Slayer - Episode 4x18 - Downward Sprial

“4x18 – Patrol”
CHARGER CITY GRAVEYARD
RIVER chased after THE SAME VAMPIRE that had just rose. SHANE and MARTY followed behind him as JOEY trailed a few feet behind SHANE and MARTY.
As they were running –
River: Gee! Rick picked the worst time to leave!
Joey: Come on Summers – you almost beat me for running back, let’s catch this sucker and kill it!
The VAMPIRE turned into DUST. RIVER and his CREW came to a screeching HAULT.
DAC stood before them, tossing a WOODEN STAKE in his hands.
Dac: River…where’s big brother?
River: Preparing for your ridiculous war.
Dac: Oh?
River: Yeah…so someone else has to patrol, and it might as well be me.
Dac: Yes…why not it be you? After all, you’re the same…you and him that is.
River: What do you mean?
Dac: Don’t you remember who you are?
River: I’m River Summers, high school student.
Dac: No…before that. You were never meant to be a human. You are The Light. A mythical key, an essence. You hold great power inside your body.
River: But whatever needed to be done with me as The Key failed. Ben saved me.
Dac: Then. Where is he to save you now? You see, The Key can unlock so many OTHER things.
River: What do you mean?
Dac: You’ll see…
RIVER’S eyes got wide.
River: Joey, run back to my house…fast as you can. NOW!
JOEY took off at top speed.
DAC pulled a SMOKE CANISTER from his BELT. He threw it at the guys and SMOKE filled all around the guys, knocking them out and down to the ground.
Dac: G1 to Pickup – I have The Key, and two extras…
THE HOST stood up from behind a TOMBSTONE.
Host: Dac, you idiot – I am right here.
Dac: Oh.
END
OPENING CREDITS
A Zoom in of Charger City at night. “SLAYER” appears in red text.
BEN ran past the DRUMLINE. He took one of the DRUMMER’S sticks and BROKE it across the DRUM. He started running towards the VAMPIRES and staking them left and right. [Starring Ben] BEN, BECKY, and ICE attack dozens of DEMONS.
BRAD throws an AXE in a GRAVEYARD, missing the VAMPIRE, but sending it the other direction.
PARA throws a blue glowing orb at a DEMON. She dances with BEN at a NIGHT CLUB. PARA and BECKY roll on the ground, PULLING each other’s hair. [Para girl] PARA looks at a map with RICK.
SHANE and MARTY swing BASEBALL BATS at a HUGE SCALY DEMON.
RIVER picks up a desk and throws it at the window. The DESK shatters the window. RIVER runs at a wall of lockers and flip kicks himself over a bully. [Jedi A. Malcolm] VAMPIRES surround RIVER, he spins around with a sword, decapitating them all as they turn to dust.
ROWS of TOMBSTONES start to shake. The ground starts to rumble. HANDS fly up from GRAVES. VAMPIRES pull themselves out. They all walk towards a CRYPT. They open the door and file in. A passage way allows them to gain access to an underworld.
TARA looks through her books of spells. TARA kisses MANDY on the lips. [JP3 Girl] TARA’S body splits in too DARK MAGIC and LIGHT MAGIC. TARA’S eyes started to change into different colors.
RICK, BRAD and FALCON GLICK walked through the graveyard. RICK carried an AXE, BRAD carried a CROSSBOW and FALCON carried a SWORD.
RICK spars in a ring with BEN. RICK pulls his crossbow out and fires. RICK thrusts his ARM out at an oncoming VAMPIRE. The VAMPIRE turns to dust as a WOODEN STAKE goes back into RICK’S sleeve. [Rick Arnold] Rick embraces SAMANTHA.
RYAN spars with BEN. [Dark Hunter as Ryan] RYAN’S CELL PHONE started to ring. RYAN pulled it off the waist of his belt. He threw the phone up in the air. He pulled a gun from inside his COAT. He OPENED FIRE on the falling CELL PHONE. The PHONE gave a small explosion. RYAN got in his CAR and sped off. RYAN throws a VAMPIRE into a BONFIRE.
THE HEAD of the DEMON rose up to FALCON. FALCON pulled his sword back and sliced the HEAD in HALF.
BRAD blows a dust which begins to GLISTEN in mid air. BRAD stands on a stage holding a microphone. BRAD and RICK looked at each other and sighed. [And Brad as Bradley Giles] BRAD and DAC engage in a sword fight.
BEN and RIVER walk the streets of CHARGER CITY with their BLACK coats flapping in the wind as if they were capes. PARA, RICK, and SAM fall in behind them FULLY ARMED. TARA and MANDY fall in behind them with SHANE, MARTY, JOEY and FALCON.
COMMERCIAL
BEN’S HOUSE
BEN looked through a book, while TARA and MANDY searched over the computer. FALCON looked through a book as well.
BEN glanced around, noticing there were only 4 of them.
[Special Guest Star Mandee as Mandy]
Ben: Boy…this research is getting done not fast at all.
Mandy: Where are boys? Shouldn’t they be back from patrolling by now?
Ben: Maybe they found something.
Falcon: I honestly don’t know what’s worse – researching on a being that is now as powerful as a God or looking ahead to the oncoming war between what’s his face and your friends.
Tara: I have to agree with Falcon on that one. We aren’t finding anything on The Host. No weaknesses or anything. We need Brad.
Ben: Yes we do…we need Brad, River, Marty, Shane, that other boy, and Ryan…
TARA looked up at BEN.
[Special Guest Star Dac as General Dac Armstrong]
[Special Guest Star The Host]
Ben: What are you going to do when he gets back into the swing of things for the gang?
Tara: Tell him how things are. I’m not the one who ran away.
Ben: I’m not accusing, I’m just asking how you guys are going to handle it.
Tara: I’ll handle it fine. I love him as a friend, but I’m gay…I’m not bi, or straight. I’m gay. 100%. I’m in love with Mandy and nothing can change that.
Ben: That’s good…
BEN started to get TEARY EYED.
Ben: …I’m glad someone can have a lasting relationship…
Falcon: Snap out of it, Slayer. You’ll only get yourself depressed again.
Tara: Ben, she didn’t leave the relationship, well she did, but uh for a good purpose.
Ben: …not helping, Tara.
Tara: Sorry. So what happened after the small attack?
Ben: We had our words and left.
Tara: Kind of upset about the whole you sleeping with the Host thing still, huh?
Ben: Can we not talk about that? Besides – how was I supposed to know?
The FRONT DOOR flew open, JOEY continued RUNNING into the house. FALCON caught him.
[Guest Starring Labyrinth as Falcon]
Falcon: Why the fast pace?
AN out of breath JOEY responds,
Joey: A…corporal…military guy…kidnapped them…something about…River being…the key?
BEN’S eyes were wide. He had no expression on his face.
[Aragorn as Shane]
[JP Junkee as Marty]
[PunkNerd as Joey Russo]
Tara: Oh no…River, Shane and Marty were captured?
Joey: Yes.
Tara: Okay, it’ll be okay, we’ll get them back.
Ben: I’ll kill him.
BEN got up from his research seat and walked over to his WEAPONS CHEST. He pulled out an AXE and attached a SWORD to his BELT. He picked up the CROSSBOW that had a neck strap, and strapped it onto his shoulder. He put the QUIVER of CROSSBOW BOLTS on to his belt.
[SamFan as Samantha / Sam]
[JesterP as Lieutenant Jester Pocus]
Mandy: Ben?
Ben: I will tear him limb from limb.
Tara: He’s human.
Ben: And I’m the Slayer.
BEN walked towards the OPENED DOOR. FALCON stepped in his way.
Ben: Stay out of my way, Falcon.
Falcon: A Slayer isn’t a killer.
Ben: And what would you know about being a Slayer? Being a Slayer is something you could never conceive…you’re just a Vampire with a soul…trying to help the good fight because you don’t want me to kill you.
Falcon: Let’s remember, yes I came to you first, but who came to me when you needed help?
Ben: Get out of the way.
[Majestic1 as Majestic]
Falcon: You can’t take him down alone.
Ben: Well then if you’re going to help, get a weapon and keep up with me.
Tara: Do you want our help?
Ben: I need everyone on board to get him back.
Joey: Them.
Ben: What?
Joey: There are two other ones…not that I really care about them, but still.
Ben: Grab weapons, spell books, whatever you need. Let’s go.
BEN and FALCON led the way, as JOEY dashed into the WEAPONS CHEST, GRABBING two SWORDS. MANDY and TARA walked out behind FALCON and BEN, JOEY followed behind the TWO WITCHES, closing the door.
[Icebreaker as Ice]
[Beck-Why as Becky]
BECKY and ICE appeared in the house.
Ice: He’s going to get himself killed. Becky, we have to help.
Becky: I know. Follow me to Dac’s warehouse. We’ll stall as many of his troops that we can, leaving it to Ben to save River and his friends.
BECKY and ICE teleported out of the HOUSE.
DAC’S WAREHOUSE
DAC stood before a cage, where RIVER, MARTY and SHANE were locked in.
The BOYS had already come back to their senses from the smoke bomb.
River: You won’t win, Dac.
Dac: And why is that young one?
River: You’re too stupid.
Dac: And how is that?
RIVER clapped his hands with laughter. The CLAP alerted SHANE. SHANE placed his hand in the air, using magic he started wriggling the keys from DAC’S waist so he doesn’t notice.
River: You lock me up here, you have to know that Ben will find me.
Dac: Oh, I’m counting on it, but when he finds you, you’ll already be dead.
River: You can’t kill me.
Dac: Oh I think you’ll find out very soon that I can.
BEN walked in the doorway.
River: Ben! Take him out!
BEN pushed DAC down to the ground.
Ben: River! Are you okay?
River: I’ve been better.
Ben: Good, stand back.
River: Why?
BEN clinched his stomach.
BEN morphed into THE HOST.
Host: You humans are a truly pathetic wasted race.
DAC stood up.
Dac: Oh, River, this my new associate. His name is The Host. He can take the form of anyone, at anytime, anywhere. When he set that spell to capture you all in the past, we went looking for a mystic ruby and we found it. The Host is now quite able to withstand a Slayer.
“4x18 – Saving River”
A HATCH opened from the roof. RIVER and the BOYS saw it, but DAC and the HOST didn’t.
ICE and BECKY floated down, but staying out of sight.
Dac: Actually, A Slayer would be stupid to touch him. The Host is the most powerful thing Charger City has ever seen. No one can touch him.
Becky: Mind if I take him up on that offer?
The HOST and DAC looked up and saw BECKY and ICE floating around.
Dac: Well, I haven’t seen you two in a while.
Ice: It’s nice to be missed.
Dac: I didn’t say I missed you.
Ice: You’ll see what I mean in a second.
BECKY floated down towards the HOST at a fast rate. She and the HOST connected with each other. The HOST flew through the wall.
DAC pulled his BLASTER and shot at ICE. The BOLT missed ICE.
Ice: Told you so.
ICE threw his hands down at DAC, freezing his FEET to the GROUND.
ICE landed and walked towards the CAGE.
Ice: Listen, when I say jump, Jump as high as you can and don’t touch anything in that cage.
ICE placed his hands near two bars of the CAGE.
Ice: Jump!
The Boys JUMPED and ICE put his hands on the cage and it froze.
The BOYS landed and were fine.
ICE kicked down the FROZEN DOOR.
ROOFTOP of WAREHOUSE
Ben: Falcon and I will go down this hatch and start looking. Tara, Mandy and Joey you two go to the front. Take out anything in your way.
Tara: Okay.
BEN jumped down the HATCH, followed by FALCON.
The TWO landed right in the SAME ROOM as ICE, and the BOYS – but they had already gone.
BEN looked at the frozen cage.
Ben: Ice and Becky are here…they know.
BEN looked at DAC as he was frozen in his place.
BEN looked at DAC evilly.
Ben: You didn’t think I’d find you, did you.
Dac: I actually anticipated you-
END(if it hasn’t already)
FALCON covered DAC’S MOUTH.
Falcon: Now tell us why you captured River.
Dac: mff-mfffy-mff-mph.
Ben: What?
Dac: mff-mfff-ahao-ayo-mff.
Ben: Falcon, move your hand.
Falcon: Oh, sorry.
Dac: The Host needed the Key.
Ben: And why did you capture him?
Dac: He’s my associate.
Ben: But you had to capture him. When you think about it, that kind of puts your job into question, don’t you think?
Dac: …no…yes.
Ben: You see Dac, I never had a problem with you. You want to take out The Elite, hey, that’s your deal, not mine. But when you bring me and my brother into it, then you’ve crossed a line.
Dac: I’m freezing.
Ben: That’s Ice’s work. Pretty soon it will work the way up the rest of your body. He hasn’t mastered his skill yet.
Dac: Ben, get me out of here please!
BEN punched DAC right in the FACE. DAC was knocked out unconscious.
Falcon: What was that for?
Ben: He needed to be knocked out for what I’m going to do next.
BEN kicked DAC in the CHEST…HARD. DAC’S BODY flew through a wall and out of the ICE.
Falcon: Damn! Then again, I’ve suffered your wrath before, and it’s not pretty.
Ben: We have to find River.
WAREHOUSE MAIN ROOM
“4x18 – Chosen Two/Fighting The Host”
TARA, MANDY and JOEY ran in. TARA and MANDY pushed the DEMONS back with magic, as JOEY sliced any that came in too close.
SHANE led RIVER and MARTY through the opposite end, towards TARA, MANDY and JOEY.
THE HOST got back up and saw BEN and FALCON looking around.
The HOST threw a BALL of ENGERGY from his hand at BEN and FALCON sending them into a DOOR. The BOTH LANDED with a THUD.
Host: How sad this is…you’re locked in here with me, and thousands of Dac’s troops, which they are actually quite prepared for you. The only thing is, a neutered vampire and a Slayer can’t stop me.
The SOUND of GUNS BEING LOADED make THE HOST turn around.
RYAN stepped forward – with a very long black coat. His attempt at a Dark Cowboy was fulfilled with his black COWBOY HAT. RYAN held his two GUNS aimed at THE HOST.
Host: Guns can’t kill me.
THE HOST was met with a FLYING KICK from another figure all in BLACK. MAJESTIC stood tall, pacing himself. THE HOST flew through a wall.
BEN and FALCON got up. The FOUR regrouped with each other looking at the HOST.
Ben: Falcon and Ryan regroup outside with the others. Majestic and I can finish this.
Falcon: You need my help.
Ben: Falcon – LEAVE!
FALCON and RYAN took off, looking back.
BEN and MAJESTIC – The CHOSEN TWO were standing face to face against a being so powerful they could even sense each others fear in trying to kill it.
Host: So there are Two Slayers? How is this?
Ben: I died.
Host: And you just got better?
Ben: Sort of.
Majestic: You won’t leave this warehouse.
Host: Well I guess we have something in common.
BEN’S EYES got WIDE.
Majestic: And that would be?
Ben: [In a deep mocking voice] neither will you…
Majestic: Ben, can you focus on this, please?
Ben: Oh, sure.
Majestic: Seriously – Ben, we can stop all this now.
Host: Come on…let’s just fight.
THE HOST rushed at both of the SLAYERS. BEN and MAJESTIC both lifted their LEGS and the HOST was knocked BACKWARDS.
BEN and MAJESTIC walked together towards the HOST. MAJESTIC grabbed THE HOST by THE NECK. BEN started to PUNCH the BACK of THE HOST’S SKULL repeatedly.
THE HOST flung his HEAD into MAJESTICS HEAD, knocking him down. The HOST retaliated at BEN with a FLIP-KICK. BEN flew backwards. THE HOST picked up MAJESTIC with ease and threw him at BEN. BEN leapt up to his feet, CATCHING MAJESTIC with the same amount of ease and carried him in his side. MAJESTIC was now a HUMAN-BATTERING RAM. BEN CHARGED at the HOST with MAJESTIC as a weapon. THE HOST flew through the wall and landed right next to RIVER in the OTHER ROOM.
RIVER performed a SPIN KICK with ease, knocking the HOST to the ground.
River: Joey! A weapon – fast!
JOEY flung a wooden stake at RIVER. RIVER caught it and PLUNGED it into THE HOST.
Host: That won’t kill me.
RIVER leapt on the STAKE as it now went into the GROUND.
River: No – but you won’t be able to move any time soon.
BEN and MAJESTIC ran out by RIVER. The THREE of them ran out of DAC’S WAREHOUSE.
END (if it hasn’t already)
BEN looked at RIVER.
Ben: I thought I’d lost you.
River: I didn’t even think you’d notice.
Ben: Of course I notice. River, you are everything I fight for. Everything I live and breathe for. I love you. You are my brother. I will protect you. And if it got down to it – that is the last thing I would want you to ever see.
River: What?
Ben: I would want you to see me die for you. Because I would.
BEN and RIVER hugged.
Ben: I think we should get you home…as well for Marty – he needs rest.
Marty: Who are you guys?
THE GANG looked at MARTY.
Marty: Who are you people? Seriously. Why were you two carrying me and putting me on someone’s front yard?
River: He has no memory of anything.
Tara: I figured this would happen. Mandy and I will have to find a spell to restore his memory.
MARTY looked at RIVER.
Marty: Can I stay with you? I know your face – and I know you’ve helped me before.
River: Sure. You can stay with me. I’m River Summers.
Falcon: You guys are best friends, well, were best friends. But you don’t remember any of that.
River: Thank you, Captain Obvious.
TARA and MANDY started to walk off towards their house. FALCON left for the GRAVEYARD. RYAN looked at TARA.
Ryan: Majestic, I’ll be home later. Just let yourself in.
Majestic: Yeah, I think I’m going to go to Ben’s. We have some research to do on The Host.
Ryan: Okay. [To TARA] Tara, wait up.
RYAN ran off after TARA.
Tara: Yes?
Ryan: Can we talk?
Tara: Sure. It’s a bit of a walk.
RYAN, TARA, and MANDY walked off. BEN, MAJESTIC, RIVER, FALCON and MARTY all walked back to BEN’S HOUSE.
MOMMENTS LATER…
“Big Bad’s Arrival”
A WELL DRESSED MAN walked throughout the WAREHOUSE. Looking at many of the dead demons on the ground. He found DAC lying on the ground UNCONCIOUS. He pulled DAC up.
Man: Come on, Dac. Snap out of it.
DAC started to come around, only he didn’t look the same. He looked less evil.
Dac: Get away from me!
Man: Come now Dac is that how you talk to The Master?
Dac: Yes! I have to call Rick! You’ve been holding me captive! God, where are we?
Man: You’re warehouse. Whoever knocked you out must’ve knocked you out of my spell.
Dac: I don’t care. Stay away.
THE HOST appeared behind DAC. He GRABBED DAC and held onto him tightly. THE MAN reached his hand out and a purplish light flew from his hand and absorbed into DAC’S BODY.
DAC snapped his head a few times.
Dac: What the hell happened here?
The MAN laughed. The CAMERA panned around to show his face. MAYOR BOB KLINE smiled.
Bob: That’s my boy…
BLACK SCREEN
