A RED LIGHT engulfed BRAD.
The GROUND pulled up and the CASKET rose to the top.
The CASKET’S lid flew open exposing MANDY’S decaying corpse.
MANDY’S body rises from her casket into mid air, as if it were being REANIMATED.
RICK looked at BRAD.
MANDY’S BODY glowed with light. AN EXPLOSION of LIGHT burst into HER. MANDY touched the ground gently. She looked AROUND.
RICK, SAM, and BRAD looked in awe. MANDY looked around.
Mandy: Tara?
TARA’S HOUSE – FRONT PORCH
TARA and RYAN stand gazing at each other. TARA looks deeply in RYAN’S eyes.
Tara: I had a good time tonight.
Ryan: Should I come in?
Tara: Not tonight, I think I just want to be alone right now.
Ryan: I know.
Tara: It’s just been a year since…
Ryan: Tara, I know. You don’t have to explain it to me.
RYAN kissed her on her forehead and walked away. TARA opened the door and stepped in the house. She turned around and closed the door, locking it. She SNIFFED the air.
Tara: I didn’t leave any candles on…
TARA walked into her living room to see a LIT CANDLE. She waved her hand and the candle went out. The CANDLE started back up.
Tara: What’s going on?
TARA turned the lights on. TARA SCREAMED. MANDY’S BODY lies on her couch. TARA passed out.
OPENING CREDITS
A Zoom in of Charger City at night. “SLAYER” appears in red text. Scenes of BEN, RIVER, PARA, RICK, RYAN, and TARA walking down a hallway.
BEN dives through a window and pulls out a cross bow with a flaming arrow on the end. He releases the trigger and hits a VAMPIRE which explode into dust. [Starring Ben] BEN, BECKY, and ICE attack dozens of DEMONS.
BRAD throws an AXE in a GRAVEYARD, missing the VAMPIRE, but sending it the other direction.
PARA throws a blue glowing orb at a DEMON. She dances with BEN at a NIGHT CLUB. PARA and BECKY roll on the ground, PULLING each other’s hair. [Para girl] PARA looks at a map with RICK.
SHANE and MARTY swing BASEBALL BATS at a HUGE SCALY DEMON.
RIVER walks into his high school, greeted by SHANE and MARTY. RIVER runs at a wall of lockers and flip kicks himself over a bully. [Jedi A. Malcolm] VAMPIRES surround RIVER, he spins around with a sword, decapitating them all as they turn to dust.
RIVER and HEATHER RUN from VAMPIRES.
TARA looks through her books of spells. TARA kisses MANDY on the lips. [JP3 Girl] TARA’S body splits in too DARK MAGIC and LIGHT MAGIC. Tara throws herself into a portal and it seals.
SETH REX starts throwing SHOES from the shoe store at BEN inside CHARGER CITY MALL.
RICK spars in a ring with BEN. RICK pulls his crossbow out and fires. RICK thrusts his ARM out at an oncoming VAMPIRE. The VAMPIRE turns to dust as a WOODEN STAKE goes back into RICK’S sleeve. [Rick Arnold] Rick embraces SAMANTHA.
RYAN is held at Gun Point. RYAN spars with BEN. [Dark Hunter as Ryan] RYAN’S hands glow and they produce lightning. RYAN throws a VAMPIRE into a BONFIRE.
BRAD blows a dust which begins to GLISTEN in mid air. BRAD stands on a stage holding a microphone. BRAD, BEN and PARA run down a hallway [And Brad as Bradley Giles] BRAD and DAC engage in a sword fight.
BEN and RIVER walk the streets of CHARGER CITY with their BLACK coats flapping in the wind as if they were capes.
Stay close a little longer, make it last a little longer. Keep your breath fresh with Big Red!
TARA’S HOUSE
TARA lied on her floor. She came to her senses again. STANDING UP she looked at the couch and still saw MANDY. TEARS formed in her eyes, as she knew this had to be a dream and wanted it to end so badly.
[Guest Starring Mandee as Mandy Rosenberg]
Tara: Mandy?
MANDY’S eyes opened.
Mandy: Tara?
BEN’S HOUSE – BEN’S BEDROOM
[Beck-why as Becky]
PARA folds her clothes and throws them into a suitcase. BEN stands by and watches.
Para: I don’t like this idea any more than you do Ben, but we’re limited. With Dac’s new forces out there, I haven’t a clue what can happen. I have to be on full alert now and I can’t live here.
Ben: Why?
Para: I will not put you and River in danger and you know that.
Ben: Why is this any different from what I do from day to day?
Para: It isn’t.
[Kristine Sutherland as Joan Summers]
Ben: Exactly. Rick and you are my friends. Para, I love you. I will always love you.
Para: That’s wonderful, but nothing can change my mind.
Ben: Wonderful? That’s wonderful, that I will always love you. So glad my words mean squat to you.
Para: Well maybe if you weren’t off parading in a different world with your ex girlfriend, I might buy into them.
Ben: That’s not fair. I was pulled into that dimension and you know it. I had no choice. I did what I had to do to get back.
Para: Nice cover, Ben.
BEN punched his fist against the wall.
[Dac as General Dac Armstrong]
Ben: Darn it, Para! Why are you being this way?
Para: The Elite needs me, and I am leaving. There is nothing you can do about it.
PARA slammed her suitcase shut. She picked it up by its handle and walked to the door of the bedroom. She bent down and strapped her briefcase-bag around her. She continued walking. BEN just starred at the door.
BEN’S HOUSE – FOYER
PARA opened the front door. RIVER watched from the back of the FOYER.
River: Don’t let it hit your ass on the way out.
PARA turned around, shocked.
[Special Guest Stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers]
Para: You should be in bed, River…and I won’t get into this argument with you either.
River: No, I get it. Ben was happier when he was back wherever he was with Mom, he just won’t admit it. Yet accidentally because of him being pulled into that dimension someone else takes over his body and treats you wrong in which case you knew wasn’t Ben and throw this? That’s weak. I can’t believe I loved you like I did.
Para: River, listen to me. I am not leaving because of something between Ben and me or even you and me. Dac is serious. He wants us all dead and he’ll stop at nothing. You have to trust me. I will be back. I promise.
[and Michelle Trachtenberg as Dawn Summers]
PARA went to HUG RIVER. RIVER ran upstairs to his room. PARA walked out of the house.

RIVER’S BEDROOM
RIVER lies in his bed, his eyes watering. He ROLLS over and sees his mom lying in BED next to him. JOAN pats RIVER on the head, HUGGING him.

BEN’S BEDROOM
The BALCONY DOORS open up. A FEMALE’S VOICE whispers through the wind.
Girl: I know you’ll never forgive me for what I did, but I needed you. We needed you.
Ben: Becky…
BECKY walked into the BEDROOM from the BALCONY.
Becky: I like the new house.
Ben: Thanks.
Becky: Why do you need me?
Ben: Huh?
Becky: I could feel your need for me, just as much as River needs his mother. That’s why we’re here. What’s wrong?
Ben: Para. She left me.
Becky: I sense that she didn’t leave you; she was needed elsewhere for a short time.
Ben: How ironic, so was I. I wonder if her body will come back with, oh I don’t know, maybe you’re personality?
Becky: Ben, please.
Ben: I’m sorry.
BEN’S eyes turned white. FLASHES occurred in his head.
Becky: Go to her. She needs you. We’ll take care of River.
BEN threw his coat on. He dashed down the stairs and out the door. PARA was still loading her stuff into her car. She saw BEN leaving.
Para: Ben where are you going?
BEN kept walking.
Para: Ben?
TARA’S HOUSE
TARA’S body was on the ground. MANDY got up and shook her.
Mandy: Tara? Honey, are you okay?
TARA started to wake up.
Tara: Mandy? Is that you? It can’t be you. How are you here? Is this real?
Mandy: Yes, yes, yes it’s me, I’m fine and yes, this is very real.
Tara: Baby?
TARA got tears in her eyes, as did MANDY the two girls kissed.
OUTSIDE TARA’S HOUSE
RYAN walks back up the sidewalk, CARRYING FLOWERS.
Ryan: I know I said goodnight, but I just wanted to let you know I love you.
A pause
Ryan: No, no, that won’t work. I love you. Here, have some flowers!
RYAN knocked on the door.
MANDY and TARA looked up at the door.
Mandy: I’ll get it.
MANDY opened the door to see RYAN.
Ryan: Baby, I just wanted to tell you [RYAN looks up]…Who are you and what are you doing in my girlfriend’s house?
MANDY looked confused.
SUNNYDALE CEMETARY
BUFFY SUMMERS sat on top of a TOMBSTONE with a blanket wrapped around her, holding a wooden stake. DAWN SUMMERS waited anxiously next to BUFFY. DAWN had a TEXTBOOK opened and was writing stuff down in her NOTEBOOK.
Buffy: I remember those days.
Dawn: Those days?
Buffy: Giles helped me study for the ACT’S one night. Trust me, you’d much rather die on patrolling then studying.
Dawn: Ain’t that the truth?
The GROUND underneath DAWN and BUFFY started to RUMBLE. DAWN put her books away and picked up a STAKE.
A HUGE SCALY DEMON EMERGED from the ground.
Buffy: Dawn! Stay back!
DAWN did as she was instructed; she got behind a tombstone and watched her totally awesome sister take on this ferocious beast.
BUFFY was thrown back a few yards by the DEMON’S super powers. The DEMON focused on DAWN. DAWN released a whimper.
The DEMON wailed. A CONFUSED DAWN looks as the DEMON circles around revealing a sword was jammed into its back. The DEMON falls to the ground and melts. BEN stands just a few inches away from where the DEMON was.
Ben: Hey Dawn.
COMMERCIAL
Can you hear me now? Good. – Verizon Wireless – we never stop working for you!
Keep your whites whiter and your colors brighter, Tide! And speaking of squeaky clean…
Did you notice how shiny the glass on Ben’s Balcony Doors were? You’re darn right! Windex made them shine!
BEN pulled DAWN up from behind the TOMBSTONE.
Dawn: Ben? Why are you back?
Ben: Well, I’m glad you’re welcoming me back with such flattering words.
Dawn: Oh! No! I meant nothing by it, just…Hi!
DAWN hugged BEN. BEN revealed a big smile.
Ben: Where is that crazy sister of yours?
Dawn: Well, she thinks because she has super powers she can fly, but that’s just because the demon got a lucky punch in if you ask me.
Ben: Oh.
BEN walked over to a TREE where BUFFY lied. BEN pulled her up.
BUFFY and BEN looked at each other in the eye, deeply.
Buffy: Hey…you’re back.
Ben: Hey…your back got beat.
Buffy: It so did not, I just let him punch me because I wanted to worry Dawn.
Dawn: What?
Buffy: What are you doing here?
Ben: I saw a glimpse of future impending doom.
Dawn: Can’t be any good.
Ben: I saw these words, they were spelled out with blood on a road.
BUFFY looked at BEN, not surprised.
Ben: Do the words ‘From beneath you, it devours,’ mean anything to you?
Buffy: Oh, that’s the new Sunnydale Jingle!
Ben: Any idea on what it could mean?
Buffy: At first we weren’t too sure. But I’m more than positive that it’s The First.
Ben: The first?
Buffy: Yeah, The First evil. I’ve been trying to call Giles, but no success.
Ben: Where is Mr. Giles?
Buffy: He’s back in London with the rest of the Watchers.
Ben: With him, you will find your answers.
Buffy: I don’t want to bother him; he’s actually at rest there.
Ben: Not from what I saw.
Buffy: What you saw?
Ben: The council, Buffy. They’re in grave danger.
Buffy: What can I do?
Ben: Nothing.
Buffy: So was there anything else on your mind or did you just want to come by and let me know how worthless I truly am.
Ben: You’re not worthless, and you know that. I came to help.
Buffy: Oh.
Ben: I owe you one.
Buffy: How are things with Para?
CHARGER CITY – ABONDONED WAREHOUSE
A very small group of men in MILITARY FATIGUES stand around. RICK ARNOLD pulls a microphone.
Rick: Can I have everyone’s attention, please?
A SILENCE cut through the room.
Rick: The time has come, and we must take out a common enemy. Dac and his troops started this battle between The Elite and his own troops by attacking an officer of ours a few days ago. If we let happen what’s already happened happen again, we will surely be done for. We have gathered what technical supplies we have left and what weapons we have left. Dac is very well equipped and prepared. Do not underestimate him. We are on a break from him, apparently by order of the Council of Watchers, whom has made their presence felt. We must be on full alert. Whenever I’m not around, you will answer to Commanding Chief Officer Para Harris or anyone on her team, which is another thing we will discuss. Everyone has been reassigned to a new team and position. Officer Harris, if you’ll continue.
PARA stepped up and spoke into the microphone.
Para: This morning, I woke up to the unfortunate realization that I had to leave a man that I love very much. I would die for this man, and his brother. They are both a very big part of my life, but I have obligations, and they lie here. Why am I telling you this? I am telling you this because if you have a loved one, then you get to them and you tell them goodbye. We can’t control time, let alone how long this war will last. I’m sure many of you have met my boyfriend, Ben Summers, the Slayer. He means the world to me, but if it means that I have to protect him, then so be it. Yes, I understand that he sees the same thing day in and day out, be we are going into war against other human beings, not demons. I suggest that you take care of any unfinished business by next week and have it all completed and taken care of. Now, as for my team, if you have any questions, console them, myself or General Arnold. The man in charge when Rick and I aren’t around - Master Sergeant Pete Costello, he’ll be able to answer any questions you have. Leading up the Infiltration, so the man who will be giving alternate field commands, Justin Klotz. Joshua Tobias - Counter Intelligence, more or less our most valuable asset. He will be spying on Dac and getting any information that he can for us. Kyle Warner - Explosives Expert. Kyle will be training many of you on how to use miscellaneous items in the field, as well as handling more dangerous ones himself in the field. So that’s the Lead Team. If you have questions, ask us.
PARA put down the microphone.
TARA’S APPARTMENT
TARA got to her feet and looked at RYAN. RYAN was furious in his face.
Ryan: Is this…her?
Tara: Ryan: I had no idea she was back.
Ryan: Oh sure, waking the dead is just an every OTHER day occurrence for you.
Tara: I didn’t bring her back, I never would…I couldn’t. I didn’t think I could.
Mandy: I think I came at a bad time. I’ll go home now.
Tara: Where will you go? We’re not in Dansville anymore. We live in Charger City.
Mandy: I’m sorry.
MANDY walked out of the house.
Tara: Mandy! Wait!
Ryan: Tara…I loved you.
Tara: No…no past tenses of the word love. Ryan, I love you…it’s just…weird.
Ryan: And you didn’t think I picked up on that, huh?
Tara: Ryan…please, I need you.
Ryan: For what? Now that Mandy’s back, I guess you can be a lesbian again, isn’t that what you want?
TARA dropped to her knees crying.
Tara: I just don’t know what I want.
SUNNYDALE
THREE IDENTICAL VAMPIRES attack BEN, DAWN and BUFFY. The THREE of the humans fight back. The TWO SLAYERS and DAWN pull wooden stakes out and ram them into the VAMPIRES hearts.
Ben/Dawn/Buffy: Oh! Synchronized slaying…hey!
The THREE looked at each other.
Ben: Well, I can see that my big vision was nothing other than three vampires.
Buffy: It still matters that you came to help me. Irregardless of why you came, you still came to help, and I need all the help I can get.
Ben: Right there with ya.
Buffy: Dawn, go pack up the bag over there.
Dawn: Roger-dodger.
BEN looked at BUFFY.
Buffy: Thank you.
Ben: You’re welcome.
BUFFY hugged BEN, but BEN leaned in to kiss BUFFY. The TWO started to make out but they both pulled away after realizing what was happening.
Ben: I’m sorry.
Buffy: No, I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself.
Ben: Same.
DAWN walked over.
Dawn: Making with the smoochies?
Ben: If only you were older, Dawny.
BUFFY punched BEN’S shoulder. BEN started laughing but then grabbed his shoulder and yelled “Ouch!” very loud.
Dawn: You take care.
Ben: You too, hopefully you don’t get punched in the shoulder by big sis.
DAWN and BEN hugged.
Ben: Well I bid you all farewell.
BEN turned and walked out of the GRAVEYARD.
BUFFY sighed.
Dawn: What?
Buffy: That was a lot of something sigh.
Dawn: You miss him all ready?
Buffy: Not him, but I could really use him, hell even another Slayer would be nice to help fight off The First and whatever minions it has to throw at us.
Dawn: Yeah, it’d be nice, but it won’t happen.
Buffy: People surprise you, Dawn. Never forget that.
COMMERCIAL
Tuesday on Buffy the Vampire Slayer – Willow’s home and just in time to party with the Hannibal Lecter of the demon world. A tasteful Buffy, Tuesday at 8 (7 central) on UPN!
LONDON, ENGLAND – AIRPORT
THREE MILITARY PLANES loaded up several supplies and troops. SEVEN GIRLS walked out from the AIRPORT and BOARDED the FIRST PLANE. BRADLEY GILES and DAN FINKELSTEIN board the FIRST PLANE.
Brad: Ben has no idea that we’re coming back with all of this. It should help him out on the war.
Dan: Remember, Brad, it’s not Ben fighting this war, it’s strictly The Elite vs. Dac. The Watcher’s Council is strictly going there to observe and will step in when necessary.
Brad: Yes, Dan. But I think you will be stepping in too soon.
Dan: We shall see.
DAC’S HEADQUARTERS – CHARGER CITY
GLASS lies on a table. He is bruised all over his body, and has blood spots all over, and even some blood just rushing out of his body.
Dac: Do you really think it’s worth protecting? We know you created Falcon, we just want to know who sent you to do it.
Glass: I will never tell you. He knows what is happening to me and he is very upset. Mark my words, if you kill me, I will not have died in vain. He will revive me and all of Hell well pour onto you.
DAC rammed a knife into GLASS’ STOMACH. He DRAGGED the KNIFE up to the chest and then RAMMED the KNIFE through GLASS’ HEART. GLASS releases a moan, but after a few seconds calms himself and dies.
Dac: You were saying?
DAC slapped GLASS.
Dac: You see I am much more powerful than anyone could ever imagine. Do you know why? Of course you don’t. You never would. I am everything you aren’t. The air I breathe is giving my life. I am pain and happiness rolled into one. But do you know why?
A VOICE from behind,
Voice: Why?
STARTLED, DAC responds.
Dac: Because I am human.
Voice: So am I.
The VOICE’S FIGURE steps towards DAC and we can see that it’s BEN, looking FURIOUS at his former friend.
