Jurassic Park IV Costa Rica (Part 8) Segment 2

Anne looked back at Kyle’s lifeless body and noticed that not only one raptor was eating on him, but three more. Tearing at his flesh like savage wolves. They looked up at her, still chewing on the bloodied meat, then ducked back in to the rib cage. She sprinted down the aisle looking for Baron.

Swinging the orange life preserver in front of the raptor’s face, Baron managed to get the raptor’s attention toward it and not him. The raptor simply took a snap on the orange object and took it down to the ground, chewing out its insides, revealing white under the orange. Dr. Baron ran back down the steps of the yacht. Damn it in hell, he was never going to do something so stupid again. Going someplace where he had no chance for survival. If it wasn’t for the life jacket, he would have been killed on the spot.
He saw Anne looking around cautiously at the boats around her and yelled for her. “Anne, come on. Number 7. Look for it.”
She ran up ahead and he followed close behind.

The alpha raptor tore through the rest of Kyle’s body and barked at the others, letting it all too himself. But the alpha female, chattered for him to stop. It screamed at the male and nodded over at the two humans that were running down the aisle. The male screamed back and ran toward the aisle.

The two humans jumped on the Sea Doo, making the floating object to bump around the two wooden poles. Baron fumbled with the keys, while Anne positioned herself in the back. Damn it, why the hell did he ever learn how to drive boats. Ok, was he supposed to put the key in first? Yeah.
Anne screamed for Baron to hurry. One of the male raptors was running up the aisle, snarling at them. He quickly twisted the right handle, after he heard the motor go.
VROOOM…..
They sped off as the raptor leaped into the air, it’s sickle protruding out, ready to slice… and it fell into cold murky water. The Sea Doo bounced over the small waves and created new ones. For the first time out in the jungle and managed to give out a smile and a sigh of relief, they were actually leaving. He hoped to God that everybody else wasn’t dead.
CHAPTER 20: SOMETHING TO REALIZE
A stretcher rolled into the halls of the facility, on it was Greg Palmer, he was moaning softly. The wheels under the stretcher creaked and squeaked as Knox rolled him into the lab room.
“Dr. Kingsbury, how much morphine did you give, Greg?” Knox asked.
“Enough,” said Dr. Kingsbury, putting back incubators into a cabinet
“You sure? He’s saying a lot of freaky shit.”
Greg smacked his lips.
“Winnie the Pooh…hoo! Hey, Knox, you still there?” Greg said, smacking his lips again.
“Yes, Greg, I’m still here.”
“Come closer to me, put your ear up to my mouth.”
Dr. Kingsbury rolled his eyes and went to get a drink out of a near by coke machine. Knox simply stood there and said, “I’m at your mouth.”
“In the land of cotton, oh I’m not forgotten. You understand, what that means? It’s an honor.”
“Thanks for the words.”
“Is anybody using any more morphine?” Greg said with curiosity.
“No.”
“Well, then…” Greg lifted up his sleeve to his shoulder and smiled.

“You won’t believe this!” Drinnan yelled. He was sitting at the computer.
“What is it?” Kristen asked rolling her chair over next to him. She checked out the screen and witnessed a Sea Doo driving up the lake.
“According to this camera, it’s near to facility.”
Kristen cheered and jumped up and down. “That’s Baron and Kristen.” But she realized and sank down in sadness, “Poor Kyle. He must be dead.”
Colburn managed to take a little smile out to show respect. “Let’s get those gates opened for them.”
