Jurassic Park IV: Evolution PART 8
    By Carnotaur3

    EXT. JUNGLE - DAY

Billy, Barron, and Ellie stood, looking at a 15 foot fence. Marked, personally, by Biosyn.

    BARRON
    Positive, eh?

    BILLY
I thought I was. I must of skipped something on the map. Hey, I was doing it in my head.

    ELLIE
Well, what you guys waiting for?

She grabbed the thick wires and pulled her self upon the fence.

Barron and Billy looked at each other.

    BARRON
    Well…she’s very…limber!

Billy stood watching Ellie climb from one wire to the other.

    BILLY
    Very!

INT. COSTA RICAN LOOKOUT BUILDING – DAY

Grant, King, and the American, who was Joe Henderson, stood at the CB.

    HENDERSON
That about does it. They’ll be here at about 4:30.

    KING
    What time is it now?

    HENDERSON
    About 2:00.

    KING
Man, that’s a while from now.

    GRANT
Just enough time to get killed! I hope Billy and them make it here!

    EXT. FENCE – DAY

Climbing the fence seemed harder to Billy, Barron, and Ellie than they had previously perceived. The ferns and branches were in the way, knocking them in the head and body.

From up above the trees, a beating of wings was heard. They knew at that time, they were in for some more trouble!

The full grown Pteranodon had perched itself on the top wire. They hadn’t noticed it until Ellie turned to look up and scream.
It snapped at her, it’s beak missing her by inches. She feel backwards, her legs catching herself from free-fall. She was now only hanging by her legs, looking at Barron’s horrific face.

He shielded himself as the flying reptile poked at his arms. Blood streaming down like rain off his arm. But he still clutched on with his left arm.

Billy kicked the Pteranodon when it flew towards him. It fell to the ground, angry and irritated.

It flopped itself back up and tried to go for the humans, yet again.

By this time, Ellie had already made it over to the other side of the fence. Barron and Billy, still on the other side, shielding themselves again when the Pteranodon slammed against the fence. Barron finally got to the top and helped Billy up as the reptile snapped at his legs.

    Fortunately, it missed him.

Billy and Barron decided to just jump from 15 feet. They fell down the slope, their bodies flying down like basketballs bouncing down a hill.

Ellie stood, watching them skip down the muddy slope. She shrugged, then slid down too.

The Pteranodon didn’t loose track of it’s prey. It flew above the trees, watching them carefully until their bodies came to an abrupt stop.

Billy got up first, bruised and bloodied. Barron was the same. Ellie was still sliding down the hill. Her body wasn’t tumbling like Billy and Barron were, but now she’s was on the ground with them.

They got up immediately, speeding over to the light up ahead. The lagoon!

The Pteranodon loomed in front of them.

    BILLY
    DUCK!
They fell to the ground just as the Pteranodon swooped in for the attack. Its feet only catching air.

    BARRON
    COME ON! THE LAGOON!

The three took full force to the Lagoon’s town. As they did, the Pteranodon turned back around the other way into the sky.

The three ran towards Grant, King, and Henderson, who just now walked out the door.

    GRANT
    ELLIE! BILLY!

    ELLIE
    ALAN!

    BILLY
    ALAN!

Barron waved over to them. His body almost giving out! Grant grabbed Ellie into his arms. Ellie cried on his chest. Billy padded Grant on the back.
