In the previous JP movies, Isla Nublar is described as being "120 miles west of Costa Rica", and Sorna is "87 miles southwest of Isla Nublar". That calculates Sorna out to be about 163 miles west of Costa Rica, though JP3 claims it is 270 miles away. (From: SeanArcher)

    Super-Mod III (Part 7)
    By CastorTroy

The Winterstorm Gang approached the bank. When they reached the steps leading up to the door, Frostbite stopped and gave a handgun to Blizzard.

“Stay out here and stand guard. Anyone comes, kill them. If it’s more then you can handle, well, we should hear the gunshots and be on out.” Frostbite said to Blizzard, who nodded his understanding.

Frostbite turned back around and froze a large section of the street. While he did so, Blizzard and Snowman knocked knuckles together. “Take care of yourself out here,” Snowman said.

“You too, Little Brother,” Blizzard replied. The others walked up the steps and reached the door. Frostbite tried to open them, but found them locked, so he froze them. When he kicked them, they shattered and the gang strolled right on in.

The inside of the bank, while parts were still under construction due to the damage during Super-Mod and Shiva’s fight, was pretty much back to normal, with no traces of the ice.

“So where’s the vault with this thing, Shiva?” Frostbite asked.

“This way.” As Shiva brushed past him, she hit his shoulder with hers, and began leading the way across the room. A group of five security Mods rushed around the corner, and Frostbite immediately worked on freezing them.

“Shiva, help!” he ordered. Shiva growled under her breath, and reluctantly helped Frostbite by working on the other end of the line. The Mod in the middle ducked and ran out of line of fire while his partners were turned to ice. From his spot off to the side, he drew his gun. Chill spotted this and rushed over. She knocked the gun out of his nervous hand and placed both hands on the side of his face.

After a few seconds he began screaming as Chill’s hands gave his face extreme frostbite. Then she leaned in and kissed him on the lips, filling his insides with ice until he was dead. He fell over onto the floor, and his iced organs shattered inside his body. Snowman laughed when he looked at the dead Mods and how easy and quickly it was for them to be dispatched of.

“Now, shall we continue?” Frostbite asked. Without saying anything, Shiva continued into the hall, followed by the others. She led them into the vault room that she had been in days before, and the giant steel door loomed before them.

“There it is,” Shiva stated. “But good luck getting in. The thing is air tight, so if you try to freeze it, it won’t fully freeze. Which means you can’t just smash in. And after my attempt, I’m sure they’ve put other things in effect, like probably some internal heater or something.”

Frostbite looked it over and ran his fingers along the edges. “Ok then. Shiva, Chill, you two gals go into the computer system and see if you can find out what the combination for this beast is. Me and Little Brother will stay here and see if we can find another way in.”

Chill led Shiva away by the shoulders. “Come on girl, it’ll be just me and you again. I always liked those missions best.” Shiva gave Chill an ‘Oh give me a break’ look, but went with her out of the room.

Carnotaur3 is slapped on a bullet-proof vest as he stood in the main room of the Mod precinct, surrounded by a team of people in S.W.A.T. gear.

“Ok men,” he spoke up. “We just got the ok from Chief JPJunkee to go ahead without him.” He dimmed the lights and turned on an overhead projector. “We’re hitting this section of the Site…” There was a map of the Site projected on the wall and Carnotaur3 pointed to a section of it. “There’ll be a seemingly shut down apartment building on the corner of 5th Street and 48th Ave of the Message Board. That’s what we hit. If our Intel is correct, that’ll be where the Order’s base of operations is. We all know how long we’ve been waiting for this, so I don’t need to remind any of you how important this is. Shoot only if absolutely necessary. We want to try to take as many of them alive as we can. Let’s move out!”

Carnotaur3 put a helmet on as he lifted up a shotgun, cocking it. He led the team out of the building and into a large black van just outside, waiting for them.

    ***

Shiva sat in a chair in a fancy office of the bank, Chill looking at the computer screen over Shiva’s shoulder.

“God, there’s thousands of files here, and we have no idea which one it is, or if it’s even in here,” Shiva complained.

“It is,” Chill assured her. “All bank managers would have it in their computer system incase they forget it. And thanks to your wonderful hacking skills, getting onto his personal account wasn’t hard at all. Compared to that, this part should be easy.”

The two were silent for several minutes as they searched the files on the computer. Shiva decided to break the awkwardness. “So…How’ve you been?”

Chill smiled. “About time you asked, you self-centered bitch!” Chill and Shiva both laughed. Just like old times. “I met a guy on UFX.”.

Shiva turned her head to look at Chill. “Really? Wow, I imagine Dac isn’t too thrilled about that.” She turned back to the computer and Chill talked.

“Yeah, well it’s not up to him thankfully. This is my last job actually. After this is done, I’m going to UFX to be with him. His name’s Goldrex and he is such the sweetest guy. He doesn’t exactly know about my powers yet, but I’m not afraid to tell him. I know he’ll find a way to work around it.”

“Wow, DangerGurl settling down. Never thought I’d see the day.” They chuckled like two schoolgirls, until Shiva stopped and replaced the laughter with a surprised expression. “Hey, I think I found it.”

    ***

Dark Element walked up the stairs of the abandoned apartment complex, onto the second floor, giant Tripod gun resting on his shoulder, and walked down the hall towards Malcolm’s apartment.

One member of the Order was in the hall, leaning up against the wall with a young girl in extremely skimpy clothes, making out with her, his hand up her shirt. He saw Dark Element heading down the hall and turned, very quickly leading the girl down the hall away from Dark Element.

Dark Element turned and knocked on Malcolm’s closed door. A Second later it opened, revealing a group of people sitting around a table, snorting coke. “It is done,” Dark Element informed Malcolm, who’s eyes lit up with joy.

“That is AWESOME news! You, my friend, are my new hero. You have done the impossible!” Dark Element remained silent and showed no sign of caring anything at all about what Malcolm was saying. “Of course you can remain here for the night. No rush to leave or anything. Stay forever if you want. The feat you accomplished today earns you an automatic position in the Order!”

Dark Element snarled, “Keep your stinkin’ position. I’m out of here at first light.” He walked away down the hall.

Malcolm turned around to the people in his room and literally jumpped for joy. “Super-Mod is dead!” The room erupted with cheering and clapping.

    ***

Super-Mod opened his eyes to see JPJunkee and Seth Rex, each with one of Super-Mod’s arms around their shoulders, dragging him away from the parking lot of where the Gala building used to be. By this point, just about all the crowd had dispersed and the area was filled with ambulances and Mod cars.

“The bank…” Super-Mod said weakly. “They’re gone to the bank…”

Seth took Super-Mod off JPJunkee’s hands. “I’ll radio in for back-up and head on over there now,” JPJunkee promised Super-Mod.

“No,” he declined. “Shiva…she’s with them…helping them. But not at her will. They’re forcing her to. I don’t want one of your men to shoot her.” Super-Mod removed his arms from Seth and stood on his own. A bit wobbly, but on his own.

“Your bike was destroyed, remember?” JPJunkee reminded Super-Mod. “There’s no way you can make it there in time.”

Super-Mod looked at the ground, sadly. Seth replied, “Actually there is.” Super-Mod looked up at his friend with hope in his eyes. Seth pointed across the parking lot to a custom pitch black, low-to-the-ground sleek Diablo Lamborghini with a giant white ‘SM’ written in fancy lettering across the engine hood.

    Rough idea:

Super-Mod approached it, so surprised and so shocked. When he reached it, he ran his hand over it. “What…When…Why…” he was at such a loss for words.

Seth beamed with pride. “This is the secret project I’ve been working on. Happy birthday, man.”

Super-Mod turned to Seth. “Um, my birthday was back in February.”

Seth explained, “Not Aragorn’s birthday. Your birthday! Six years go today, you first donned the Super-Mod outfit, however basic of a costume it was back then.”

Super-Mod smiled under his handkerchief bandaged. “Oh man, this is so wicked. There’s no way I can ever thank you.”

“How about you thank him by going and stopping Winterstorm?” JPJunkee chimed in.

    Super-Mod re-composed himself. “Right.”

Seth threw him the keys and he climbed in behind the driver’s seat. He started the car up – which he would soon enough come to calling it the Modwheels – and he slowly pulled it out of the parking lot. Once on the open road, he took off at full speed, pushing a button which fired him off like a rocket, large flames exiting the back.

JPJunkee and Seth looked on at the departing car.

“Kid, you’ve got to make me one of those.”

“Not on your life,” Seth replied to JPJunkee. “That one was hard enough.” JPJunkee turned and walked away to continue helping with the clean-up effort.

Seth quickly caught up. “Since that was my ride here, think you can give me a ride back to my secret base?” JPJunkee gave Seth a look, but Seth didn’t seem to understand. “What? What did I say?”

    ***

Shiva and Chill entered the vault room just as Snowman was morphing back into a human from a pile of snow. “Nope, no use,” he stated. “It really is air-tight.”

Frostbite turned when he saw the two girls enter. “Tell me you got it.”

“We got it,” Shiva replied. She handed the printed piece of paper to Frostbite, who smiled in return. He turned the combination to the one on the paper and the door opened with a hiss. Everyone except Shiva beamed. Frostbite opened the door all the way and stepped inside.

The only thing in this vault was a golden medallion with a green jewel in the middle of it, in the very middle of the room, in a glass case.

“Remember, Mr. Hubbs was very specific about not touching the jewel with your skin,” Chill said.

“I know, I know,” Frostbite sighed. “Crazy old koot scared of fingerprints or something.” He removed a cloth from his pocket and opened it up as he smashed part of the glass case. An alarm blared, but everyone ignored it. Frostbite grabbed the jewel with the cloth, and wrapped the cloth around it as he turned back to the others. “It’s done.”

    ***

The Modwheels zoomed down the street like the loud engine-ripping metal beast that it was, fire licking out from the back. It drove down the road, going so fast that everything outside the windows for Super-Mod, was nothing but blurs of colors. A tracking system inside the car helped Super-Mod keep control at such high speed, and allowed him to safely maneuver around other vehicles and obstacles.

On Super-Mod’s nifty GPS system, it showed that he was close to the bank, however when he looked up, he saw two very large transport trucks side-by-side, blocking the entire road ahead. Super-Mod quickly looked down at a sheet of paper on the seat next to him filled with brief instructions. As he got nearer to the trucks, he turned some dials, flipped a switch, and pushed a button.

The Modwheels, as it continued driving, began to transform. Two of the wheels on the same side stayed the exact same, but the rest of the car lifted up and dipped onto its side, so the entire car was vertical. The other two wheels, which were up in the air and stuck out slightly, got pulled back inside the bottom of the car. It tightly, but effortlessly squeezed in between the two trucks, and once it emerged out onto the other side, it took a few seconds to transform back to normal.

“Woah.” Super-Mod sharply turned a corner with a screech, and the bank loomed dead ahead.

He hit the part of the road where it was completely ice, all the way to the bank, and the car began to skid out. Super-Mod flipped a couple other switches and a metal casing surrounded the rubber tires, and a second later, small metal spikes emerged, digging into the ice, giving the car good traction.

Blizzard stood on the steps of the bank, watching fearfully as the black car with the giant white ‘SM’ on it neared. He raised the gun and fired, but the bullets just bounced harmlessly off the bullet-proof windows. He started backing up the steps as the car got nearer.

“You aren’t getting away that easily,” Super-Mod whispered as he grabbed two joystick controllers on either side of the steering wheel and pushed a button on one of them. The hood lifted straight up, supported by four pistons, and a small gun raised out of the engine area. It fired and a net sailed through the air and enveloped Blizzard, knocking him to the ground. Electricity surged through it and Blizzard screamed high-pitched, until he fell unconscious. The electricity stopped.

The Modwheels screeched to a stop at the foot of the steps. Super-Mod stepped out, holding a similar device to the one he had for the motorcycle. He reached back inside and pulled out a small titanium box and stuck it in his jacket pocket. He activated the security system. He put the device away as he rushed up the steps and through the hole where the door used to be, into the bank.

    ***

The black van pulled up down the street from the abandoned apartment complex and the back doors opened, allowing the Mod SWAT team to jump out and check their weapons. Carnotaur3 was the first one out, and he rounded the others up when everyone was out. Throughout the entire preparation, no talking happened and everyone communicated using hand signals.

Carnotaur3 lead the way as they rushed across the street and then up the street. They slowed to a crawl when they neared the target building and approached it with caution. They reached the back door and Carnotaur3 tried to open it, but found it locked locked. He made a hand signal and the group split in half, the other half going around to the front.

They moved the loose boards out of the way and tried the door there and it opened fine. They very slowly and quietly, creped into the building.

    ***

Back behind the building, Carnotaur3 counted down on his fingers and when he got to no fingers, he raised the shotgun and blasted a hole in the door where the lock used to be. He kicked open the door and they all rushed in.

    ***

Malcolm was alone in his room, getting ready for bed, when his door slammed open and Vito Hardy ran in wearing pajama’s, throwing a rifle to Malcolm.

    “What’s going on?” Malcolm demanded.

“We’re being raided!” Vito Hardy shouted. Malcolm scowled and clutched the gun tightly.

    ***

Super-Mod rushed down the main hall of the bank, removing his guns from their holsters at his sides under his jacket. Frostbite, Chill, Snowman, and Shiva walked out into the hall and stared at Super-Mod, surprised.

Super-Mod fired, at the exact same time that Frostbite fired his ice powers. Two of the bullets lodged into Snowman’s leg, causing him to scream until he morphed his legs to snow, and before he fell to the floor, morphed them back.

Super-Mod jumped to the side as the swirling white mist reached him, and it continued on past, freezing a table and part of the wall. Frostbite re-aimed, but Super-Mod ducked under the blast, and fired. Chill grabbed a metal pole and threw it down in front of Frostbite at the exact same time the bullets reached him, so they ricocheted off the pole while it fell.

“Shiva, kill him!” Frostbite shouted the command. Frostbite again re-adjusted, but Super-Mod had already gone inside one of the offices.

“I don’t think so.” Shiva instantly elbowed Chill square in the face, causing her to scream, and started freezing the ceiling with one hand and floor with the other. She was in the process of connecting the two, creating a wall of ice in the middle of the hall, blocking them off from the rest of the hall and from where the room Super-Mod went into was located, but Snowman froze his hand into a fist and clunked it into Shiva’s head. She stopped her plan as she yelped and fell to the floor. Snowman smiled as his hand returned to normal.

“Kill her,” Frostbite ordered. Snowman moved in and put both hands around Shiva’s neck, tightening. She tried to gasp for air, but couldn’t and began to struggle. Frostbite stepped over the small rise of ice on the floor, and onto the other side. Chill, after regaining her posture, followed him, shooting Shiva a dirty look.

    ***

Inside one of the closed offices, Super-Mod clutched a handful of those little exploding metal spiked balls from the beginning of the story, and waited to see shadows under the door before he threw them. As soon as they stuck into the back of the door, Super-Mod turned and jumped behind the desk.

The door exploded outwards, showing Frostbite and Chill with debris and smoke. They screamed and coughed, but made their way through into the office.

Super-Mod jumped up, firing. They ducked and the bullets slammed into the wall out in the hall. Frostbite sneered and froze the desk that Super-Mod was hiding behind.

    ***

Back out in the hall, Shiva struggled to stay conscious as Snowman continued choking her. She raised her hands and clasped them around his sides and began turning him to ice.

Snowman laughed at her worthless attemption. “That is pointless you…” He was cut off as his entire body froze. Before he could change form, Shiva slammed her fist down on the frozen hands around her neck, shattering them.

She ran around Snowman as he changed back to human and his broken hands formed into a pile of snow and re-combined with him, his hands forming brand new again. He turned around, but Shiva was already far down the hall.

    ***

The frozen desk in the office shattered, pelting Super-Mod and forcing him to stand up. Before he had time to fire, Chill was on him and she knocked his guns away. She used her hands to knock Super-Mod’s arms down and then reached up and placed her hands on either side of Super-Mod’s face, lowering his handkerchief bandage. Super-Mod started to scream as his face began to get major frostbite, and while his mouth was opened, Chill moved in to kiss him.

Frostbite turned around to check on the Shiva situation, but got a metal pole slammed into his face. His nose broke and blood gushed out. Shiva slammed the pole into his stomach with a yell, knocking him back.

Chill whipped her head around to see what was happening and Super-Mod head-butted her. She lost her grip and Super-Mod twirled away from her grasp and picked up a shard of ice. As Chill moved towards him, he rammed the shard into her arm and she yelled painfully and backed up.

Super-Mod ran around her as she pulled the shard out, and he kicked Frostbite in the back of the knees while he rushed past. With Frostbite on his knees, Shiva slammed the pole into his face again before dropping it. She reached forward into Frostbite’s shirt pocket.

Frostbite grabbed at her arm, but Super-Mod knocked them down. Shiva pulled the medallion wrapped in cloth out. “I got it!” She ran with Super-Mod out of the room, as Super-Mod brought his handkerchief bandage back up around his face.

Snowman was there waiting and grabbed the medallion right from Shiva’s hand with a laugh. Super-Mod grabbed him by the back of the shirt as he turned to run away, and pulled him back. He twirled Snowman around, but got kicked where the sun don’t shine.

He let go and keeled over, allowing Snowman to escape with the medallion. “I’m fine, go get him!” Super-Mod painfully ordered Shiva. Shiva gave chase and followed Snowman down the hall and out into the main room of the bank.

Chill walked out into the hall and glared down at Super-Mod. Frostbite stumbled through the doorway, leaning on Chill for support, blood gushing from his nose.

“Go get Shiva. I’ll deal with this fucker.” Frostbite stopped leaning on Chill and she ran off after Shiva. Frostbite knocked Super-Mod’s cap off, and went in to grab his hair, but Super-Mod hit his arm away. Frostbite quickly used his other hand and clutched a large clump of Super-Mod’s hair.

He screamed as he forced Super-Mod to stand and slammed his face into the wall. He moved his hand back and then slammed Super-Mod’s face into the wall again. His sunglasses shattered and the pieces fall to the floor. If nothing else, Frostbite’s sheer body mass and strength was far up on Super-Mod’s, and he was willing to use that.

    ***

Snowman ran across the main room of the bank, running towards the exit, but Shiva froze the floor in front of him and he slipped on it and went flying. The medallion flew from his grip and while in the air, fell loose from the cloth and slammed into the floor. The golden medallion part shattered into three pieces and the green jewel slid across the floor. It glowed green for a second before the glow disappeared and it returned to its normal non-glowing green.

Chill emerged into the room behind Shiva and kicked her in the back. Shiva flew forward and slammed into a teller’s booth. She flipped herself over and rolled her body off the booth, just as Chill’s fist came crashing down, splintering the wood of the booth.

    ***

The second group of Mod SWAT rushed down the bottom floor of the abandoned apartment complex, pointing guns around every corner and into every room, but not coming across anyone.

    ***

The first group, led by Carnotaur3, ran out from the staircase and onto the second floor. The hall was filled with running people.

“Everyone stop running!” Carnotaur3 shouted. “Freeze! Nobody move!” Of course no one listened to him, and all that did was give everyone the time they needed to arm themselves. As soon as they’re fired upon, Carnotaur3 returned fire. “Fire at will!”

What happened in the hall was a massacre even worse then the one Dark Element initiated earlier. Whoever was currently in the hall, for the Order, was mowed down within seconds, blood splattering every surface there was. However gang members started leaning out of their rooms and firing, some even from behind the Mod SWAT team. Due to their armor though, the shots did nothing but jerk them around a little bit.

As half of the Mod SWAT team moved forward and started flushing apartments out, shouting, the other half returned fire on the people behind them.

    ***

At the sound of gunfire, the second group on the first floor all stop.

“Move it upstairs!” the leader of them shouted. They turned around and rushed towards the staircase. Along the way, three people ran down them. “Freeze! You are under arrest!”

One of them stopped and put his hands up, but the other two kept running. Their kneecaps were shot out, and they fell to the floor, screaming. When the rest of the team rushed on upstairs, two stayed behind to take care of their three new arrests.

    ***

The second team arrived upstairs and merged with the first team once again and joined in on the room searching.

    ***

Dark Element’s apartment was pitch black. Dark Element was actually laying on his back under his bed, Tripod gun pointed out towards the door, which itself was rigged with dozens of various wires.

The door was kicked in by Mod SWAT members, and the doorframe exploded. Dark Element opened fire before the smoke could clear, and dying screams could be heard.

Some surviving members returned fire, but due to both the smoke and darkness, couldn’t actually see anything in the room, and so they completely missed Dark Element. Dark Element continued firing, mowing them down.

    ***

The door to Malcolm’s apartment was still closed, but Malcolm and Vito Hardy kept their guns raised.

“You should get out of here, Malcolm,” Vito Hardy suggested. “Go through your window.”

Malcolm nodded and rushed over to his window opening. As soon as he climbed up, ready to jump, the door burst open.

Vito Hardy got one shot off before his leg was blown out from under him and he crumpled to the floor. Malcolm jumped out the window and landed on the ground far below. As he ran away, the Mod SWAT members fired at him from the window, however he managed to escape and ran off around the corner.

    ***

Dark Element walked out into the hall, stepping over the dead Mod SWAT bodies. He fired an energy blast from his gun down the hall. It exploded against a wall, completely destroying that section of the wall and the room beyond it, as well as any Mod SWAT in that area. Others were thrown away from the blast, but survived. The explosion caused parts of the wall and floor to catch fire.

Dark Element changed modes on his gun and mowed down the surviving Mod SWAT before they could stand up again. A bullet lodged into Dark Element’s arm and he whipped around. He fired but instead of bullets, one of the three Tripod barrels shot out of the gun and impaled the Mod SWAT member, but not killing him. No, he was killed when his body was ripped apart in a gory display, when the barrel exploded after lodging into him.

Thick black smoke drifted through the building as the fire raged out of control, burning everything in sight. Dark Element turned back around and saw that there was still Mod SWAT members in the fiery area, trying to apprehend people. He fired both of his remaining two Tripod barrels, two more Mod SWAT people getting impaled and then exploding.

Dark Element turned back around again to make a run for the stairs, but was met by Carnotaur3 and three others, guns raised. Dark Element threw the hulk of worthless metal at them, hitting their guns just as they fired, causing the shots to go wild. While they re-adjusted their firing positions, Dark Element reached them and took his dagger out. He slammed it into an unprotected spot under the helmet of one member, blood gushing out. While the body fell, he whipped his leg out and kicked the gun from Carnotaur3, and then he jumped and swung his other leg out, kicking Carnotaur3 away. Carnotaur3 crashed through a burning wall and into the engulfed room beyond.

The last Mod SWAT member of that group fired, but Dark Element dodged away, only to turn back around to face him, grab his gun, and then forcefully kick him backwards and directly into the burning fire. Dark Element whipped the gun around as he turned and fired at another group of Mod SWAT that was between him and the stairs, but hiding around a corner, in a room. They peaked out to fire before going back around the corner to avoid Dark Element’s fire.

Dark Element ran into the closest room – Vito Hardy’s room, and picked up the double-bladed battle axe. The fire was now raging on all sides of Dark Element. He aimed at the floor and twirled around as he fired.

Carnotaur3 emerged into the room, half his SWAT uniform burned right off, as Dark Element fell through to the floor below. Once down there, he removed a grenade from his belt, and threw it up through the hole he just made. He ran off down the hall, towards the exit, as the grenade exploded. The floor fell down as Dark Element went out into the hall, and debris and fire filled the room he had just been in.

Guarding the exit at the end of the hall, next to the three Order members, are two Mod SWAT members. Dark Element dropped the gun as he held the axe in both hands. They turned around at the last second, but it was too late. The sharp metal of the blade cut through the soft skin of their necks and decapitated them.

“Oh thank-you! Thank…” The Order member was cut off as Dark Element slammed the axe down into his chest, blood spraying up. Dark Element lifted both guns dropped by the Mod SWAT, one in each hand, and fired at the other two Order members, mowing them down with dying and surprised screams.

He turned to run through the door, but part of the frame was obliterated by a shotgun blast. Dark Element whipped around and fired with both guns.

Carnotaur3 avoided the fire by jumping over the railing and falling to the floor below. He landed in a crouch and fired again, sending Dark Element flying through the air, crashing through the closed door, and falling lifelessly to the ground outside, a bloody hole in his chest.

    ***

As Shiva and Chill fought to the death across the main room of the bank, with various martial arts moves, a pile of snow seemingly blew across the floor towards the jewel, despite the fact that there was no wind.

Shiva fell to the floor, but used her legs to push Chill off her and away through the air. Shiva got to her feet and ran towards the jewel. She reached it, just as Chill grabbed her from behind and twirled her around, but not before Shiva managed to kick the jewel far across the room, away from the snow.

Shiva turned to face Chill and moved to head-butt her, but Chill maneuvered her head and punched Shiva in the side of the chest.

“DangerGurl, listen to me!” But instead of listening to Shiva, Chill punched her again. Shiva used her leg to kick Chill away from her, but not with enough force to knock her down. “Do you really think that Dac is going to just let you leave after this mission?”

Chill twirled and slammed her leg out, kicking Shiva in the side of the face as Chill came around to face her and jump-kicked Shiva back, knocking her into one of the ice figures and smashing it. “We have an understanding,” Chill stated coldly.

Shiva grabbed a piece of ice and threw it at Chill. While Chill was blocking and hitting the ice away, Shiva ran at her, jumped, and put Chill’s head in a head-lock as she landed on the floor and went down into a crouch, forcing Chill to the floor with a gagging scream.

“Listen to me, you dumb bitch!” Shiva shouted with urgency. “He isn’t going to just let you walk away! Look at me! I guarantee you he’ll kill Goldrex and maybe even you!”

Chill started choking, but managed to choke out, “You can’t be sure!”

“Yes, I can!” Shiva argued back. “He did it to me, and he’ll do it to you too! You know I’m right, so let’s stop fighting each other and work together!”

Frostbite entered the room, throwing Super-Mod’s lifeless body across the floor, face battered, beaten, and swollen. As he slid to a stop, the titanium box fell out of his pocket.

“You’re alone, Shiva,” Frostbite taunted. “Let go of Chill and I just maybe might let you live.”

Shiva glanced at Chill, who glanced back. Shiva saw something in her eyes and obliged. Chill coughed as she returned to her feet.

    “You alright?” Frostbite asked her.

Chill glared at Frostbite and gritted her teeth. “Yes.”

    “Good. Now kill her.”

    “No.”

Shiva looked over and saw the pile of snow almost at the jewel. She made a run over to it.

“Kill her, you worthless tramp!” Frostbite shouted. Without even waiting to see if Chill would oblige or not, he fired his white mist towards Shiva.

    “AngelsPheonix, duck!” Chill shouted.

Without even looking back, Shiva jumped and landed flat on her stomach, the white mist shooting right overtop of her and freezing one of the booths.

“Bitch!” Frostbite turned and fired on Chill, but Chill moved to the side and ran at Frostbite. She jumped and kicked him while in the air, nailing him below the chin and forcing his head to fly back and for him to stumble backwards.

The snow circled the jewel and began to transform back into Snowman, the jewel in his hand, but his hand had only materialized for a second before Shiva reached the spot and kicked the jewel from his grasp. She ran after it, the fully-human Snowman chasing after her.

“You can’t win!” he shouted to her. Shiva reached the jewel, just as Snowman reached her and pulled her towards him. She flung the jewel across the room, and it sailed through a barred door, the spaces between the bars not big enough to fit a person. Snowman growled and morphed to a pile of snow as he moved towards it.

    “Shiv…Shiva!” Super-Mod weakly called out.

Shiva ran over to him and bent down, pushing Super-Mod over onto his back. “Aragorn, are you alright?”

    “Box…for Snow…”

“I don’t understand,” Shiva said after Super-Mod trailed off in mid-sentence. Super-Mod weakly hit the titanium box with a finger. Shiva looked at it and suddenly understood. “You got it, big guy.” Shiva took the box and ran towards gate. She ran much faster then Snowman was able to move while being a pile of snow, and reached the door.

She froze the lock and smashed it, opening the gate and then closing it behind her once she was on the other side. She kicked the jewel right up near the edge of the gate. When the snow reached the jewel and began to surround it, Shiva kicks it away and lowered the titanium box, scooping the snow up into it. When every last flake was in, she closed the lid and turned the latch on it, sealing it shut.

Shiva picked the jewel up in her gloved hand and ran past the dueling Frostbite and Chill and over to Super-Mod.

Chill was flung into a teller’s booth, shattering it as she fell to the other side. She quickly got to her feet, raising a board of broken wood with her. She swung it at Frostbite when he reached her, splintering it to pieces against his head. He stumbled backwards with a painful growl.

Shiva reached Super-Mod and bent down. “Here it is, I got the jewel.”

Super-Mod painfully raised his head and looked at it. He took it in his hand and looked it over. “Such a small little piece of shit,” he said with a weak smile. He closed his fist around it and started to get to his feet, but fell back to the floor with a painful scream as pain coursed through his body.

Chill scratched Frostbite across the face, leaving deep gashes. He back-handed her and knocked her to the floor, following that up by an instant kick to the face. Chill fell backwards onto her back with Frostbite looming above her.

“I was going to wait until after I killed that faggot boyfriend of yours, before I killed you,” Frostbite snarled. “But I guess I can switch the order around.” He lowered his hands, palms outwards, and swirling white mist began to leave them and head down towards Chill.

Shiva stared in shock as a black leathery substance exited from Super-Mod’s closed fist and began to cover his body. It had his body covered in a throbbing black mass within seconds. “Aragorn!”

She tried to claw at the black substance, digging through it, but a part of it quickly slammed out and knocked her away before returning to the rest of the black mass. Shiva looked on in fear, but soon the mass began to take a shape. When it solidified, Super-Mod was standing upright, just as powerful and healthy as ever, but he looked absolutely nothing like he used to.

He was covered from head to toe in the black leathery substance, which solidified to resemble a black leather skin, like a black version of elephant or rhino skin. His entire face was covered, leaving only his eyes free, which glowed red, and no apparent mouth or nose. The green jewel was attached to the middle of Super-Mod’s chest, by itself with no help, stuck into the black leather. Just like with his biker gloves, the knuckles were silver. But what was most shocking of all, was that there were two massive black wings opened wide behind him. The crevices where the indentation from the bones in his wings are visible, were also lined with silver instead of the black color of the rest of his body.

He wrapped the wings around himself, which gave the impression of a cape flowing behind him. On each wing was a tiny silver claw at the top, which hooked together with the claw from the other wing when they wrapped around him. Shiva gasped in fear at this new…Shadow Super-Mod.

The white mist reached Chill, but the second it touched her, Shadow Super-Mod punched Frostbite and he went flying high up into the air, and all the way across the room, landing extremely painfully on the floor. Shadow Super-Mod opened his fists and sharp monstrous claws slid out of his fingertips. He rushed with near-impossible speed towards Frostbite while Shiva helped Chill to her feet.

    “Is that Super-Mod?” Chill asked.

Shiva looked on, eyes wide with fear. “I have no idea who’s under there.”

Shadow Super-Mod slashed his claws across Frostbite’s chest, ripping open his stomach in deep gashes, blood flowing out freely. He picked Frostbite up and lifted him above his head, throwing him up, and letting him fall to the floor again, however right before he reached the floor, Shadow Super-Mod slammed a foot out, kicking Frostbite up against the wall before allowing him to tumble to the floor. There was a large indent left in the wall.

“Please…don’t…” Frostbite lifted his hands up to protect himself as he begged for his life. Shadow Super-Mod hesitated.

During that hesitation, Frostbite smiled and shot the white mist from both hands out towards Shadow Super-Mod. It enveloped him, but nothing seemed to happen beyond the jewel in Shadow Super-Mod’s chest glowing a bright green.

“What…the…” Frostbite never got to finish his sentence. Shadow Super-Mod’s wings opened wide and Frostbite finally knew the meaning of fear as Shadow Super-Mod dug his claws deep into Frostbite’s skin.

Flapping his wings, Shadow Super-Mod lifted them both up into the air and towards the ceiling high above, Frostbite screaming in pain the entire way. When Shadow Super-Mod spoke, his voice was much deeper and much more menacing then it ever was before. ”This is for all the pain you’ve ever caused anyone. Prepare to spend eternity in Hell – the hottest place imaginable where your powers will be as useless as a dick on a monk.”

Shadow Super-Mod retracted his claws back into his fingers, and since those were what had a grip on Frostbite, he fell. His arms and legs flailed as he fell through the air, screaming. He got impaled on one of the metal poles attached to other poles with a thick red rope, and sunk half-way down before stopping, blood spraying up and trickling from his mouth.

Shadow Super-Mod flapped his wings and lowered himself to the floor gently, wrapping the wings back around him like a cape again once he landed. He walked over to Shiva and Chill, and growled when he saw Chill.

“It’s alright,” Shiva said to him in a soft voice. “She’s on our side now.” Shadow Super-Mod glanced at Shiva. Shiva lifted a hand up to his face and placed it against his cheek. “Are you still under there someplace, Aragorn?” The black skin retracted only from Shadow Super-Mod’s head, revealing a sad but relieved face underneath. “Oh Aragorn!”

Shiva reached up and kissed him passionately on the lips. When they parted, Aragorn was left with a fearful expression with tears threatening to come to his eyes. “I don’t know what came over me, Shiva. I felt this unimaginable burst of power. Strength and speed like you can never imagine, but I also felt unimaginable anger. I wanted to rip his skin from his bones and feast upon his muscles! I…I’ve never felt like that before. It scares me…”

Shiva hugged Super-Mod and held him tightly. “Then get rid of it. Return the jewel to its spot and leave it behind.”

Super-Mod nodded and closed his eyes. The wings melded with the black skin, which itself retracted as it sucked back into the green jewel. When all that was left was the jewel, it fell from Aragorn’s chest and into his hand.

“I’ll stay here with Chill. I think this is something you need to do alone,” Shiva said to him.

Aragorn nodded and walked down the hall and into the vault room. He walked into the vault and was about to lay the jewel back in its spot, but hesitated when he was about to let go of it. His mind reminded him of how great all that extra power felt. How great it would be to use that power again, and be unstoppable. With the amount of criminals he could stop, he’d make even JPJunkee look like a sloth. A glint came across his eyes and he looked behind him to make sure no one was there.

And then he laid the jewel inside his jacket instead.

A few minutes later, Aragorn emerged back into the room and approached Shiva and Chill. “It’s done.”

Shiva hugged him again. “Thank God. You scared me back there for a bit.” Aragorn returned the hug and after a minute they parted.

The trio walked outside and towards the unconscious Blizzard, the very peaks of the sun rising in the distance. Shiva handed Aragorn the box with Snowman trapped in it.

    “So now what?” Aragorn asked.

“Now I finally look forward to retirement,” Chill smiled.

Shiva explained to Aragorn, “She has a boyfriend on UFX.”

“I think now’s a good time to turn my life around, and he’s just the incentive I need.”

Aragorn turned to Shiva. “And what about you? About us? What happens next?”

Shiva turned and faces Aragorn. “Aragorn, I really want to stay and be with you, but I really need to make sure my family is ok first, and maybe try to see if they’ll take me back.”

“So what does that mean for us?”

Shiva wiped some loose tears away. “We shouldn’t pursue anything yet. They might not even take me back, and if they don’t, then I’ll be back as sure as the sun rises in the morning.”

    Aragorn nodded. “I understand.”

The two stared at each other for a long moment until Chill cut in. “Um, not to ruin the moment or anything, but you should probably get these two off to prison.”

Aragorn glanced at her and slightly nodded. “Yeah, I should.” He looked back at Shiva. “So this is the end, huh?”

Shiva shook her head. “Not an end, just a break in events. An intermission.”

Aragorn forced a smile, but it was easily noticeable that it was a depressed smile. “Take care of yourself.” He and Shiva hugged one last time.

“You to.” They hugged tightly for a minute before departing. Shiva raised a hand in a good-bye fashion, and Aragorn copied the gesture as Siva and Chill started walking away together.

The Modwheels drove through Dan’s JP3 Page. Early-risers were out and about, playing in the snow. The entire scene had a much more enjoyable tone to it now that there was no more threat from Winterstorm.

Super-Mod passed by a young couple holding hands as they walked under snow-topped trees, snow lightly falling down on top of them as they walked underneath, the two of them playfully screaming and laughing when the cold substance touched their skin. But unlike when JP3 Girl left, Aragorn had a smile on his face. He was finally at peace. Shiva helped him get over JP3 Girl once and for all, and he had moved on at last.

JPJunkee and Carnotaur3 were in the main room of the Mod precinct, along with the surviving Mod SWAT members, as the captured members of the Order, among them being Vito Hardy with a bandaged leg, were booked into cells.

The door opened and Super-Mod, wearing a simple ski-mask over his face, entered, dragging a man in a net in one hand and holding a box in the other. Some of the Mods in the room made a move to their guns.

“No, wait, it’s me,” Super-Mod said.

“Everyone stand down!” JPJunkee ordered and then rushed up towards Super-Mod.

“These are two members of the Winterstorm Gang,” Super-Mod explained. “That guy in the net, don’t let him out from the net until you get him in some kind of high security place. He’s extremely dangerous. He’s the one that’s been causing all the snow around here. He can manipulate the air temperature. My net should keep him unconscious until he’s freed from it.”

Super-Mod dropped the net to the floor, and laid the box on a desk. “And in that box is a guy who can turn himself to ice and snow, so don’t let him out of there.”

“What about the others?” JPJunkee asked.

“I let one of them go. She helped me in the end and genuinely wants to change. The other is dead. You’ll find him in the bank.”

JPJunkee nodded and thanked Super-Mod. Super-Mod nodded back and then left.

Seth Rex sat at the kitchen table in the secret underground base, eating cereal, when Super-Mod entered, removing the ski-mask.

“So, did we win?” Seth asked.

    Aragorn smiled. “We won.”

“Not without ruining yet another costume though, heh? That’s ok, I got another one ready for you anyway.”

    “That won’t be necessary.”

“Huh? Why?” Seth asked, confused. “Are you going to stop being Super-Mod or something?”

Aragorn played with the jewel in his pocket. “I have a new costume now.”

New costume? What do you mean?”

Aragorn removed the jewel and showed it to Seth, who’s eyes went wide with fear. Aragorn smiled a very dark smile.
