Jurassic Park IV: Extinction

PART 4:(sorry bout the title mess up)
Chris Connors pushed his left thumb through the blue gel, the 4o ft. high gate opened slowly and he drove his Hummer out into the jungle road. He had two guards with him who were talking to themselves in spanish and listening to the radio.Another chinese man, Jon Tao (pronounced z-ow)sat alone looking at some building blueprints. Chris Connors was a tall man of 34. He was dirty blonde and wore khakis and a button-down shirt. He carried a handgun with him at all times. He had been at the BioSyn facility from the beginning. He was approached by a man named Lewis Dodgson 6 months ago and was offered a generous salary to guard Dodgson's "zoo". Originally director of Safety at The San Diego Wild Animal Park, Connors spent time driving around the animal grounds, he often walked around with the carnivores and studied their behavior, the other workers at the zoo used to think he was a wack-job for voluntarily risking his life all the time with the predators, but the truth was, he wasnt at all scared of them.
The Hummer drove down the road at short speed. If it were up to Connors they wouldnt even be out there, with them, the dinosaurs, but it wasnt up to him, and the man in charge was truly a "wack-job." He and his men had to escort scientists through the old InGen labs. BioSyn was just beginning to understand to true and rigorous process of what InGen tried to live out. Chris, who was driving was silent the whole trip, this was his 3rd time to the building and the last two had been good. The 1st time they saw some raptors but they locked the doors and waited till they lost interest.
The visitor's center was over-grown, it was green with moss and some of the shiny metal had turned to rusty copper.
The 4 parked the car in front and Chris turned off the radio. "This shouldn't take long guys, a quick in and out, and remember to stay quiet, we dont wan't to attract any animals."
Connors led the way up the steps and into the building. Two raptor skeletons lay on the floor, with some bones missing, the foyer was silent. The steps were jagged and bones lie all over the ground, a huge banner lie on the floor and the murals of the wall were torn apart. The crew kept walking, Chris led the way and had his gun in his hands at all times, he didnt want to be surprised. The group stopped room to room, Dr.Tao kept an eye on his blueprints and shook his head when he went into each room. They were looking for the "show" lab, although it didnt serve much of a purpose to InGen, it was a part of the tour and it gave a glimpse of what happened in the real labs on Isla Sorna. There were valuable disks on the DNA that had not been recognized by Ingen. There were some species that have shown up that the biologists didnt recognize and has led to too many deaths among the crew.
The group walked into a room with seats like a movie theatre and a curtain covering one end of the room, the chairs were all facing that end too. The men walked around the room looking for controls and one of the spanish gaurds lifted some carpet and found a panel with green buttons, he pressed one and all of the seats popped up. "What the Hell! I thought there wasnt power to this damn place!"Connors said.
"Well this room must have it's own generator, InGen relied on machine instead of man, when they left out it is quite possible things turn off and on by themselves." Tao said.
"Try some more ok?" Connors said.
The guard nodded and pressed another button and the screen lifted. There was a wall of glass and the lab was right in front of them. In the lab was a big nest with baby dilophosaurs and 3 adults.
"Nobody move" Chris said.
The 4 stood still starring at the dinos. The 3 adults were about 6 ft high and had two crests on their heads. One of the adults held its mouth open while the feathery little babies ate regurgitated food fromt eh adults mouth. One of the adults noticed the curtain and walked to the glass.
"It cant see us if we dont move" Tao said.
The dilo put it's snout against the glass and blew on it. The glass was tinted so they werent sure if it could see their figures. The all stood silent. They were sweating with anxiety by the time the dilo turned around. One of the guards hands were so sweaty he dropped his gun. A few meters away, the same dilo lifted it's head and immediately turned around and ran towards the glass. It ran straight for the glass, head first. The was a huge sound when it hit the glass and a huge crack grew across the glass.
The dilo fell back on the ground and shook it's head. The other adults began to hiss and walk towards the wall.
"Let's get the fuck out of here!" one of the gaurds said.
" NO, I need that disk! You all know Dodgson would kill us if we dont have them when we come back" Tao said.
"If we come back" Connors said.
The group waited while the dilo walked towards the back of the room and faced the glass. Everyone in the room know exactly waht it was about to do...
The Dilo ran at top speed towards the glass. 6 ft. away it jumped up with it's mouth open and teetch exposed. All of it's limbs were in front of it and it's claws were ready. It crashed through the glass and rolled into the room, It's face had glass shards embedded in it. It leaped for the guard at the panel and slashed his stomach open. Then it's frill opened and he started spitting.
Connors, Tao and the guard. Ran through the now, broken glass and into the room, the other two adults stood over the nest protecting their babies. Tao ran towards the computer desk and looked through the files. He picked up two disks. One unmarked and the other labeled:, "Unknown DNA."
"Got it?" Connors asked.
Tao nodded and the trio made for the door. Chris tried to open it but it was locked.
"The only way out is where we came in"
Connors said.
The three walked towards the room. They could not see the man being eaten in the corner but the chairs moved up and down, because his body lay on the panel. They quietly walked along the chairs. The dilo was busy with the body, it's frill lay half-open and it had blood dripping from it's cuts across it's face.
The group made it out the door when it slammed behind them and the dilo looked up. They began to run through the building. They ran into a cafe where tables and chairs were sprawled across the ground. The stumbled over them when the dilo skidded across the entryway and was stopped by the wall. It regained balance and chase the men through the cafe. Tao was the last running and the dilo jumped on his back. It bit his' throat and chased after the guard. Chris and the guard were running down a hallway with pillars along the side. Chris was in the lead and he quickly stepped to the side and stood against a pillar and watched as the guard was chased further down the hall by the dilo.
Chris walked back into the cafe and saw Tao lying across a fallen table. He held the disks in his hand and his eyes were rolled back. Chris had not known Tao at all but he sympathized with him. A lot of the scientists had to work for Dodgson for a living. Just like him they were confined to the island and had to swear to secrecy that they wouldn tell a sole about their wear abouts. Dodgson worked them late-hours and they couldnt communicate with their families back home. He held Jon Tao's hand as he was losing his breath. Jon's eyes rolled back into position and he looked at Connors. He lifted his hands that were clutching the disks into Connors' lap. Chris nodded and kept holding on to Tao's other hand. Tao then started moving his lips and breathing heavily, Connors kept silent, trying to listen to what Tao had to say, He finally go it out:,
"Tell my daughter that I love her."
Chris was confused. BUt he didnt want to look it. He nodded and Tao's eyes rolled to the back of his head and his breath came slower and shorter, then Tao stopped breathing.
Chris shook his head and heard the Dilo hissing outside the door. Chris jumped behind the bar and waited for it to stop. He looked up and the dilo was wasting Jon Tao's lifeless body.
Connors looked at the door, it was open and he made for it. He was almost out when another dilo showed up. Chris looked towards the door and slammed it, bashing the dilos head between the door and the wall. That dilo fell to the floor in convulsions & the other, with the glass in his face looked up toward Connors.
Chris ran through the foyer and out of the center, there was no car in sight and there were tread marks heading into the jungle..
"Son of a Bitch!" Connors screamed.
A dirty looking gaurd limped into up to the finger-pad at the gate, he was allowed in.
The guard walked into Dodgson's office.
"Get this thing out of my office!" Dodgson said.
"Sir, he is the only survivor from this' morning's group." another gaurd said.
"What the Hell happened?" Dodgson asked.
"They all were killed, by the frilled devils."
"Yea, whatever, did u get the disk?"
"No Sir."
"Kill him."
The guard then cocked his rifle and shot the man in the head.
