Jurassic Park IV: Evolution PART 6

GRANT
(Shaky voice) Where am I?
EXT. JUNGLE – MORNING
Billy, Barron, and Ellie were walking around in the jungle. Billy was limping, Barron was almost sprinting, and Ellie was about to stop.
Finally she did.
She went up to a tree and covered her eyes with her arm. It was obvious she was crying.
Billy went to calm her down.
Barron noticed the tears.
BARRON
We really need to keep moving.
BILLY
What the hell is wrong with you? Don’t you see what’s happening. Let us mourn over the lose of our friend.
Barron understood.
BARRON
10 min.
He walked over to a large rock and sat upon it.
BARRON
But if he’s alive, he’ll know that we’re going to the lagoon.
EXT. ON TOP OF THE CLIFF – MORNING
Grant looked down toward the rope that his friends had climbed up on.
GRANT
That’s where they were!
Dodgson looked down. There were jagged rocks down below. Someone could get really hurt on them. Maybe even death. And that’s all he needed.
GRANT
Why are you all here and who are you?
DODGSON
I’m with a company called Biosyn. We’re here to cover this up.
GRANT
How do you plan to do that?
Dodgson looked at him with a smirk.
DODGSON
Well…
She threw his body toward Grant knocking him off his feet and off the cliff. Grant fell and ended up grasping the rope.
GRANT
Uh… Ah…
Dodgson stood up above looking down on him, still grinning.
King was stunned. He had no idea Lewis was going to do that and he didn’t like it either.
GRANT(cont’d)
Why are you doing this?
DODGSON
Things you have to do, Dr. Grant, in order to keep a secret.
King stood up.
KING
Don’t do this Lewis!
DODGSON
Watch it, King, or you’re next!
King knew he meant it. Dodgson turned back around to Grant.
DODGSON(cont’d)
Don’t worry, Dr. Grant. This’ll all be over soon!
Dodgson took out his pocket knife and proceeded to cut the rope.
King stood, he couldn’t move. Tension was increasing.
DODGSON
In my world, Dr. Grant, it’s survival of the fittest. And I’m the fittest!
Dodgson suddenly felt his body jolt forward. King had pushed him over the ledge. Dodgson fell into the jagged rocks. His smile faded to terror as he hit the rocks with his body.
Then, King and Grant looked to see Dodgson’s lifeless body floating down the river.
GRANT
(To King from the ropes) Thank you!
EXT. JUNGLE – DAY
Billy, Barron, and Ellie saw tall grass up ahead. Billy noticed that there was a cave a hundred yards a way.
BILLY
That’s it. We go through the cave and the lagoon is just a few yards a way!
ELLIE
You sure?
BILLY
Positive!
BARRON
Let’s go then!
Barron, Ellie, and Billy walked through the tall grass, but then, he heard a funny sound. It was some kind of call. Something Billy had never heard back on Sorna. It sounding like a cry snarl sound.
BILLY
Get down.
They ducked in the grass. As they watched, a crocodilian dinosaur cam out of the foliage. It’s slender body maneuvering on the ground. It found a dark, deep trench in the ground and sniffed it.
BILLY and ELLIE
(Whisper) Baryonyx.
The Baryonyx looked around from the right to the left then turned around and bent over the trench. The group stood in awe and horror as it’s eggs plopped out one at a time. The horror was that, if this thing found they were there, they’d be dead before they knew what hit them.
Two male Baryonyx came crashing in the picture, snapping at each other. They were playing, but it seemed as though they were trying to rip each other’s throats out.
Then, one of the males sniffed the air. It could smell them.
Barron looked towards a big tree to the right.
BARRON
(Whisper) Come on, let’s go.
They crawled to the tree, each time breathing in and out hard.
The Baryonys followed the scent to a tree. Then it noticed the three in the tree. Using it’s vocal chords, it called out to the others. The Baryonyx used it’s thick thumb claw to grab a hold of the tree’s bark, climbing up it to the three humans. It managed to take a bite out of Barron’s arm, but he took it out quickly from it’s grasp.
He and the others balanced themselves on the thick limbs. Walking and running on them at different times. The other Barys were following them down below, their mouths dripping with hunger.
Then one of the dinosaurs jumped in the air and attacked Ellie.
Barron jumped at it, sending him and the dinsoaur to free- fall down into the dark grass. His head, banging on the ground like a hammer. He was almost about to knock himself out but he got back up. His vision blurred. Bu he kept running. Billy and Ellie followed Barron from the trees, seeing him go into the dark cave, alone. Billy saw three Barys follow close behind Barron.
INT. DARK CAVE – COLD
The cave really wasn’t all like a cave, in the distance who could see light. Light from another exit. The other exit ws the light where the carnivores were coming out of. Barron kept running.
