Slayer - 5x03 - Slay It Again Sam

A Zoom in of Charger City at night. “SLAYER” appears in red text. Scenes of BEN, RIVER and PARA all armed with stakes, facing down some vampires.
BEN dives through a window and pulls out a crossbow with a flaming arrow on the end. He releases the trigger and hits a VAMPIRE which explodes into dust. [Starring Ben] BEN and RIVER fight back-to-back against hordes of vampires.
BRAD is thrown forward by an explosion.
PARA throws a blue glowing orb at a DEMON. She dances with BEN at a NIGHTCLUB. PARA and DAC face each other down. [Para girl] PARA glares in rage at BEN.
SHANE and MARTY begin to whisper a chant.
RIVER walks into his high school, greeted by SHANE and MARTY. RIVER punches DAC in the face, knocking him backwards. [Jedi A. Malcolm] VAMPIRES surround RIVER, he spins around with a sword, decapitating them all as they turn to dust.
RIVER dives at some UberVamps in rage.
TARA looks through her books of spells. TARA kisses MANDY on the lips. [JP3 Girl] TARA’S body splits in too DARK MAGIC and LIGHT MAGIC. Tara fires an electric blue beam at a DEMON.
BOB KLINE laughs uncontrollably.
RYAN is held at gunpoint. RYAN spars with BEN. [Dark Hunter] RYAN’S hands glow and they produce lightning. RYAN throws a DEMON onto a pike.
FALCON pulls JOEY up from the GROUND, as a HUGE SNAKE whips by. FALCON spin kicks at THE HOST and follows through with a punch [Labyrinth]
MANDY’S EYES turned BLACK as she produced FIRE FROM HER HANDS. MANDY runs in a GRAVEYARD, carrying a sword, slicing at VAMPIRES. [And Mandee as Mandy Rosenberg] MANDY and TARA hug.
BEN and RIVER walk the streets of CHARGER CITY with their BLACK coats flapping in the wind as if they were capes. On the screen - [Series Created by Ben Smythe]
CHARGER CITY – GRAVEYARD
BEN walks down a path, by himself, carrying only a WOODEN STAKE. The ground starts to loosen under his feet as he sees a GANG of VAMPIRES rising from the ground. The GANG forms around BEN and a weird medley is heard in the back ground…

BEN tossed a wooden stake into the HEART of one of the VAMPS, turning him to dust. The OTHER THREE vampires charged at him, but only one made it as the other TWO TURNED to dust – PARA leaped down from a TREE and threw a stake into the back of the one that jumped on BEN.
Ben: Para…I’m glad you decided to come.
Para: Yeah, I am too. What was with that song? Did a nasty vampire sire the cast from West Side Story?
Ben: I don’t know…I think we should look into this tomorrow.
BEN looked at PARA deeply – a very romantic, mystifying song filled the background of the GRAVEYARD…BEN started to sing, and PARA joined in.

BEN, RIVER and PARA walked in as TARA, MANDY, RYAN, and DAN sat at the table. DAN got up and looked for a book.

Tara: How’d you two sleep last night?
Para: A little restless.
BEN looked around and saw that everyone was in heavy research mode.

EVERYONE looked up at BEN.
Ben: Did anyone start to sing out of the blue?
Mandy: We thought it was just us!
Ryan: It was very weird. I sang about dinner.
Dan: What’d you sing about?
Ben: I can’t remember. But it was definitely weird.
Tara: We’ve been researching it all morning, but a singing epidemic isn’t coming up in the books.
Mandy: Do we have any books on this?
Para: Is it only happening to us?
BEN walked to the door and opened it –
Para: Because it would probably mean it’s a spell…
BEN looked across the street to see the TRASH collectors DANCING as they threw the TRASH in the TRASH TRUCK.

BEN slammed the door and walked back in.

CHARGER CITY HIGH SCHOOL – CLASSROOM
RIVER sat next to JOEY and in front of SHANE. Marty was at home sick.
River: Did you guys break into a song last night?
Joey: I’d rather not talk about it.
Shane: It was weird…
The TEACHER yelled at the boys for talking. RICK ARNOLD knocked on the door.
Teacher: Can I help you?
Rick: Yes, I need to see three students, uh, a River Summers, Joey Russo, and Shane McNamara.
Teacher: Okay little chatters, you’re free to go. Where are you taking them?
Rick: Oh…to the uh…Detention Center.
River: Hall, Rick. Hall.
Rick: Detention hall.
RICK, RIVER, JOEY and SHANE walked out of the classroom.
Rick: Ben wanted you guys to get to the magic box, rather quickly.
River: I bet it’s got something to do with this singing thing.
Rick: Singing thing?
River: You haven’t heard?
Rick: Well we’ve only been back for a day. Did you guys join a glee club or something?
Joey: No man. Everyone is singing, and there’s no controlling it.

RICK’S APPARTMENT –
SAMANTHA sat in the living room, quietly thinking.
A COPPER COLORED DEMON wearing a very snazzy red suit appeared in her living room.

SWEET pulled SAMANTHA to him and THEY TELEPORTED.
THE BRONZE – NIGHTCLUB
Oddly enough, The Bronze was empty, and SAMANTHA laid on the ground, a little disoriented. SWEET, the DEMON stood on top of the stage and his song began…

BEN and RIVER sat at the round table with SHANE, MARTY and JOEY looking over some books.
TARA and MANDY gathered a few items as they were preparing for a spell.
PARA and RICK stood, looking around.
Para: So I guess not much has changed.
Rick: No, I guess not. They managed just fine without us.
Para: Don’t let them think that. It’ll go to their heads.
Ben: Heard that.
Para: Sorry.
BEN stood up and walked to PARA.
Ben: You know that we are all very happy to have you all back…where is Dac?
Rick: Sent him off – he’s in a cell, locked away.
Ben: Oh good.
Para: Actually, better question on who’s missing – where is Sam?
Rick: Oh she’s at the house.
Ben: She alright?
Rick: Yeah, we’re fine.
Ben: We’re, eh? Pretty serious about this one, aren’t ya Rick?
RICK looked at PARA.
Rick: Yeah, actually. Sam and I got married.
BEN looked in disbelief.
Ben: You didn’t even let us plan you a party?
Rick: Actually, there won’t be a party needed. We came back to drop Dac, Para and Jester off. We’re shipping out to England.
Ben: Okay, now that I don’t buy.
River: Ben, I think I found something.
BEN pulled himself away from RICK and PARA. RICK looked at BEN, a little saddened.
River: So this book says something about just before dawn he can be destroyed, but who is he?
Ben: Just before dawn?
BEN thought.
Ben: Dawn! I’ve got it! Why didn’t I think of this?
BEN ran to the counter and grabbed his cell phone. He scrolled through and called a number.
SUNNYDALE – EVENING –
BUFFY SUMMERS’HOME
WILLOW ROSENBERG picked up the ringing phone.
Willow: Casa de Summers, Willow speaking.
CHARGER CITY – (Split Screen)
Ben: Willow?
Willow: Angel?
Ben: No, it’s Ben.
Willow: Oh! Hi, how are you?
Ben: Great, you?
Willow: Oh, uh, really good aside this being attacked by The First crap.
Ben: The First?
Willow: Yeah, it’s a really long story but you’re in a hurry.
Ben: How do you know that?
Willow: I’m a witch.
Ben: Right. Is Buffy home?
Willow: Well, actually Buffy is out with Faith and the other Slayers-In-Training.
Ben: Right, uh, well, Willow, I need some help that you know something about.
WILLOW looked around. She hung up the phone and VANISHED from BUFFY’S HOUSE.
KENNEDY walked into the LIVIING ROOM to see the phone fly to the ground.
Kennedy: Willow?
THE MAGIC BOX
WILLOW appeared inside THE MAGIC BOX.
BEN looked in awe.
Ben: That was fast.
Willow: I know. Who summoned Sweet?
Ben: Sweet?
Willow: The demon who is causing the singing epidemic.
Ben: No one, that I know of.
Willow: Is there anyone missing here?
Ben: Just Sam…
Willow: And the Bronze opened up down here too, right?
Ben: Yeah.
Willow: Go there. You’ll find Sweet and Sam, The only way to destroy him is to out sing and dance him.
Ben: You’ve got to be kidding me.
Willow: I know it sounds corny, but that’s what Buffy did.
Ben: Okay. Thank you very much Willow.
Willow: No problem. Here to help, that’s me.
WILLOW vanished again.
Ben: Okay…this is what we have to do…
WILLOW appeared again.
Willow: Sorry…I needed some Orbis Root.
Ben: Go for it.
WILLOW ran over to the roots and weeds and found what she was looking for -
Willow: Thanks!
WILLOW disappeared again.
Ben: Right, Rick and Para, you two stay here in case it’s a trap or something. River, Joey, Shane and Marty you stay outside of The Bronze. Tara, Mandy, Ryan and I will go inside and deal with this demon.
Para: I’m coming too.
Ben: That’s fine.
Rick: Me too…I mean, that’s my wife Ben.
Ben: Okay – just don’t start anything…we don’t know what this demon can do.
River: I’m going to go get Falcon, Michelle and Vader.
Ben: Get Falcon and Michelle. Vader went to Dansville.
River: Okay. Meet you there.
OUTSIDE of the MAGIC BOX
RIVER, SHANE, MARTY and JOEY took off.
BEN, PARA, RICK, TARA, MANDY and RYAN stood.
Ben: Everybody ready?
Para: Let’s head out.
Rick: You guys go on, I’m going to go get some weapons.
Para: Okay.

THEY started to walk off, leaving RICK ALONE.

Ben: You got it…only that this ditty is going to be a little different.

Ryan: I saw the talisman, and I looked at what it meant in the book and I just wanted to see what it would be like.

Ryan: I didn’t know what was going to happen! Does this mean I have to be your queen?
Sweet: You’re the second guy to offer me that, and you’re more tempting than the first – but sadly – I don’t need it. Smiles…again…that’s two wins over me…

The Scrappy Gang looked at each other.
They all started to walk out, separately – going their own ways…The CAMERA PANS UP to the TOP LEVEL of the BRONZE – where BECKY stands, looking a bit evil.
BEN and PARA walked out hand and hand. RIVER followed behind.
