed in and held their hands up, a few biologists had gathered watching them. Jane was the last to come out and one of the geneticists recognized her.
"They are cleared by Dodgson," Lee said, trying to sound confident.
The guards didn't believe him and were going to take them back to the main building, when two allosaurs burst through the glass dormer, on the side of the lab. Tubes with eggs and embryos shattered to the floor as the allosaurs knocked desks over to get to the frantic workers. Casey grabbed Jane's hand and started to run, they all soon reached the end of the hall and bolted out of the back door.
The group ran fast and as hard as they could to the huge hangar that lay before them, it's top was extended, allowing a huge hole at the top of the hangar. Roland was the first to enter; he saw Dodgson and two other guards getting the hot air balloon ready for takeoff.
"Hand me that." Dodgson said pointing to his guard's rifle. He then aimed the rifle towards Sarah and clicked the safety off. Roland saw him and turned, jumping towards her as the gun shot off. Roland fell to the ground in mid-air, and landed with a thud.
Sarah screamed and bent down and turned over Roland, he had been shot in the chest, probably fatal.
Malcolm ran towards Sarah, who was huddled over Roland's dying body. Shots rang through the air for the rest of the group, who ran behind cargo boxes.
Roland looked up into Malcolm and Sarah's eyes, "Get of this island, and end this bloody mess." Malcolm respectfully nodded and Sarah said, "No, No we can't leave him."
Roland looked at Malcolm, and Ian nodded. He pulled Sarah off Roland and forced her behind a box. The workers were running towards the boxes, to shoot Damon, Casey, Jane, and Chris.
"You damn fools, unhook me!" Dodgson said.
The guards must not of heard them because two loud roars echoed through the near-empty hangar. The allosaurs appeared in the opened side door and advanced on the guards who were without cover. Malcolm, Sarah, Casey, Jane, Damon, and Chris all ran for the Hot air balloon with Dodgson inside. Casey was first to the balloon but suddenly stopped when Dodgson pulled out a handgun. It pressed against Casey's forehead and she kept her stare at Dodgson's face.
"Take one more step, I dare you." Dodgson said, smiling.
Suddenly Damon jumped on the man and punched him in the face. Dodgson got up and aimed his handgun at Damon, who dodged a bullet and pummeled Dodgson off the basket of the balloon. He then helped Casey, Connors, Sarah, and Jane in. Malcolm cut the ropes, and grabbed on to the basket, the balloon slowly floated up towards the morning sky.
Dodgson climbed up the piping alongside the hangar and grabbed on to a rope tied to the rising balloon. The group noticed the weight shift, but thought it was themselves moving inside the basket.
The balloon soared through the air and Connors took the controls. He was skilled at picking up things, and he had ridden in a hot air balloon before, but he was still uneasy with controlling it. He led the balloon down the street of the compound, a little higher than the highest buildings, where the snipers were.
A shot rang through the air and it grazed Malcolm's cheek. Another tore a hole through the tiny basket.
A desperate Dodgson, who hang on for his life yelled at the men, " Stop you bastards!"
The snipers stopped shooting and Casey leaned over to see Dodgson hanging on the rope. She had a glimmer in her eye and stared at him struggling. The balloon was past the facility now, it was getting close to the mountain, where lava flowed freely down the side, they were getting too close to the black smoke and Connors headed for the plains.
Casey leaned towards Dodgson; "This is for my brother." She punched him in the face.
"This is for Roland" and she punched him again, followed by an uppercut from Malcolm.
Then Casey took Sarah's knife. She leaned right next to Dodgson's face and said, "This...is...for...my..father." She then in one strong, swift movement cut the rope. Dodgson screamed as he fell, down into the bubbling lava. Damon patted Casey on the back as she regained her balance in the balloon. Sarah was still crying over the loss of Roland. Jane saw the lava flow over the side of the basket, a huge floating rock was in the flow, and a velociraptor was on that rock, calling for help.
The balloon slowed down once it had gotten far enough away from the mountain. Then a cry from a flock of pteranodons was heard.
"Oh Shit" Damon said eyeing the flying beasts headed towards them. Then from behind the mountain a fleet of black helicopters came, circling the hot air balloon.
"That them Dr. Grant?" a pilot asked. Alan nodded as he waved to Ian aboard the balloon. The pteranodons backed down, except for two who were quickly shot down from the copters.
"Thanks Alan." Malcolm said, roaring over the sound of the copter blades.
The fleet came to a clearing and slowed, A huge Spinosaur was roaring at a juvenile T-Rex. The rex roared back as loud as it could, but it sounded like a joke compared to the humongous spinosaur. Then an adult female T-rex appeared in the clearing, positioning itself between the spino and the juvenile. The Spino roared at the Rex, who soon charged the spino, bashing it with its head. The spino bayed in annoyance. It then grabbed the rex's back with its jaws and sunk its teeth into the predator's flesh. The juvenile wanted to help his mother and grabbed a hold of the spino's tail, but the Spino kicked the smaller rex back, who soon whined in pain.
Alan watched the predators completely and utterly fascinated.
The Rex ducked and bite the spino's thigh. The spino let go of the Rex, and fell to the ground. It roared in agony. Then the adult put its foot on the spino as the juvenile approached. Then the spino quickly hobbled up. It limped over to the juvenile and pushed it away with its head. The mother Rex was outraged and grabbed a tight hold of the spino's neck and the spino hobbled around, trying to get the Rex off of itself. It soon fell over, and the T-Rex roared. It then bit a huge chunk of meat from the still living spinosaur's neck and handed it to the younger Rex, who happily ate it. The copters were out of the clearing but everyone could hear the loud roar of the champion T-Rex ringing through the island, above the rumbling of the volcano.
"It's over." Malcolm said
"What do you mean?" Casey asked.
"The island is eventually going to be destroyed by the volcano and the facility has probably already been cleared."
Sarah nodded and then remarked, "Site B"
Ian rolled his eyes and held Sarah close to him. They both looked back at the plains of the island where the herbivores grazed untainted by the volcano, at least for the time being. The brachiosaurs waded in the lake eating fronds and the gallimimuses ran along the plains in a frenzy. The Sun was bright in the sky and Malcolm was satisfied. He had made yet another trip to these islands. He had made it.
Malcolm looked at Sarah and chuckled.
"What?" she asked.
"God's back in charge, the dinosaurs are going extinct yet again." Malcolm said smiling.
"Is chaos involved?" Sarah said, teasing Malcolm.
"No. Not this time." Malcolm said, then he leaned over and kissed her.
Alan in the helicopter looked away, Dear God he thought to himself. But he saw that they had reached the ocean and looked back to Nublar one, last time.
"The end of Jurassic Park." He said under his breath, then he laid back in his chair and put his hat over his head.
