Slayer - Episode 4x20 - Ritual

Dac: Previously on Slayer...
Dac: It’s a go. Host – prepare your ritual.
Host: You do realize all humans will die.
DAC picked up a SYRINGE. He INJECTED A LIME GREEN SUBSTANCE INTO HIS ARM.
Dac: That’s okay…this is the essence of a Vampire. Strength and speed, and I can go into the sunlight.
Host: Wow.
Dac: And all of the Vampire’s we’ve captured, they’ve been injected with it. Two times the strength and speed, and no sunlight can kill them. They are my UberVamps.
Host: Brilliant.
Dac: No Slayer or Elite Task Force can stop us now.
THE BOYS combined hands locking in around MARTY.
Shane: A boy we once knew, a friend in which he grew. A trip to the past ended his life too fast. Upon return a memory loss turned him into a toss. Return to us his memory, of a life not so grim.
PURPLISH LIGHTS come from the BOYS HANDS circling around MARTY. SMOKE fills around him. ALL FOUR of the BOYS are KNOCKED BACKWARDS.
The BOYS SAT up.
JOEY’S VOICE came from RIVER’S MOUTH.
Anya: I’m here to warn you, but I still really need that book.
Ben: Warn me of what?
Anya: This Host guy.
Ben: You know about him?
Anya: Not very well.
Ben: What do you know?
Anya: In one week, he will begin a ritual to end the world. He’s been talking this up for sometime. That’s why his appearance here has thrown you off.
Ben: But what do we do to stop him?
Anya: Have you tried to fight him?
Ben: Several times.
Anya: Well a Slayer can’t stop him.
Ben: What can?
Anya: I don’t know. Honestly, I don’t. He’s a mythic legend. Something about a Ray of Light from The Light will terminate him.
Host: The Mayor hates rude kids.
Joey/River: And I hate mythological beings that can’t be destroyed. Do you see me crying about it?
SHANE/MARTY was silently muttering an incantation.
MAYOR BOB KLINE and the rest of the STUDENTS looked back at THE HOST, SHANE/MARTY and JOEY/RIVER. THE HOST put his arm around JOEY/RIVER smiling, giving a thumb up.
THE STUDENTS continued into the building.
THE HOST went to move, but he was stuck to the ground.
Host: What the hell?
JOEY/RIVER started to PUNCH THE HOST.
Para: Are the boys okay?
Ben: If being switched into each other’s bodies is okay, then yes.
Para: Rick called River’s phone and it cut off, they sensed it was a field trip and panicked.
River/Joey: They’ll run into the Host…It’s the Host and the Mayor. They’re the ones behind this.
TARA walked in behind PARA carrying bags of food. She looked at the somber room.
Tara: What’d I miss?
THE MAGIC BOX – SAME DAY
Ben: So wait a second. You’re saying Rick, Sam and the rest of The Elite are at City Hall?
Para: Yes, that’s where they saw The Host.
Ben: Why are you guys into finding The Host?
Para: He killed four of our troops, but the weird thing is, everyone is accounted for.
Ben: That makes no sense.
Para: Exactly.
PARA walked further in.
Tara: Wow. So I have missed a lot.
Mandy: Tara, we need to reverse this spell that Shane did.
Tara: Shane did a spell?
Shane/Marty: I thought I could handle it. I knew the spell but for some reason our energy just didn’t mesh so it switched our bodies.
Tara: That’s okay, well I mean, it’s not, you should’ve asked us first, but it’s okay.
River/Joey: The sooner this can be undone, the sooner we can all go together and stop this. Like I said, we found books on The Host and his ritual.
Ben: Yes, Tara, Mandy do the spell and restore them.
MANDY walked out from behind the COUNTER and TARA stood at her face. The TWO witches placed their palms on each others. As they chanted an incantation in Latin, the boys began to glow and before they knew it were back in their own bodies.
RIVER, SHANE, MARTY and JOEY looked at themselves, but an ENRAGED JOEY yells at RIVER…
Joey: What in the hell did you do to my fingernails?!
JOEY should his fingernails, which were painted in all sorts of different colors.
River: Oh…um, I tripped.
Joey: I’ll show you tripped, you dill weed.
JOEY started to RUN after RIVER, but PARA grabbed JOEY and stopped him.
Para: Now is not the time to do this.
Joey: How do I get this stuff off?
SHANE waved his hand and JOEY’S FINGERNAILS returned to the normal way.
Tara: Not bad. See, you can do some things, but when it comes to bigger spells, let Mandy and I help you.
RYAN stood up.
Ryan: Okay, can we focus here? The Elite are about to take down City Hall, and we don’t even know anything about it. River brought us some books about The Host and his ritual, so I say we work on figuring this out.
Ben: Anya said something about it happening in two weeks.
Mandy: Lunar Alignment.
Ben: What?
Mandy: The moon will align itself with a few planets, but not like an eclipse.
Ben: Okay. Ryan, Joey and Falcon start researching this ritual. Tara, Mandy and Shane work on some kind of big mojo we can throw at him. River and Majestic, we’ll patrol.
Para: What about me?
BEN looked over at her.
Ben: I thought you choose your side.
Para: They don’t need me right now. It’s a simple investigation. What can I do to help?
Ben: Uh….you could come with us.
Para: Its mid-day, it’s too early to patrol.
Ben: We’re going to the High School and getting some of Brad’s stuff from the Library.
CHARGER CITY – MAYORS OFFICE
BOB KLINE sat in his chair with THE HOST looking down at him from the other side.
Bob: I know how you feel, but listen; we have 2 weeks before we can even touch them.
Host: They were here. Only the one that I beat at the Slayer’s house, he wasn’t himself. He was cockier.
Bob: The Slayer will play his role in this. I know what will happen.
Host: How?
Bob: I can foresee everything.
Host: Really?
DAC walked into the office.
Dac: Yes you nimrod. He’s like the Emperor from Star Wars.
Host: Kind of fitting – Good wholesome Mayor by day, Evil demonic ruler of by night.
Dac: You’re catching on now, aren’t you?
Host: What’s up your ass?
Dac: Oh nothing.
Bob: Yes, Dac. You are being, well more ruthless than normal.
Dac: That’s because I have developed the ultimate plan.
Bob: Go on.
Dac: The Slayer hates anything demonic, right?
Bob: Not really.
Dac: How do you figure?
Bob: He’s got that vampire working with him.
Dac: Or does he?
Bob: Very intriguing. Keep going.
Dac: When we captured Falcon Glick last year, we restored his soul. We can also remove that soul – turning him against The Slayer, right when he needs him.
Bob: Dac! That’s incredible!
THE HOST glared at DAC. DAC observed the glare.
Dac: Don’t you have a ritual to prepare for?
Host: Don’t rush me.
THE HOST stormed out of the OFFICE. DAC followed behind.
OPENING CREDITS
A Zoom in of Charger City at night. “SLAYER” appears in red text.
BEN ran past the DRUMLINE. He took one of the DRUMMER’S sticks and BROKE it across the DRUM. He started running towards the VAMPIRES and staking them left and right. [Starring Ben] BEN, BECKY, and ICE attack dozens of DEMONS.
BRAD throws an AXE in a GRAVEYARD, missing the VAMPIRE, but sending it the other direction.
PARA throws a blue glowing orb at a DEMON. She dances with BEN at a NIGHT CLUB. PARA and BECKY roll on the ground, PULLING each other’s hair. [Para girl] PARA looks at a map with RICK.
SHANE and MARTY swing BASEBALL BATS at a HUGE SCALY DEMON.
RIVER picks up a desk and throws it at the window. The DESK shatters the window. RIVER runs at a wall of lockers and flip kicks himself over a bully. [Jedi A. Malcolm] VAMPIRES surround RIVER, he spins around with a sword, decapitating them all as they turn to dust.
ROWS of TOMBSTONES start to shake. The ground starts to rumble. HANDS fly up from GRAVES. VAMPIRES pull themselves out. They all walk towards a CRYPT. They open the door and file in. A passage way allows them to gain access to an underworld.
TARA looks through her books of spells. TARA kisses MANDY on the lips. [JP3 Girl] TARA’S body splits in too DARK MAGIC and LIGHT MAGIC. TARA’S eyes started to change into different colors.
RICK, BRAD and FALCON GLICK walked through the graveyard. RICK carried an AXE, BRAD carried a CROSSBOW and FALCON carried a SWORD.
RICK spars in a ring with BEN. RICK pulls his crossbow out and fires. RICK thrusts his ARM out at an oncoming VAMPIRE. The VAMPIRE turns to dust as a WOODEN STAKE goes back into RICK’S sleeve. [Rick Arnold] Rick embraces SAMANTHA.
RYAN spars with BEN. [Dark Hunter as Ryan] RYAN’S CELL PHONE started to ring. RYAN pulled it off the waist of his belt. He threw the phone up in the air. He pulled a gun from inside his COAT. He OPENED FIRE on the falling CELL PHONE. The PHONE gave a small explosion. RYAN got in his CAR and sped off. RYAN throws a VAMPIRE into a BONFIRE.
THE HEAD of the DEMON rose up to FALCON. FALCON pulled his sword back and sliced the HEAD in HALF.
BRAD blows a dust which begins to GLISTEN in mid air. BRAD stands on a stage holding a microphone. BRAD and RICK looked at each other and sighed. [And Brad as Bradley Giles] BRAD and DAC engage in a sword fight.
BEN and RIVER walk the streets of CHARGER CITY with their BLACK coats flapping in the wind as if they were capes. PARA, RICK, and SAM fall in behind them FULLY ARMED. TARA and MANDY fall in behind them with SHANE, MARTY, JOEY and FALCON.
LONDON, ENGLAND
THE WATCHER’S COUNCIL BUILDING – MEETING ROOM
[Special Guest Star Mandee as Mandy]
Several WATCHERS sat at a large square table, with MALCOLM and DAN on the opposing ends. BRADLEY GILES stood up, discussing matters at hand.
Brad: …that is why I feel the need that we go to Charger City and assist the Slayer.
MANY of the WATCHERS nodded their heads.
[Special Guest Star Dac as General Dac Armstrong]
[Special Guest Star The Host]
Malcolm: Have you even talked to your cousin, Mr. Giles?
Brad: Yes. I talked to Rupert last week as a matter of fact. He is very busy in Sunnydale right now.
Malcolm: Do you know why?
Brad: The First Evil has declared war on the line of the Chosen Vampire Slayers. That doesn’t affect Ben. He’s a Flooder Slayer.
Malcolm: Oh, but it does.
Brad: How so?
[Guest Starring Labyrinth as Falcon]
DAN stood up.
Dan: The elder Watchers felt that one day something like this would happen, and the Chosen Line would be vulnerable. That’s why they created the Flooder Slayer. Flooders are nothing more than Vampires.
Brad: But Charger City – there are no flooders, it’s all Vampires and Demons.
Dan: Rightfully so, Ben knows how to handle them as well – and can handle them like Buffy or Faith.
Brad: But the Chosen Line is weak because of Buffy being back from the dead…twice.
Dan: Correct.
Brad: Then the Flooder Slayer line is the same. Ben has died and came back twice as well.
Dan: The First Evil doesn’t know we exist. Not yet anyway. We are the last hope if something happens to Buffy or Faith.
Malcolm: And you want us to go and help the Slayer stop a war between The Elite, which mind you has refused to surface to us.
Brad: What if I can promise you anything you wanted to know about The Elite?
[Aragorn as Shane]

[PunkNerd as Joey Russo]
MALCOLM looked at BRAD.
Malcolm: I’d say we could make a trip to Charger City.
CHARGER CITY GRAVEYARD – EVENING
BEN and MAJESTIC fought BACK to BACK while PARA and RIVER fought with DEMONS on opposite ends of each other.
The DEMON RIVER fought had very white skin and long floppy ears. The DEMON threw his arms at RIVER, but RIVER blocked and retaliated with a FLIP-KICK to the DEMON’S CHIN, sending him backwards.
[SamFan as Samantha / Sam]
[JesterP as Lieutenant Jester Pocus]
BEN and MAJESTIC simultaneously STAKED VAMPIRES.
PARA was being pushed down by the DEMON, but she fought back and GRABBED the DEMON by the NECK, twisting its neck – killing it.
DAC arose from UNDERNEATH a CRYPT.
Dac: Very good, Slayer.
BEN, MAJESTIC, PARA and RIVER stood together, facing the horrible DAC.
[Majestic1 as Majestic]
[Dan as Dan Finkelstein]
[Malcolm_Admin as Malcolm]
Para: You son of a B-
Dac: Now, now Para. I don’t want to start the killing early.
Para: Just give me two minutes with you…
Dac: Are you really that fast?
PARA glared.
[Episode Written and Directed by Ben Smythe]
Dac: I should’ve asked before I had The Host impersonate you for Ben. Or maybe I could’ve asked Ben. Was it good for you too?
Ben: You just give me a reason why I shouldn’t kill you.
Dac: Because I’m human.
Ben: That’s funny, I’m not usually triggered by a Human the same way a Demon triggers my “Slayer-Sense.”
DAC looked around, maybe for a possible escape.
Dac: You haven’t seen the last of me, Slayer.
DAC started to backup.
RIVER stepped forward.
River: Very good Dac. Just remember – I’m not working for you. So don’t ever say that again.
Dac: Host?
BEN, MAJESITC and PARA looked at RIVER. RIVER winked at them – calling DAC’S bluff.
RIVER walked over to DAC.
Dac: I thought you had a ritual to prepare for.
River: Well, you see, I need your help actually.
Dac: You do?
River: I’m very confused on the entire thing. I just don’t understand it anymore. I know, I know. I’ve been hyping this thing up for over 1200 years, but hey – a guy can forget, right?
Dac: Sure. It happens to me all the time.
DAC and RIVER now stood side by side.
RIVER extended his hand –
River: Friends?
DAC, very excited, extends – but RIVER was too fast and punched him across the FACE, knocking him cold to the ground.
Ben: River – is that you?
River: Yes. I had to play his bluff. Help me guys.
Para: Wait, wait, wait.
PARA ran at DAC’S BODY and performed a VERY POWERFUL ELBOW DROP.
PARA continued kicking at DAC’S BODY. RIVER pulled PARA away, taking a few kicks to the leg.
MAJESTIC and BEN carried DAC.
Ben: Where should we take him?
Para: To Rick.
Ben: No, we could use him to lure The Host.
Para: Rick would be more sensible.
Ben: I’m not going to argue with you about this – he’s going to The Magic Box as a set-up. Rick can take him after we’re done.
BEN and MAJESTIC continued carrying DAC as RIVER and PARA followed behind.
THE ELITE HEADQUARTERS
RICK and SAMANTHA walk into their office.
Rick: Well that was a bust and a waste of time. But it was good to see Bob.
Sam: You haven’t seen him for a long time, eh?
Rick: Yeah. Too long.
Sam: You don’t suspect anything, then?
Rick: I always suspect, but it’s like being one to assume.
Sam: Ah yes, the “to assume makes an ass out of ‘u’ and ‘me.’”
Rick: Yes.
SAMANTHA looked worried.
Sam: What if we don’t make it?
Rick: We’ll make it just fine. I mean come on. It’s just Dac.
Sam: But Ben is fighting The Host, and I’ve had access to many books about him in the past few days and there is no known way on how to kill him.
Rick: Ben will find a way. He’s resourceful like that.
PARA appeared on the video wall.
Para: Rick – Ben and Majestic have captured Dac. They are holding him ransom at The Magic Box. Hurry. You might be able to persuade Ben to let us have him.
Rick: We’re on our way.
SAM and RICK darted out of the office…again.
CHARGER CITY – NIGHT TIME
HELL’S PEAK –
THE HOST stood at the base of the peak, looking up at it.
BOB KLINE appeared from behind him.
Bob: You do know that in the end it will be just you and me.
Host: What will happen to Dac?
Bob: I haven’t seen that yet.
Host: He was actually becoming quite evil.
Bob: I know.
Host: What if Ben stops the ritual?
Bob: It will be okay. I’d personally like to kill two birds with one stone, as I’ll be heading into the demon realm shortly, so none of this will affect me.
Host: Sir, I wish you luck and will see you soon.
Bob: Same to you.
BOB teleported.
THE HOST walked off towards DAC’S WAREHOUSE
THE MAGIC BOX
BEN and MAJESTIC toting a passed out DAC walk in, throwing DAC on the ground.
Ben: Tie him to a chair.
Ryan: Don’t you think bondage is a out of the question, I mean, he deserves torture but –
Ben: Ryan, not now.
Ryan: Sorry.
FALCON brought forward some rope from the backroom and tied DAC to a chair.
DAC started to wake up a little bit, disoriented.
RICK and SAM flew open the door of the MAGIC BOX and ran inside.
Rick: Where is he?
Ben: Who?
Rick: Where is Dac?
Ben: He is right here, but he is not going with you…yet.
Rick: What do you mean, yet?
Ben: We need to find out what we can about this ritual The Host is about to perform.
Sam: Rick, be patient.
Ben: How did you know we had Dac anyway?
Para: Sorry, but I couldn’t let this opportunity pass.
Host: That’s okay…
THE HOST stood in the DOORWAY – and it was very easy to see that DOZENS of DAC’S TROOPS were waiting to attack.
Host: But I don’t think you’ll be holding him much longer.
Ben: You remember the last time what happened when we fought, don’t you?
Host: As I recall you had to use magic – a power you can’t control to stop me.
Ben: Oh, you’ll see my magic, I promise you that. You’ll wish you’d never met me.
Host: Making threats, eh Slayer?
FALCON, JOEY, RIVER, MARTY and RYAN went to the WEAPONS CABINET and started arming themselves.
Host: Don’t bother boys…Oh, and is that Falcon Glick?
Dac: Yes, Host, I think it is.
DAC and THE HOST locked on to each other’s power and started a chant.
Ben: What are they doing?
Tara: Some sort of a mystic chant – I can’t decipher it.
FALCON fell to his knees, grabbing at his chest – screaming pain. THE HOST pushed his arm forward and a LIGHT BLUE BEAM of ENERGY flew from his hand to FALCON. After a few seconds of hovering above FALCON, the BEAM turned RED and flew back to THE HOST.
Host: Let’s just see how good a Vampire can be.
FALCON leapt to his feet – with a VAMPIRE FACE.
BEN and RICK rushed at FALCON, going to push him down, but FALCON threw his arms at both of them – throwing them backwards.
Falcon: The king is back.
Host: Glick, remove Dac
TARA and MANDY tried to rush in on FALCON, but FALCON just looked at them and they turned away.
FALCON untied DAC. PARA leg swept DAC as he ran towards THE HOST. SAM started throwing punches at FALCON, and they were connecting, but had no effect on FALCON. FALCON grabbed SAM by the shoulders and attempted to bite her neck.
RYAN pulled FALCON by the shoulders, and as they flew to the ground, RYAN pushed FALCON’S body off of his – flipping him backwards.
DAC and THE HOST made their getaway.
SHANE’S EYES were black as he started to do an incantation.
JOEY looked at him.
Joey: Oh no! He’s going to do another spell!
JOEY started to run away – but SHANE’S SPELL worked – everything went into SLOW MOTION and a HUGE burst of white light flew throughout CHARGER CITY.
THE MAGIC BOX
BEN and MAJESTIC toting a passed out DAC walk in, throwing DAC on the ground.
Ben: Tie him to a chair.
Ryan: Don’t you think bondage is a out of the question, I mean, he deserves torture but –
Ben: Ryan, not now.
Ryan: Sorry.
FALCON brought forward some rope from the backroom and tied DAC to a chair.
DAC started to wake up a little bit, disoriented.
Shane: Get rid of him now!
Ben: Why?
Shane: The Host will be here any second and bad things will happen.
Ben: Like what?
Shane: The Host and Dac set us up…
Ben: How do you know this?
Shane: I just did a spell – and it worked, I guess, for me it didn’t but oh well.
Tara: What kind of spell.
Shane: Time’s White Light Black Out.
Tara: You made the entire city forget the entire day?
Shane: No, I set it for a half-an hour.
Tara: Still! These people have no memory of what just happened.
Shane: I know.
Ben: What is the Host going to do?
Shane: Remove Falcon’s soul, and, uh, Falcon kills Majestic, Dac, and uh, Marty.
Falcon: River, lock me in the cage in the back.
RIVER and FALCON walked to the back.
Shane: Rick and Sam should’ve been here by now…
THE ELITE HEADQUARTERS
RICK and SAM stand making out with each other.
Rick: Weren’t we supposed to do something?
Sam: I can’t remember.
Rick: Let’s just do this – who knows if we’ll get to do it again.
HELL’S PEAK
THE HOST stands at the bottom, looking up.
BOB KLINE appears from behind him.
Bob: They have a pretty powerful witch – one that can alter memories and time.
Host: They still have Dac.
Bob: Go by yourself. Don’t take any troops, and forget about removing the Vampire’s soul.
Host: Yes sir.
Bob: And by the time this is all done tonight – it will have started.
THE MAGIC BOX
THE DOOR flew off the hinges and THE HOST stormed in.
BEN, PARA, MAJESTIC and RIVER tried punching him, but he had a mystical force field around him.
Host: You fools. Don’t you realize how close it is to the end? The Powers That Be selected me and gave me protection. Back off.
As if saying “Back Off” were a chant – BEN, PARA, MAJESTIC and RIVER all flew backwards.
THE HOST, picked up DAC in the CHAIR and they teleported out of the MAGIC BOX.
THE SCRAPPY GANG rushed outside – as they could see that the MOON was now in a total eclipse.
Ben: We only have a few more minutes…get to my house and let’s prepare for the longest night of our lives.
