Slayer - Episode 4x07 - The Slayer Menace

BEN walks into the house.
Ben: Mom?
HE stares at his mother’s body.
Ben: Mommy?
GRAVEYARD – RIVER and BEN gather with the GANG as they bury their mother.
BEN’S NEW HOUSE – CHARGER CITY
Ben: Para, will you marry me?
BEN falls into the DIMENSIONAL VORTEX in the GRAVEYARD.
ALTERNATE DIMENSION
Becky: I think you were called here to help…
Ice: You’ll have to talk to our leader.
Ben: Who is in charge?
Joan: I am.
BEN looked on with tears in his eyes.
Ben: Mommy?
NEW EPISODE
ALTERNATE DIMENSION
BEN starred in disbelief. He was starring at his MOTHER.
Ben: This isn’t real.
Joan: Not totally. It is for us. This is what we are doing.
Ben: Huh?
Joan: You are having an ‘out of body’ state right now. You’re spirit fell into the dimensional vortex because I summoned you here. I need you.
Ben: What’s happening to my body?
Joan: You’re alternate was sent to fulfill it’s duties.
Ben: Why are Becky and Ice here? Becky’s a God and Ice became a demon…
Becky: Yes, that’s right, but this is my world. I protect this world and Ice has been helping me.
BEN faints.
The sound of BEN falling and hitting the ground takes us to
CHARGER CITY GRAVEYARD
A VAMPIRE thuds onto the ground at the same moment BEN did.
RICK pounced onto the VAMPIRE.
He started to ram his fists into the demon’s face.
River: Stake him already!
RIVER struggled to break free from the TWO VAMPIRES holding him.
Brad: The Calvary is here!
BRAD punched one of the VAMPIRES holding RIVER and plunged a stake into its heart turning it to dust.
RIVER grabbed onto the arms of the VAMPIRE and swung him upside down. He then picked his sword up from the ground and sliced the vampire’s head off. The vampire blew up into dust.
RIVER and BRAD looked at RICK’S continuation of pummeling on the defenseless VAMPIRE.
River: You think he’s mad we made him miss his date tonight?
MANY PUNCHING sounds occurred.
Brad: Definitely.
RICK pulled a toothpick from behind his ear.
Rick: I had to leave early to fight your crappy ass…so EAT STAKE!
Vampire: You’re going to kill me with a toothpick?
RICK rammed the toothpick into the VAMPIRE’S chest.
Vampire: Ow!
RICK stood up.
River: What are you doing? He’s not dead –
RICK stomped onto the chest pressing the toothpick into the heart.
River: Yet.
Rick: I’ve always wanted to do that. If they made wooden sporks, I’d so be down for it.
Brad: What’s a spork?
River: Half spoon, half fork. It’s a demon in its own right.
Brad: Oh, yes.
RIVER looked around.
River: Hey, it’s ICE’S grave…Ben was here.
As if those precise words raised him from the dead, BEN raised from the ground like a zombie.
BEN looked at BRAD, RICK, and RIVER. HE started to walk towards them.
River: Is this real?
Ben: Must k-
Rick: I hope not.
Ben: Must…
Brad: Do we attack him?
BEN was standing not even an inch away from them.
Ben: Must…be happy to see my big ass up and moving again, eh?
BRAD, RICK, and RIVER sighed in relief.
RIVER punched BEN to the ground.
River: Just where in the HELL do you think you’ve been?
Ben: I’ve been around…
River: You got us those phones for reasons remember?
Ben: Yeah, yeah, I forgot.
River: Are you okay?
Ben: Yeah, but I’m really tired. Can we go home?
River: Sure?
BEN and RIVER started to walk away.
RICK looked at BRAD.
Rick: There’s something not right about that…
Brad: I know. It doesn’t feel like Ben. And River can’t judge too well because he’s missed him so much that he’ll take what he can get.
OUTSIDE of BEN’S HOUSE
RIVER and BEN walk up the sidewalk.
River: …So I said to her, ‘Listen, if you have a problem with me, then say it.’
Ben: That’s good.
BEN looked at the house. His EYES flowed black with flames.
Ben: Welcome home.
BLACK OUT TO OPENING CREDITS.
A Zoom in of Charger City at night. “SLAYER” appears in red text. Scenes of BEN, RIVER, PARA, RICK, RYAN, and TARA walking down a hallway.
BEN dives through a window and pulls out a cross bow with a flaming arrow on the end. He releases the trigger and hits a VAMPIRE which explode into dust. [Starring Ben] BEN, BECKY, and ICE attack dozens of DEMONS.
BRAD throws an AXE in a GRAVEYARD, missing the VAMPIRE, but sending it the other direction.
PARA throws a blue glowing orb at a DEMON. She dances with BEN at a NIGHT CLUB. PARA and BECKY roll on the ground, PULLING each other’s hair. [Para girl] PARA looks at a map with RICK.
SHANE and MARTY swing BASEBALL BATS at a HUGE SCALY DEMON.
RIVER walks into his high school, greeted by SHANE and MARTY. RIVER runs at a wall of lockers and flip kicks himself over a bully. [Jedi A. Malcolm] VAMPIRES surround RIVER, he spins around with a sword, decapitating them all as they turn to dust.
RIVER and HEATHER RUN from VAMPIRES.
TARA looks through her books of spells. TARA kisses MANDY on the lips. [JP3 Girl] TARA’S body splits in too DARK MAGIC and LIGHT MAGIC. Tara throws herself into a portal and it seals.
SETH REX starts throwing SHOES from the shoe store at BEN inside CHARGER CITY MALL.
RICK spars in a ring with BEN. RICK pulls his crossbow out and fires. RICK thrusts his ARM out at an oncoming VAMPIRE. The VAMPIRE turns to dust as a WOODEN STAKE goes back into RICK’S sleeve. [Rick Arnold] Rick embraces SAMANTHA.
MAJESTIC and BEN attack VAMPIRES.
RYAN is held at Gun Point. RYAN spars with BEN. [And Dark Hunter as Ryan Hawkins] RYAN’S hands glow and they produce lightning. RYAN throws a VAMPIRE into a BONFIRE.
BEN and RIVER walk the streets of CHARGER CITY with their BLACK coats flapping in the wind as if they were capes.

DANSVILLE – BEN’S OLD HOUSE – SAME EVENING
A figure wearing a black leather trench coat stood outside where BEN’S house used to stand.
[Special Guest Star Brad as Bradley Giles]
MAJESTIC walked from behind.
Majestic: You won’t ever find him.
The FIGURE turned around…DAN looked up.
[Guest Starring Majestic1 as Majestic]
Dan: Excuse me?
Majestic: Dan?
Dan: Majestic? Oh my goodness!
Majestic: What are you doing back in town?
Dan: I was sent by the Council at Brad’s request. My plane went to Charger City, but I came back here because I thought it was all the same.
Majestic: I haven’t heard anything about that.
[Dan as Dan Finkelstein]
Dan: Me either. So where is Ben?
Majestic: They all moved to Charger City.
Dan: So they all did move! Off of the Hell-Mouth?
Majestic: Yeah…on top of the Gates of Hell.
Dan: What are you doing here?
[Becky-Why as Becky]
Majestic: Oh…just…uh…grabbing some things before I move back in.
Dan: Move back in?
Majestic: I think Ben is allowing me to live in his basement. This is good because I have no money whatsoever.
Dan: Right. You mind, taking me for a lift?
[SamFan as Samantha Roberts]
Majestic: Sure…I’ll pick you up in a few minutes at your house.
Dan: Is it still standing?
Majestic: I think so.
DANSVILLE GRAVEYARD
[Icebreaker as Ice Masterson]
The Headstone read: “MANDY ROSENBERG – 1982-2002”
BRAD, RICK, and SAM sat outside of the GRAVE. MAJESTIC walked up.
Brad: Did you get the candles?
Majestic: Yeah, and I just ran into Dan.
Rick: Why would he be back?
[Labyrinth as Payne/Ben]
Sam: Who is that?
Rick: Dan is a friend.
[And Kristine Sutherland as Joan Summers]
BRAD placed his hand over his mouth. He realized he was expressing a shock face so he covered by producing a COUGH.
Brad: Right then…well let’s get this done so we can get back.
Majestic: Yes.
[Episode written and directed by Ben Smythe]
Rick: Are we sure we want to do this? I mean, we’re talking about raising the dead.
Majestic: Not something new with you guys. You brought Ben back.
Rick: Yes, that’s true.
Sam: I’m really confused.
Rick: I’ll explain later, honey.
[Produced by Tobycompy]
Brad: Tara deserves this…and she needs this. Let this begin.
ALTERNATE REALM
JOAN SUMMERS stood in the door way.
[Executive Producers – Rick Arnold, Ben Smythe and Vader]
Joan: That’s funny. He never fainted when he saw me before.
JOAN walked over to help BEN up.
Ben: Mom?
Joan: Yes it’s me, dear.
Ben: Is this real?
Joan: Sort of. It’s hard to explain.
Ben: Why do I feel that no matter how hard the explanation, I’ll still understand why this happened.
Joan: You are in the Spirit World. This where we go when we die.
Ben: Oh God! I died again?
Joan: No…we summoned you here. We need your help.
Becky: Sorry. You were the only one we could think of.
Ben: Oh…that’s okay.
Joan: Your body was thrown into a portal, but dropped as soon as it entered and your spirit is here. There is a downfall.
Ben: Always.
Joan: Another spirit jumped into your body when you left it, to keep the assumption that you were still there and not dead.
Ben: And do we know who jumped into my body?
JOAN, BECKY and ICE looked at BEN.
Ben: I do not like the whole looking at me concept…who jumped into my body?
Becky: Remember my old boss?
Ben: Payne?
Becky: Yeah…
Ben: Oh my God! You let that maniac take my body?
Becky: We couldn’t control it!!
Ben: What do we need to do here so I can leave and get back to my world?
Becky: We have to defeat the evil that’s here.
Ben: What evil?
Becky: A bunch of undead pirates that have taken over our ways of living.
BEN looked blankly at them.
Ben: Pirates?
Joan: Yes?
BEN covers his eye and curls his other finger.
Ben: As in the ‘Shiver me’ timbers’ and ‘Aye, I’ll swab ye with me peg leg!’?
BECKY, JOAN, and ICE starred at BEN.
Ice: Well he hasn’t lost his humor.
DANSVILLE GRAVEYARD – MANDY’S GRAVE
BRAD, MAJESTIC, RICK, and SAM kneeled around the gravesite holding lit candles.
Brad: …My will is strong. Prevail in my call, oh God’s of strength and life. Return this soul to her body and give her life. From the flames of Hell to the Stars of Heaven, Bring her back to what she knows and loves. Bring her back to us her friends.
A RED LIGHT engulfed BRAD.
The GROUND pulled up and the CASKET rose to the top.
The CASKET’S lid flew open exposing MANDY’S decaying corpse.
COMMERCIAL
Notice how Mandy’s casket was so shiny, yet it just came from the ground? You guessed it – Windex made it shine!
CHARGER CITY – EVENING
BEN’S HOUSE
‘BEN’ sits at the table. PARA and RIVER are in the kitchen finishing dinner.
KITCHEN
Para: So how’d the tests go?
River: I’ll find out tomorrow, but I’m confident that I got at least an A on both.
Para: Wonderful!
River: Yeah, I’m quite excited.
Para: Oh, I was supposed to tell you, Tara and Ryan went patrolling tonight.
River: Oh? So did Marty and Shane.
Para: River, I don’t want you getting your friends involved.
River: They’re fine. Shane is a very powerful witch. Well, warlock.
PARA grabbed the TRAY loaded with food.
Para: Come on, kid. Let’s eat.
They walked into the DINING ROOM where BEN was sitting.
Para: Ben?
Ben: You!
Para: Para.
Ben: Yes…I knew that.
Para: When did you get back?
Ben: Not too long ago. I had to, uh, leave for a few minutes and think.
Para: Oh.
PARA and RIVER sat down.
Para: Should we tell River?
Ben: Tell River what?
Para: About what happened earlier today?
Ben: What happened earlier today?
Para: You asked me to marry you.
Ben: No I didn’t.
Para: Yes, you did. You gave me a ring and flowers and down on one knee and everything.
River: You two are engaged?!
Ben: I’m afraid you’re mistaken. What makes you think I’d ever want to marry a wretch like yourself?
TEARS came into PARA’S eyes.
Para: I can’t do this right now.
PARA pushed her chair out and threw the RING that BEN gave her at him. She walked out the front door and slammed it.
Ben: And she won’t even stay around…further proof on why I’m not marrying her.
River: You can be a real asshole sometimes.
Ben: Oh…you’re still here?
River: I live here…unfortunately sometimes.
BEN looked evilly at RIVER.
CHARGER CITY GRAVEYARD
TARA fell to the ground gasping for air.
RYAN started to punch the VAMPIRE. RYAN kicked the VAMPIRE back into an open area, but the VAMPIRE turned to DUST.
After the DUST blew away, we could see DAC standing holding a wooden stake. DAC was accompanied by a few members of The Elite.
Dac: Where are Rick Arnold and Para Harris?
Ryan: Who are you?
Dac: I didn’t ask you for your questions…I asked you where Rick Arnold and Para Harris are. I hate repeating myself…don’t make me do it again.
TARA got up from the ground.
Tara: Rick is away and I don’t know where Para is. She’s around here though.
Dac: Ms. Rosenberg! How wonderful to see you…and not evil.
Tara: Thanks Dac. Why are you looking for them? Don’t you need Ben, too?
Dac: No. This is Elite related.
Tara: G-14 Classified stuff, eh?
DAC laughed as he remembered that is how he explained it to TARA once before.
Dac: Yes. G-14 Classified.
Tara: You can try and find Para at Ben’s house. Rick went to Dansville; I think that’s where he said he was going.
Dac: Thank you…and Tara…stop me by asking, but weren’t you dating that…uh…well girl?
Tara: Please?
Dac: Please what?
Tara: I’m stopping you by asking.
Dac: Oh, right.
RYAN whispered to TARA,
Ryan: And these people are Para and Rick’s bosses?
Dac: I heard that.
Ryan: I said I hope you guys like dental flosses.
Dac: Oh. Yes, we get dental in the coverage as well.
DAC and the rest of the ELITE walked away. RYAN looked at TARA.
Ryan: What was that about?
Tara: You know how Para and Rick work for that military service?
Ryan: Yes.
Tara: He is Rick’s assistant.
Ryan: Okay?
Tara: I’ll explain it on the way back home.
COMMERCIAL
Beings DIE ANOTHER DAY is being sold everywhere – we’re proud to say that in no way will be selling any advertising space saying things like “Go See DIE ANOTHER DAY!” or “DIE ANOTHER DAY will rock your socks off!” No sir…not from us… :)
BEN’S HOUSE
BEN was in the BATHROOM. His HEAD emerged from the sink where water was running, his hair was now BLACK.
Ben: I am hot.
BEN looked in the mirror and made his PECS dance. He ran his fingers through his hair, trying to get it dry.
BEN picked up another thing of HAIR DYE.
Ben: Blue is very nice too!
RIVER’S BEDROOM
RIVER sat at his computer typing messages to SHANE and MARTY. He looked at his phone and then back at the computer screen. RIVER jumped up from his chair and grabbed his phone.
He grabbed a WOODEN STAKE and walked out of his room.
BEN heard RIVER’S door slam. BEN ran out of the BATHROOM.
Ben: Where are you going?
River: Out.
Ben: Out where?
River: No where.
Ben: Oh?
River: What did you do to you hair?
Ben: I dyed it. Aren’t I hot?
River: You’re an ass.
RIVER stormed down the stairs and swung the front door open and walked out without shutting it.
Ben: Bastard. You’re just jealous because of the Nipple Dancing I can do.
BEN’S eyes flowed black.
Ben: Now…I’m in the Slayer’s body, I’ve gotten him to go against his girlfriend and brother…who else is there?
BEN turned to see a picture of himself, PARA, RYAN, RICK, TARA, MANDY, RIVER and BRAD.
HE picked up the picture and walked to his BEDROOM throwing clothes on.
DANSVILLE – GRAVEYARD
BRAD, still engulfed by the RED LIGHT is CHANTING a spell. MANDY’S body rises from her casket into mid air, as if it were being REANIMATED.
RICK looked at BRAD.
MANDY’S BODY glowed with light. AN EXPLOSION of LIGHT burst into HER. MANDY touched the ground gently. She looked AROUND.
RICK, SAM, and BRAD looked in awe. MANDY looked around.
Mandy: Tara?
CHARGER CITY – UNDERNEATH THE HIGH SCHOOL – THE ELITE HEADQUARTERS
The ELEVATOR SHAFT opened and PARA walked out being followed by TWO military officers.
SHE walked into RICK and HER office.
RICK’S chair spun around. DAC was sitting in it.
Dac: Lieutenant Harris…long time no see.
Para: What do you want, sir?
Dac: Don’t talk to me in that tone.
Para: With all due respect, sir, you are an assistant of the Elite, Rick is in charge.
Dac: I realize that.
DAC stands up, revealing a different UNIFORM. TWO of his TROOPS come in from behind, armed with guns.
Dac: Tell Rick, that he’s lost his faction.
DAC walked towards the door.
Para: What is that supposed to mean?
Dac: I have my own crew now.
Para: Oh?
Dac: Yes. We are the DEMON HUNTERS.
PARA laughed.
Dac: What is so funny?
Para: That is pathetic. Watch out for the “DEMON HUNTERS”
She started laughing again.
Para: I mean, come on, “Who you gonna call? The DEMON HUNTERS!” Ha!
Dac: I command you to stop at once, Lieutenant.
PARA stopped.
Para: You aren’t in charge of me anymore…you’re in my quadrant and I’m at full legality to kill you.
Dac: In that case…Kill her.
The TWO troops opened fire in the office. PARA dived behind RICK’S desk.
RYAN’S APPARTMENT
RYAN and TARA stood outside on the sidewalk to the apartment.
Ryan: When I get in, I’ll call Ben right away; let him know what’s up.
Tara: Okay.
BEN appeared from behind them. He tapped them both on the shoulder. RYAN and TARA turned around. BEN grabbed both of them by the throat and lifted them off the ground.
Ben: Why wait?

Narrator: Payne has had a very long carreer in the demon world and foiling plans,
PAYNE attacks BEN

‘BEN’ looks at ‘PAYNE’. The TWO fight.
Narrator: Shall we leave you in suspense…
RIVER rams a sword down into BEN.
Narrator: Or should we get to the point? All that and more, next Friday!
