--Home Sweet Home-- The Conclusion

DAN
Come, on! Let’s get the HELL out of
here!
They ran up the steps fast and soon had found
themselves engulfed in darkness!
CUT TO:
105 INT. HALL – DARKNESS 105
They fetched around for a flash light. They were in
the laundry room, where they usually kept stuff
like that. DAN found it. It was sitting on a shelf
above the washer.
GABBY
You have it?
DAN
Yeah!
As he switched the light on the house began to
creek. Footsteps were heard from all directions.
DAN (cont’d)
Stay with me, honey! Stay with me
here!
She grabbed his arm and he lead the way through the
hall and to the kitchen.
SUDDENLY
Faces formed in front of their way. Faces with
blood splattered on them. Skeletons with eyeballs. Anything scary, they saw right before their eyes.
Gabby couldn’t take it. She pulled DAN to the den.
DAN
NO! NO! To the front door!
Something knocked him away from GABBY. They split up
in different directions. BUT THIS TIME…
THE HOUSE HAD THEM some where else.
CUT TO:
106 INT. BEDROOM – DARKNESS 106
GABBY found herself in her room again. PITCH BLACK surrounded her.
She couldn’t see a DAMN thing.
Then, she saw a flashlight ahead of her. She ran
towards it.
GABBY
DANNY!
DAN noticed her.
DAN
Gab!
He ran towards her and grabbed her hand. Pulling
her away from her room, he took her somewhere she
had never seen before. A room she had never stood
in.
GABBY
What are you doing?
He pulled her close to his body.
DAN
How ya doing?
He started to choke her.
GABBY
(Mumbled)
Danmmm mmmyy
IT WASN’T DAN!
CUT TO:
107 INT. DEN – DARKNESS 107
DAN heard her screams from far off.
DAN
GAB!
He ran up the steps.
CUT TO:
108 INT. ROOM – DARKNESS 108
As soon as he entered, the entity disappeared.
GABBY fell to the floor, grasping her neck.
DAN took her hand and led her down the steps.
109 INT. TO THE FRONT DOOR – DARKNESS 109
Moments later, he was at the front door, the house
shook constantly.
He gripped the door knob.
LOCKED!
GABBY
It’s locked. It’s locked.
He kept his hand around the knob and prayed softly
in his head.
The door UNLOCKED!
110 EXT. OUTSIDE – NIGHT 110
Their FEET skipped down the pathway to the driveway. GABBY and DAN jumped into the car.
GABBY
Come, DAN!
111 INT. CAR – NIGHT 111
He forced the key into the ignition. Twisting it,
he found the vehicle wouldn’t start.
DAN
You’ve got to be fricken kidding
me!
The lights in the house started to flicker.
Then, the red light came again.
From, room to room, it was coming to the front door
once again.
GABBY
Damn it! Work you stupid car.
The car started up as the door flew open. The red
light bounced off everything and then, a form
appeared to rush to the car.
DAN put the car in reverse and sped backwards off
the driveway.
It passed away from the bluish atmosphere and down
the road.
There seemed to be people the just appeared from
outside their homes, watching DAN and GABBY speed
away form their house.
The people then watched the house start to rock in forth. In horror, they go back in their own homes.
The vehicle sped away from the neighborhood.
GABBY laid her head on DAN’S shoulder. He did not respond, just kept his eyes on the road. He never
looked back. NEVER!
BACK TO 6 MONTHS LATER
112 INT. DARK ROOM WITH LIGHT – DARK 112
JERRY pressed the stop button the recorder.
JERRY
Your done, Dan. You may leave.
DAN jumped up to his feet and was leaving out the
door, when JERRY asked:
JERRY (cont’d)
How’s your wife, now?
DAN turned around facing him.
DAN
She’s pregnant.
JERRY
Staring over! That’s good to here!
DAN
You bet.
JERRY
But, whatever happened to the house?
DAN shuddered.
DAN
It disappeared!
FADE TO:
113 EXT. HOUSE – NIGHT 113
The SAME HOUSE we have been with through the whole ordeal is now on the side of a country road.
114 INT. BASEMENT – LIGHT 114
A woman dressed in nice cloths walked down the steps to the basement.
WOMAN
Hello? Anybody here?
Her voice echoed through the room.
She paced passed the ping pong table. A laugh, a little girl’s that is, is heard as she passes the table.
WOMAN
(Towards the storage room)
Hello???
She opened up the storage room.
NOTHING THERE!
She shrugged.
Then, as she turned to walk off, something grabbed
her through the door. The door closed violently.
The laugh of the little girl and the screams of the woman pierce the room. Blood splatters to the
ground from underneath the door.
As these noises fade, we watch as a CD is put into
a CD PLAYER by itself.
A Beach Boys song plays.
The song is titled “Don’t Worry Baby”.
As the song plays we
FADE TO:
115 EXT. HOUSE – NIGHT 115
The house stands still, and with one last greeting,
it glows red through the windows.
EVIL NEVER DIES!
