Slayer - Episode 4x17 - Home Is Where the Hurt is

A RAISED piece of the platform holds a RED RUBY. THE HOST gets to the top of the PLATFORM and grabs the RUBY.
A RED GLOW ENGULFS THE HOST. THE HOST IS RAISED OUT OF THE CAVE AND ABOVE CHARGER CITY, as if he were ascending to HEAVEN.
The RED RUBY EXPLODED above THE HOST. The HOST WAS SHOWERED WITH RED DUST. The DUST ABSORBED INTO HIS SKIN.
THE HOST was placed back down onto the ground, where DAC STOOD, waiting.
THE HOST’S EYES WERE GLOWING RED.
Host: Nothing…
DAC SMILED.
Host: …And I mean nothing can stop me now.
RIVER, SHANE and JOEY gathered around MARTY’S BODY
MARTY started to cough.
Marty: River?
River: Yeah?
Marty: Kill that bitch……
MARTY passed out, but was breathing.
Dac: His mother just died. His former love is some sort of God. His Father is still Missing in Action…River!
Host: What River? Charger Bay River?
Dac: No…his brother.
Host: Very good, Dac.
Dac: We kidnap them, bring them here and Ben is sure to come…with his friends.
Host: And he won’t be able to touch me.
Dac: I’m a genius.
Host: …Right.
Ben: Why is everyone leaving?
Falcon: You wouldn’t believe you if I told you.
Ben: And why is this freaking song playing? It’s too depressing.
FALCON walked to the door.
Falcon: Just turn around.
FALCON walked out, closing the door.
BEN turned around to find PARA standing there.
PARA had tears in her eyes.
Para: You can’t just leave the one you love…and I came looking for you and you were gone and I don’t want to ever know that feeling again. I love you more than anything Ben, and I’m so sorry for leaving you.
BEN walked over to her. They embraced and started to dance slowly to the song.
Ben: I love you too.
NEW EPISODE
THE ELITE HEADQUARTERS – SAME EVENING
SAMANTHA stood pacing around, looking at JESTER.
Jester: Don’t worry, Sam. They’ll be back. They’re never gone this long.
Sam: It’s not him that I’m worried about. It’s her.
BEN’S HOUSE
PARA and BEN held each other in a sweet embrace. Finally, after months of separation – these two lovers were reunited.
BEN leaned into PARA kissing her passionately.
MARTY’S FRONT YARD
RIVER, SHANE and JOEY placed MARTY’S BODY on the ground.
River: Do we just leave him out here? I mean, he’s sleeping and what if he wakes up, he’ll be all confused and stuff.
Joey: Summers, you’ve got a point there. He can stay at my house.
Shane: Let’s think here – more confused waking up on own front lawn or more confused waking up in your house…Yeah, leaving him here is a by far better idea.
MARTY started to wake up.
Marty: Where am I?
River: See, I guess either way it wouldn’t have mattered…[To Marty] Marty, we’re in 2003 Charger City.
Marty: I see that.
River: You’re not dead and even if you think you were, you weren’t.
Marty: …okay…
A VAMPIRE jumped from MARTY’S BUSHES landing on JOEY. The VAMPIRE was followed by three other VAMPIRES, but these VAMPS were wearing MILITARY FATIGUES.
Marty: Who are your crazy friends, Shane?
Shane: Great. He’s delusional.
RIVER pulled a WOODEN STAKE tucked into his SOCK.
Shane: You come prepared for anything…
River: Haven’t you ever heard of the Boy Scouts?
Shane: Huh?
River: “Be Preapared.”
RIVER charged at the VAMP on JOEY. The VAMPIRE jumped off. JOEY leapt to his feet and started punching the VAMPIRE.
River: Joey, rip his clothes off!
Joey: WHAT?!
River: If I stake him, his clothes will go to dust too, and these aren’t regular vamp clothes.
JOEY slugged the VAMPIRE hard to the GROUND. SHANE ran over and pulled the TOP of the vampire’s clothes.
River: That’s good enough.
SHANE touched the VAMPIRE’S bare chest.
The VAMPIRE looked confused, but his confusion turned to a FIERY BURN – as he turned to DUST.
Joey: When you touch people they burst into flames?
Shane: No, that was magic.
River: Guys?
Joey: Yeah?
River: Why are the other 3 not attacking?
Vampire: We have a message from our master.
River: Who is your master?
Vampire: The great and powerful one. You will feel his wrath.
River: Oh, like we…I haven’t heard that one before.
The VAMPIRES looked confused.
River: Your message…what is it? Before Mr. Pointy decides to start talking would be a good time to talk.
Vampire: He has told us to forewarn the Slayer that his worst fears have come true, and right now he is –
The VAMPIRE was staked.
DAC threw himself at the other VAMPIRES staking them and sending them into DUST.
JOEY, RIVER, SHANE, and MARTY looked on in awe.
Dac: Boys…you have to help me!
DAC fell to his knees before RIVER. BLOOD was dripping on his face and on his hands.
PARA and RICK came chasing from behind DAC.
PARA held onto a DAGGER and RICK held his GUN pointing at DAC.
Para: River, get out of the way…
River: Rick! That’s not Para!
Rick: Huh?
BEN’S HOUSE – BEN’S BEDROOM
BEN and PARA start undressing each other.
BLACK OUT
OPENING CREDITS
A Zoom in of Charger City at night. “SLAYER” appears in red text.
BEN ran past the DRUMLINE. He took one of the DRUMMER’S sticks and BROKE it across the DRUM. He started running towards the VAMPIRES and staking them left and right. [Starring Ben] BEN, BECKY, and ICE attack dozens of DEMONS.
BRAD throws an AXE in a GRAVEYARD, missing the VAMPIRE, but sending it the other direction.
PARA throws a blue glowing orb at a DEMON. She dances with BEN at a NIGHT CLUB. PARA and BECKY roll on the ground, PULLING each other’s hair. [Para girl] PARA looks at a map with RICK.
SHANE and MARTY swing BASEBALL BATS at a HUGE SCALY DEMON.
RIVER picks up a desk and throws it at the window. The DESK shatters the window. RIVER runs at a wall of lockers and flip kicks himself over a bully. [Jedi A. Malcolm] VAMPIRES surround RIVER, he spins around with a sword, decapitating them all as they turn to dust.
ROWS of TOMBSTONES start to shake. The ground starts to rumble. HANDS fly up from GRAVES. VAMPIRES pull themselves out. They all walk towards a CRYPT. They open the door and file in. A passage way allows them to gain access to an underworld.
TARA looks through her books of spells. TARA kisses MANDY on the lips. [JP3 Girl] TARA’S body splits in too DARK MAGIC and LIGHT MAGIC. TARA’S eyes started to change into different colors.
RICK, BRAD and FALCON GLICK walked through the graveyard. RICK carried an AXE, BRAD carried a CROSSBOW and FALCON carried a SWORD.
RICK spars in a ring with BEN. RICK pulls his crossbow out and fires. RICK thrusts his ARM out at an oncoming VAMPIRE. The VAMPIRE turns to dust as a WOODEN STAKE goes back into RICK’S sleeve. [Rick Arnold] Rick embraces SAMANTHA.
RYAN spars with BEN. [Dark Hunter as Ryan] RYAN’S CELL PHONE started to ring. RYAN pulled it off the waist of his belt. He threw the phone up in the air. He pulled a gun from inside his COAT. He OPENED FIRE on the falling CELL PHONE. The PHONE gave a small explosion. RYAN got in his CAR and sped off. RYAN throws a VAMPIRE into a BONFIRE.
THE HEAD of the DEMON rose up to FALCON. FALCON pulled his sword back and sliced the HEAD in HALF.
BRAD blows a dust which begins to GLISTEN in mid air. BRAD stands on a stage holding a microphone. BRAD and RICK looked at each other and sighed. [And Brad as Bradley Giles] BRAD and DAC engage in a sword fight.
BEN and RIVER walk the streets of CHARGER CITY with their BLACK coats flapping in the wind as if they were capes. PARA, RICK, and SAM fall in behind them FULLY ARMED. TARA and MANDY fall in behind them with SHANE, MARTY, JOEY and FALCON.
COMMERCIAL
When the world is in peril – and no one is brave enough to stand up against the vile creatures – just be rest assured the a ‘Slayer’ will always be there.

[Special Guest Star The Host]
RIVER charged at PARA knocking her to the ground.
Para: River! What in the hell has gotten into you?
RIVER rolled over on top of PARA and started to punch her. PARA flipped RIVER off of him.
River: It’s that thing…that Host guy!
Para: What?!
Rick: Huh?
Dac: I think they got us.
PARA kicked RICK in the face. RICK flew backwards and landed on his back, motionless.
PARA’S lips moved, but THE HOST’S voice filled her voice.
[Guest Starring Aragorn as Shane]
[JP Junkee as Marty]
[PunkNerd as Joey Russo]
Para: Good senses, kid. I can see that your brother should take after you, instead of you taking after him.
PARA transformed into THE HOST.
The Host: So how did you know?
River: Para would never use a knife.
Host: What does she use?
River: If I told you, I’d get confused on who is who.
Host: Why wouldn’t she use a knife?
River: To easy to get it turned around and rammed into you.
Host: Intriguing.
Dac: Shouldn’t we give the Slayer some sort of a warning?
THE HOST transformed into DAC.
[SamFan as Samantha / Sam]
[JesterP as Lieutenant Jester Pocus]
Dac: Come on guys…you really think I would come running to you for help?
River: If you’re here – who’s that?
Dac: River, I’d have to say, you are a bright one, but seriously – I made the Ben-Bot. What do you think this is?
DAC hurled the KNIFE at the OTHER DAC. The KNIFE landed through DAC’S HEAD, causing sparks to scatter.
DAC laughed.

Dac: See? I’m a big bad. I can totally dominate this town.
RIVER stepped up to DAC’S FACE.
River: Where is she?
Dac: I think you know quite well where she is.
RIVER punched DAC in the face. DAC grabbed his face and looked at RIVER.
River: I won’t ask again…
Dac: Ask what?
RIVER elbowed DAC in the STOMACH causing him to curl down like a lower-case “R.” RIVER spun around and KICKED DAC in the FACE, knocking him DOWN to the ground.
River: Where is she?
BEN’S BEDROOM
BEN and PARA are in bed, doing ‘that thing’ lovers do.
FRONT POARCH
PARA looked around at the house, some of the small changes that were made. She took in some heavy breaths, and then sighed. She unlocked the front door with her key.
PARA walked into the house, just looking at it. She felt at home again. No war that she had to worry about, she was safe. She picked up a PICTURE of BEN and RIVER at a park. She touched the side of BEN’S face, shedding a small tear.
BEN’S BEDROOM
BEN’S HAND knocks the lamp off the nightstand, shattering it. BEN and PARA kept at it.
DOWNSTAIRS
PARA heard the crash.
Para: Ben?
PARA started up the stairs, still looking around. She walked to the bedroom, hearing the moaning. PARA’S EYES were wide.
COMMERCIAL
The Sims – Online – Brace yourself. The Sims are real.
Windex – Makes it shine!
SHE kicked open the door. BEN and PARA separated. PARA hid under the covers. PARA turned on the light.
Para: Okay, what’s going on?
Ben: Para?!
Para: Don’t look surprised.
BEN ran out of his bed and threw his clothes on. After throwing his pants on, BEN grabbed a crossbow.
PARA got out of the bed, covering herself with the sheets. PARA looked at HERSELF.
Para: Oh my god! You got a robot made?!
Ben: No…this is you…no…this is confusing.
PARA WITH THE COVERS started to KISS BEN. PARA’S VOICE changed to THE HOST’S.
Para: No, you were right…Damn Slayer. You taste good and well, have it all I guess.
THE HOST was now transformed into his full self, but forced to cover with the BEDSHEETS.
THE HOST ripped a HOLE through the sheets and threw it over his head, forming a GOWN.
BEN aimed the crossbow at the HOST.
Host: Shoot. See what happens.
Ben: You don’t think I won’t?
Host: I think you’re afraid to see what would happen.
Para: Get out.
Host: Oooh. Temper, temper.
Para: I think someone is a little envious at the fact I got her man.
PARA rushed at the HOST. She got several good punches in. The HOST flung her off his arm like she was a Frisbee.
BEN fired the CROSSBOW. The BOLT went into THE HOST. The HOST looked at the wound with the BOLT hanging out. The HOST put his fingers on the BOLT, as if to pull it out.
Host: This is going to hurt…I know it.
The HOST formed a FIST AROUND THE BOLT and RAMMED IT IN FURTHER.
Host: Perhaps you forgot, Slayer. I can’t be killed.
Ben: Until I find a way.
Host: Keep trying. Your time is limited. I’m halfway there.
RIVER’S VOICE filled the house as he WALKED in the house, HOLDING DAC. DAC was tied up.
River: Ben?
Host: Yay! The family is here!
The HOST teleported to the first floor of the house. He saw DAC tied up.
Host: Dac…Dac, Dac, Dac. What am I going to do with you? You got captured.
BEN and PARA ran down the stairs.
Para: I guess we know who the real brains of your operation are, Dac.
Dac: Oh shut up.
Para: Rick, did you do this?
Rick: No, actually, River did.
BEN smiled.
Para: River? Wow.
River: Have I earned a cookie?
Host: Yes…
The HOST waved his arm and using his new powers, a GUST OF WIND threw RIVER against the WALL. RIVER fell to the ground hard.
Host: I suggest the rest of you back off, unless you want to be out for the next three hours.
SHANE, MARTY, JOEY and RICK backed away from DAC. The HOST grabbed DAC and they teleported out of the house.
RIVER stood up fast. Almost as if the being thrown into the wall didn’t phase him.
COMMERCIAL
Darkness Falls – Starring Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s and Slayer’s Emma Caulfield – Opens today… “Stay in the light!”
What a ride it’s been – only 3 episodes left before we hit the big two part Season Finale of Slayer! Will Dac and The Host succeed in tormenting Ben, or have their plans changed?
THE HOST stands on top of a PEAK – with CANDLES and RITUAL ITEMS all around.
Will Para and Ben reconcile and get together?
BEN and PARA kiss outside of a FAMILIAR LOOKING WAREHOUSE as its burning.
Will Ryan and Tara ever reform a friendship?
RYAN looks on as TARA and MANDY kiss.
And what’s up with River and his new friends?
RIVER, JOEY, MARTY and SHANE attack DAC’S SUPER DEMONS with the BEN-BOT.

BEN’S HOUSE
RIVER rubs the back of his head. EVERYONE is starring at him.
Ben: River, oh my goodness. Are you okay? How did you get up so fast?
River: I don’t feel anything, I mean it stung, but I feel fine.
Ben: You’re kidding me.
River: No. I guess I’ve picked up so many attributes like you have and I have my own I guess.
Para: Rick are you ready?
Rick: Yes, ma’am.
Ben: Para wait.
Para: Why? So you can try and explain this to me?
Ben: I wasn’t the one who asked you to leave. If we both can remember, it was you who voluntarily walked out of our lives.
RIVER, SHANE, MARTY and JOEY looked on.
River: I’m gonna go grab that phone…you guys probably don’t hear it ringing – ears like a dog.
Joey: I’m going to help you with that.
Shane: Me too.
RIVER and JOEY started to walk off followed by SHANE, but SHANE stopped and pulled MARTY along.
Rick: Let me help you with that, boys. It could be one hell of a phone.
RICK walked to the kitchen with the boys.
Para: So what?
Ben: So what?! Does this conversation even deserve a so what?
Para: You tell me.
Ben: Para, I’m sorry that The Elite has clouded your mind and made you think that Dac is this super powerful war lord or whatever you have him listed as, but it’s Dac. He couldn’t even hurt a fly.
Para: Did you see his ally? You’ve ran into him a few times. I’ve seen it on the cameras.
Ben: The Host? The Host predates and written word. There’s no way in Hell I can take him down, and especially after he found his Mystic Ruby or whatever.
Para: How come?
Ben: How come what?
Para: How come you couldn’t tell me apart from his morph of me?
Ben: Do you have any idea how convincing he was? Everything was correct…everything. Para, I can’t do this alone anymore.
Para: You’ve got the Scrappy Gang. You don’t need me.
Ben: I don’t know if they need you, but I do. Para, you are in me. You and I together. We are together forever. Destined. You have to feel it.
Para: When I look at you, I get disgusted.
BEN and PARA starred at each other.
Para: You know nothing…
Ben: …do you think it makes me happy to know I was just a mission to you?
Para: What?
Ben: You didn’t think I’d find out, did you?
Para: I –
Ben: You can’t burry the truth, Para. You know that. Nothing buried ever stays down.
Para: You weren’t just a mission. I mean, it was – by Rick and Dac and….Ben I fell in love with you.
Ben: Did you? Did you get that ‘spark?’
Para: I don’t want this to end. I mean, I want this “war” to end, so I can come back.
Ben: So you can refocus?
Para: Right.
Ben: I don’t buy that.
Para: It’s the truth.
Ben: No. The truth is that you wanted to take a break from our relationship, which hurts to know, but would’ve been better to TALK about it than you just up and leave.
Para: How did you know that?
Ben: I know.
Para: I don’t deal too well with confrontation.
Ben: Yet you battle demons remarkably well.
Para: That’s not fair.
Ben: That’s what a relationship is Para. It’s fair. Its two people coming together to form one. If you don’t want to fight, we won’t fight. Running away from the problem and sneaking around my back won’t help.
Para: You caught on to that, did you?
Ben: Yes.
BEN’S KITCHEN
RIVER’S HAND smashed through the wall.
Joey: Summers, are you okay?
RIVER pulled his hand out. BLOOD and dust ran through his hand.
River: Yes. Just had to get something out.
Rick: Want to patrol?
River: Might as well…nothing is getting accomplished here.
Rick: It bothers you.
River: What?
Rick: Ben and Para fighting. It bothers you.
River: Yes. Ben is my brother, but he’s like a father, and Para has been everything I could ever want for a secondary mom. It kills me when they’re like this.
Rick: I’ve got weapons in the Jeep, we’ll go patrol. Killing things is fun.
THE BOYS and RICK walked out the backdoor of the KITCHEN and left.
DAC and THE HOST watched disguised as TWO LAWN GNOMES.
Dac: So you can turn into anything?
Host: Do you ever stop asking me questions? God – no wonder they left you.
Dac: I left them.
Host: That was the dumbest move you have ever made.
Dac: So are we going to follow them?
Host: Of course we’re going to follow them.
Dac: As Gnomes?
THE HOST as a GNOME, grabbed DAC’S HAND and the TWO GNOMES morphed into SNAKES.
THE TWO SNAKES followed behind The BOYS and RICK.
BEN’S HOUSE
BEN and PARA still stood starring at each other.
Ben: Para, there is nothing I can say to you to make you feel better. It’s you that has to come to your senses and realize that you can live two lives. You once told me that.
Para: Told you what?
Ben: Something to the effect of “I admire you because you went through High School as Ben Summers – Slayer and Ben Summers – attempted Jock/Normal Boy.”
PARA looked at BEN. She starred at him deep in thought.
FLASHBACKS of BEN and PARA kissing, holding hands and just being in love with each other.
Para: You can’t just leave the one you love…and I came looking for you and you were gone and I don’t want to ever know that feeling again. I love you more than anything Ben, and I’m so sorry for leaving you.
BEN looked at her. That’s the exact same thing THE HOST said earlier.
Ben: Para?
Para: Can’t you just be kissing me now?
BEN and PARA embraced with a very in depth hug. BEN lifted his hand to PARA’S FACE as the two started to KISS PASSIONATELY.
GRAVEYARD
RICK, RIVER, JOEY, SHANE, and MARTY stood around a freshly buried grave.
SOUNDS from below the grave were sound as the dirt started to loosen.
RIVER closed his eyes – he was inside the KITCHEN from just a few minutes ago.
RIVER listened to his BROTHER and PARA argue.
Para: I –
Ben: You can’t burry the truth, Para. You know that. Nothing buried ever stays down.
RIVER opened his eyes as he was starring at the grave again. HANDS broke through the surface. JOEY’S EYES got WIDE and he stepped back a little bit.
River: He’s right.
Rick: Who is?
River: Ben was. “Nothing buried ever stays down.”
RIVER pulled a wooden stake out. The VAMPIRE LEAPT from his GRAVE.
RIVER stood starring at the VAMPIRE.
DAC and THE HOST as SNAKES looked on.
