Jack - Part 6

DANNY
You know Jack, don’t you, dad?
Mike paused and saw Jack throw his finger up and sway it.
MIKE
Yeah, I do!
JACK
Mike, how about we go in the car and go to your grandmother’s house. What you say?
Jack shows his sickle again.
MIKE
Ok, Jack!
He motions to everybody to the car.
They all follow Mike.
DANNY
What’s wrong, dad?
Mike doesn’t answer and simply gets into the car.
Jack gets in the front passenger seat.
JACK
(WHISPER) Don’t do any funny stuff.
Mike gets the keys. He starts the car up. He drives off onto the street.
Mike watches Jack closely!
MIKE
Like this?
Mike slams the breaks and Jack goes flying out the windshield.
MIKE
That’s why we have seat belts.
Danny and Jane are terrified.
DANNY
What did you do to him, dad?
Jack came up, but this time, with the jack o’ lantern head.
JACK
AHHHH!
Jack yells a terrifying yell. He then, goes over to the broken windshield.
Mike pulls out his gun and shoots him in the heart. Mike gets out of the car.
MIKE
Take Danny to your mother’s! Now!
We see Jane pull up to the drivers seat and the car drives off.
Mike keeps shooting the gun. And, finally, jack falls over…
Mike walks over to him. But, Jack gets back up and grabs Mike by the throat. Jack lifts him up.
JACK
I’m gonna knock out your brains, Mike!
Knock em’ out!
Mike punches his head. Jack lets go and Mike runs down the street.
EXT. CARNIVAL – NIGHT (HALLOWEEN 4:30 A.M.)
Ryan followed tire tracks from Mike’s car and then, Jon’s. He saw the PORTA JOHN and saw Jon with his head completely cut off.
Ryan turns the other direction and tears start to form from his eyes, and run down his cheek. The pain makes him remember all about how this started. He sees the scenes of him and mark and Jon and Mike talking about the killing of the kids. He then, sees the scene with him and Mark in the barn. Where Mark sees the sickle. Then, Ryan remembered the scene with seeing Mark’s dead body. Then, he sees the image of Jack with a jack o’ lantern head.
JACK
You’re next!
Then he sees the image of Jack in a police file.
RYAN
(WHISPER) It was him! (Yelling it now) It was him!
Behind Ryan, Jon gets up. We see Jon adjusting his head. Then, Ryan turns around.
JON
Hey Jon, what’s new? HA HA!
INT. POILICE STATION – NIGHT (HALLOWEEN 5:00 A.M.)
We see a light from a dark room in the station. Standing in the light was Mike in the doorway. We then, see Mike turn the lights off.
RYAN
Ahh!
We see Ryan fall off on the desks.
Mike sees him.
MIKE
Ryan?
Ryan gets up with a beer in his hand.
RYAN
Mike!
MIKE
Ryan, what happened?
Ryan gets to his feet and runs to him.
RYAN
Mike, listen to me. Jack came to me tonight.
Mike looks at him sharply.
RYAN
He told me to tell you… That he wants you… To play the game!
Mike gets confused.
RYAN (cont’d)
Oh, I need another drink!
Mike goes over to him.
MIKE
Ryan, Jack’s not going to let you off the easy.
Ryan gulps.
MIKE
Get out of here, come with me!
Ryan hesitates.
MIKE
Where’s your car?
Ryan follows him outside to his car.
As they get half way to the car out on the parking lot, Jack comes out the door.
RYAN
Mike, he’s here!
They both run like the wind. Mike gets to his car. They both go and open the doors and they get in.
Mike tries to start the car.
MIKE
Oh, no, not again!
Mike tries again.
RYAN
Come on.
Jack busts through the top roof windshield and grabs Ryan up on top of the car.
MIKE
