Falcon - 1x03 - The Host in Matt

CHARGER CITY – 3 Months Earlier
THE SCRAPPY GANG started to circle around BEN and BOB, as BOB’S DEMON ARMY had them cornered up.
Bob: I will win either way. I kill your brother, I kill you, I kill your friends, but the one I want…I kill you all.
Ben: Bob…you always underestimated one thing about me…
BOB looked curiously at BEN.
Bob: And what’s that?
Ben: That I always have a back up plan….
BOB looked a bit surprised as BEN nodded his head and yelled,
Ben: Now!
RIVER kicked HOLDEN in the groin, releasing him, BEN threw the SCYTHE straight at BOB and it landed SCYTHE SIDE into BOB’S CHEST.
The DEMONS started to charge on the SCRAPPY GANG, but they were pulled back and being killed by…
UBERVAMPS.
DAC’S HELICOPTER FLEW OVERHEAD
The UBERVAMPS took the DEMON ARMY out. Not a Demon or Vampire were standing.
THE SCRAPPY GANG looked around…it’s over. It’s finally over…
BOB’S BODY flew up into the air, hovering above them.
Bob: Fool…
BOB pulled the SCYTHE from his CHEST and held it high. LIGHTNING STRUCK the SCYTHE and BOB flew to the ground…the ROAD caved in deep, burying BOB.
The SCYTHE fell a few yards away from BEN.
River: Aren’t you going to get that?
Ben: Ever since I saw it that damn thing has lead me to more problems than I want…we’re getting rid of it.
The SCRAPPY GANG started to walk away, when suddenly a HUGH DEMON emerged from where BOB KLINE was buried.
The CREATURE looked very much like GANON from OCARINA OF TIME, very LARGE and HIDEOUS, with TWO SWORDS.
THE MASTER jammed his SWORDS into the GROUND and a huge CIRCLE of FIRE formed around just BEN and THE MASTER.
BEN looked up.
Ben: Oh…well that’s a different look for you Bob.
BEN grabbed at his waist…but realized his SCYTHE wasn’t there.
THE MASTER swung his giant FIST at BEN and he flew across the ARENA, landing with a sickening thud. THE MASTER started to run after his PREY.
BEN tried to get up, but he couldn’t.
A BODY flew threw the FLAMES and landed on THE MASTER’S BACKSIDE, trying to control him like a HORSE.
Falcon: Yee-haw! Come on, Ben! Let’s rope us some cattle!
THE MASTER was furious, but couldn’t reach the SMALL vampire on his back. The MASTER fell BACKWARDS, but FALCON leapt off.
FALCON was now standing, facing at the beast.
Falcon: Come on, Bessie!
THE MASTER sliced his swords through the air, but FALCON jumped up, missing the blades. WHILE he was in MID-AIR, he pulled out the TOP HALF of BOB’S SCYTHE.
HE RAMMED the SCYTHE through THE MASTER’S FACE. THE MASTER caught the VAMPIRE and THREW him out of the ARNEA. FALCON crashed through a building.
BEN stood up.
PARA appeared next to BEN
Para: The only way to defeat him is to undo what you’ve done with the Scythe. It is very dangerous and I can’t promise that you’ll come back from this.
BEN looked at her and nodded.
Becky: Ben, no! There has to be another way.
BECKY flew into the air, but when she tried to land in the CIRCLE of FIRE, she was thrown far back by THE MASTER.
RIVER flung the SCYTHE through the FLAMES.
BEN caught it with ease….the CAMERA panned to BEN’S EYES, then to THE MASTER’S, back to BEN’S as his eyes now turned ‘evil/mean looking’ and BEN started to charge.
The TWO LARGE SWORDS came down and BEN deflected both swords with the SCYTHE, BEN swung the SCYTHE into THE MASTER’S KNEE CAP, sending him down to the ground.
The HOST walked through the FLAMES.
BEN went to go and ram the SCYTHE into THE MASTER’S SKULL, but THE HOST stopped the blade from coming down.
BEN looked at THE HOST…
THE HOST punched BEN out of the RING, holding onto the SCYTHE.
THE MASTER looked at THE HOST…then the HOST looked at the SCRAPPY GANG and RAMMED THE SCYTHE into the MASTER.
A HUGE EXPLOSION OF LIGHT EMERGED and THE HOST and THE MASTER were lifted into the LIGHT.
THE LIGHT SEALED, and the TWO BEINGS disappeared. The SCYTHE dropped to the ground at BEN’S FEET.
THE CAMERA focused on the SCYTHE – as it laid on the ground in FALCON’S OFFICE NOW –
SEATTLE 2003 – PRESENT
TEAM FALCON starred at MATT MCGUIRE – AKA THE HOST.
MATT STOOD naked before everyone – a little sweaty, but mostly confused.
FALCON took off his long coat and walked cautiously towards MATT.
MATT sensed him walking – and snapped his head up at him. FALCON stopped in his place.
Falcon: I just want you to have this to cover up with. That’s all.
Matt: Ben?
Falcon: He’s not here.
Matt: Ben?
MATT started to look around wildly for BEN.
Falcon: Ben does not live here.
MATT stopped and looked at FALCON.
Matt: Vampire…
MATT charged at FALCON, knocking him down.
FALCON wrapped his COAT around MATT and held on to him tightly. MATT was kicking and screaming.
RYAN looked at MATT.
Ryan: What’s wrong with him?
Para: I think he’s in shock. He was sent away to the hell dimension where the scythe sent Bob…which makes me wonder if he’s back…
MATT stopped kicking and screaming and started crying on FALCON
Matt: Burns! Burns everywhere! He’s never going to stop me, but I stopped him!
Falcon: He’s not making any sense.
PARA’S HAND glowed. She placed it on MATT’S forehead – MATT was knocked out.
Ryan: What did you do to him?
Para: I absorbed his energy briefly. We need to get him relaxed.
Ryan: I don’t know…he wants Ben, don’t you think we should call him back here? I mean, I’ll go and catch him, he probably hasn’t left the state yet.
FALCON looked up
Falcon: No.
Ryan: But?
Falcon: No. Ben has his own stuff to do and we can’t keep running to him. There is someone we can call though.
MILITARY BASE
OFFICE – A phone rings in the office and the CHAIR behind the desk spins around. The Hand of the man in the chair reaches for the phone.
Rick: This is Rick Arnold….
The DOOR to the office busts open.
DAC is out of breath as he had obviously been running from his office.
Dac: Is it the Slayer? Are we needed?
RICK raised an eyebrow.
Rick: Sure, we can stop by friend. [pause] I understand, we’ll be there within two hours.
RICK put the phone down.
DAC smiled.
RICK rolled his eyes.
Rick: Come on, Dac.
Dac: Yay!!
DAC was very giddy.
BLACK OUT TO OPENING CREDITS
LIGHTNING STRIKES as “How Soon Is Now” or the theme from “Charmed” starts.
The word ‘FALCON’ appears in front of the MOON.
ZOOM into the SEATTLE SPACE NEEDLE, showing FALCON on top.
FALCON rams a wooden stake through a VAMPIRE.
FALCON walks through an underground tunnel, changing into his DARK CLOTHES, throwing his OVERCOAT on slowly.
FALCON’S FACE morphs into VAMPIRE-MODE.
FALCON pulls a SWORD and engages in a SWORDFIGHT with a DEMON. FALCON threw his ARMS down and TWO WOODEN STAKES popped out. HE raised his arms and the TWO VAMPIRES walked right into the STAKES, dusting themselves. [Starring Labyrinth as Falcon] FALCON wrestles a FEMALE VAMPIRE to the ground.
A STORM CELLAR filled with DEMONS start fighting each other.
PARA HARRIS appears inside FALCON’S OFFICE. PARA flip kicks a DEMON in the JAW, and in mid air FLIPS and spin kicks a VAMPIRE. PARA looks down at a few HUMAN BEINGS from a CRANE. [Para_girl as Para/The Oracle]
FALCON flies through a glass window, TACKLING a VAMPIRE that’s about to attack a SCYTHE-WIELDING BEN SUMMERS.
RYAN HAWKINS jumps into a BUILDING that is on FIRE. RYAN answers the PHONE inside the OFFICE. RYAN sword fights with a LARGE VAMPIRE. [Dark Hunter as Ryan Hawkins]. RYAN lays in bed with AMBER, the two hold each other.
THE HOST appears from an EXPLOSION of a BRIGHT BLUE LIGHT in the MIDDLE of FALCON’S OFFICE.
AMBER looks through papers in an office. AMBER’S long brown hair flows down as she spins around, holding a BATTLE AXE. [Ethena Marx as Amber]
RIVER SUMMERS and RYAN HAWKINS walk in the DOORWAY to FALCON’S OFFICE.
AMBER, RYAN and FALCON walk down a DARK ALLEY together. FALCON carries a WOODEN STAKE, RYAN a CROSSBOW and AMBER a BATTLE AXE.

DOWNTOWN – MAYOR’S OFFICE
[Special Guest Star Ben Smythe as Ben Summers]
The Interim-Mayor sat behind the MAYOR’S DESK, looking at BEN and BECKY SUMMERS.
Ben: Mr. Gary
Mr. Gary: Rob, please call me Rob.
Ben: I’m surprised I missed the campaign of Bob & Rob.
Rob: Yeah, I liked it, but Bob was more set on bring a lot of past issues up.
Ben: Yes, I got that feeling about him.
[And The Host as Matt McGuire]
Rob: No one has heard of him or seen him since, well since the night this city was almost destroyed.
Becky: Yeah, I was shopping downtown, and it was just like…
Rob: You weren’t. I know what you were doing. You saved the world, and Charger City.
Ben: Just doing my civic duties.
Rob: I need a running mate…would you be interested?
BEN looked shocked.

BEN’S HOUSE
RIVER opened the front door to the HOUSE to see BEN and BECKY sitting in the living room talking to each other.
River: Hey! I have a really, really huge important question to ask.
Becky: What?
River: Can I go with Joey and Shane to Seattle University?
Ben: Is that where you want to go?
River: Yeah.
Ben: Is there a reason it’s Seattle?
River: No, it’s not what you’re thinking either.
Ben: Good, I just got back from there and I’ve already told Falcon that if he caught you there, well, that I’d be there in a heartbeat and I would take you out so fast.
RIVER swallowed hard.
[Rick Arnold as General Rick Arnold]
[And Dac as General Dac Armstrong]
Ben: By the way, I might be running for Mayor.
River: Well, you’re evil enough for it.
Ben: Hey!
River: It’s not my problem. You’re the one thinking I’m going to cause problems.
RIVER ran to the backyard and pulled his cell phone from his bag.
He dialed a number, and waited.
River: He fell for it. Pick me up here at 6.
SEATTLE – FALCON’S APARTMENT – FALCON’S BEDROOM
FALCON sat across from his bed, looking at MATT.
FALCON knew he was alone with Matt.
Falcon: I wish I could see what you’re seeing. I wish I could help you.
MATT’S BODY didn’t move.
Falcon: We drained your energy for a while, you’re quite dangerous with it…especially when you’re disoriented.
FALCON laughed to himself.
Falcon: If you spin an oriental person around in circles making them dizzy, do they become disoriented?
Matt: No.
FALCON jumped out of the chair and got next to MATT’S SIDE.
Falcon: Matt?
Matt: Where am I?
Falcon: You’re in Seattle, Washington. Its 2004, in January.
Matt: I’ve been gone for…
Falcon: 3 months.
Matt: Where is Ben?
Falcon: He’s in Charger City.
Matt: Charger City…Bob! Is Bob gone?
Falcon: As far as we know. You were the last one to be seen with him.
Matt: We were sucked into a vortex…and it was bright, and simple, and a spirit…a spirit is here and she said I was a champion.
FALCON looked at MATT.
Falcon: Did she look anything like Buffy Summers?
Matt: No, who is that?
Falcon: Never mind.
Matt: She looked like Para.
Falcon: Para?
PARA appeared next to FALCON and MATT.
Para: You rang?
FALCON jumped back, startled.
Falcon: You’ve got to stop doing that.
Para: It’s my thing. I see sleeping beauty decided to wake up?
Matt: Stay away from me! Falcon!! She’s going to kill me!!
Falcon: Para’s not going to kill you.
Para: I think it’s because I drained his energy. If you promise not to go all homicidal on us, I’ll give you your strength back.
Matt: I promise.
PARA touched MATT’S forehead and the paleness faded from his skin and he became full of life again.
MATT sat up.
Matt: I have to help Ben.
Falcon: Ben doesn’t need your help. Relax.
AMBER’S APARTMENT
AMBER lit some candles on the dinner table.
FRANK SINATRA was playing on her CD PLAYER, it was “The Way You Look Tonight.”
She walked back and forth from the kitchen to the dining room, preparing for a big date.
RYAN stood outside of her apartment door.
He paced back and forth a little – nervous. Placing his knuckles on the brown door, he tapped them to the door.
AMBER’S head perked up.
Amber: Just a minute!
AMBER ran frantically back and forth checking the dining room and then the kitchen, and then she glanced at the door.
She was nervous…but she took up the courage and opened the door, to reveal RYAN, standing there dressed pretty sharp.
Amber: Hi…
Ryan: Hey there.
Amber: I’m glad you could make it.
Ryan: Me too.
RYAN still remained in the hallway. He looked at the door borders.
Ryan: This is a nice building.
Amber: Yeah, it’s home.
Ryan: Are you going to invite me in?
AMBER looked at RYAN.
Amber: You’re not a vampire, are you?
Ryan: No, just a well mannered individual.
Amber: Oh…well in that case, I invite you in.
RYAN walked in.
Ryan: Oh, I got something for you.
RYAN waved his fingers in the air, revealing nothing in his hands, then he spun around and stopped facing AMBER – only now he was holding a single RED ROSE.
AMBER’S JAW dropped.
Amber: How did you do that?
Ryan: It’s magic.
AMBER forced herself on top of RYAN, and they started to kiss.
FALCON’S BUILDING – OFFICE LOBBY
TWO well groomed men stood in the LOBBY, looking around.
Rick: Dac, don’t touch anything.
It was General’s Rick Arnold and Dac Armstrong.
FALCON walked out of his office and looked up to see both of them.
Falcon: Rick, Dac. It’s great to see you guys.
He greeted them both with very firm handshakes.
Rick: So what’s going on?
Falcon: I’m not sure you’d believe me if I told you.
Rick: With all due respect, we’ve seen some pretty weird things.
Falcon: Yeah, but this is weird. I’ve got Matt McGuire sitting in my bedroom right now.
Rick: Matt…The Host?
Dac: Why do you have him? He’s all evil and stuff.
Falcon: See, that’s the thing…he’s already got a soul, so he do things. Things that I can’t. Redemption. It’s like he was sent here to me for some reason.
RICK looked around, then focused back on FALCON.
Rick: Maybe he’s here to help the Champion?
Falcon: How did you know about that?
Rick: We’re researchers…we know all kinds of prophecies.
Falcon: Really?
Rick: Yeah. We’ve known that you were going to leave and follow a different path.
Falcon: But I don’t even know if I’m doing that right.
Rick: Of course you are. You’ve just gotten too many things at once.
Falcon: Well, I wanted you guys to check on Glass as well.
Rick: Your creator?
Falcon: Yeah…he’s still alive.
Dac: I thought you killed him.
Falcon: Obviously not.
FALCON paused for a moment.
Falcon: You guys talk to Ben lately?
RICK and DAC looked at each other.
MARTY’S OFFICE
MARTY sat at his computer, typing a paper of some sort.
He started to drift in and out, he looked around the room. He stood up. The room started spinning – his eyes flashed WHITE –
MARTY’S VISION
JOEY and SHANE were bound to a wall with shackles – RIVER was fighting GLASS.
MARTY flashed back into reality – and fell over his desk, causing a loud ruckus.
FALCON, RICK and DAC ran in.
Rick: What in the hell is Marty doing here?
Falcon: He works here, but that’s not the point.
FALCON helped him up.
Falcon: What did you see?
Marty: It was River, Shane and Joey…River was fighting with Glass, but he won’t win, and Joey and Shane are tied to a wall.
Falcon: Where at?
Marty: I couldn’t see. It was dark, dreary, kind of like a castle? It could’ve been the sewer where we fought him.
Falcon: It probably was.
Rick: He gets visions?
Falcon: Rick, look, I don’t have time for this. Stay here and see what you can do with Matt, please.
Dac: What do you want us to do?
Falcon: Dac, you had him in a mind control once, maybe you can go inside his mind and help him find what he’s looking for?
Dac: I can try.
FALCON ran to the SEWER entrance and pulled his cell phone out. He called RYAN.
AMBER’S APARTMENT
RYAN and AMBER continued making out since the last time we saw them. RYAN’S phone went off.
RYAN pulled it out, seeing it was FALCON he immediately opened it.
Ryan: Yes, sir.
Falcon: Get Amber and some weapons. River, Joey and Shane are in trouble.
Ryan: No problem, I’m with her right now.
Falcon: You’re with Amber right now.
RYAN smacked his head.
Ryan: She needed help…um, studying.
Falcon: Right, just hurry up and get to the sewers. Glass’ place.
Ryan: Falcon – just one question.
Falcon: What?
Ryan: Is Charger City like moving up here?
Falcon: That’s what I’m wondering.
FALCON’S OFFICE BUILDING
RICK and DAC walked into FALCON’S BEDROOM – to see MATT sleeping, but he was in a deep dream, where he was sweating heavily and jerking back and forth.
Rick: It doesn’t look like you’ve got much time. This must be what’s causing him, whatever. Can you do it?
Dac: It’s been a while, do you trust me to do this?
Rick: Yes.
DAC looked at MATT – and suddenly we appear in…
MATT’S DREAM
We’re in a very Red and Orange world – Fire fills the background, dark eerie caves fill in the scenery. Hell. We’ve been sucked into Hell.
DAC looks around and sees MATT fighting THE MASTER in HELL.
BOB stands by, looking at the battle.
DAC sees him, but BOB suddenly appears next to him.
Bob: What are you doing here, born-again boy?
Dac: I’m here to help him.
Bob: You’ll fail. As long as he lives, he’ll regret what he did to me. I was like a father to him.
Dac: And his friendship in the Champion and the Slayer will help him overcome you.
Bob: How dare you talk to me like an ignorant child.
Dac: I’ll talk to you how I see fit.
THE MASTER morphed into THE HOST (Matt McGuire), but as an Evil looking Matt.
MATT threw a PUNCH at THE HOST.
Bob: See, my plan is fool proof.
Dac: How so?
Bob: He’s battling himself…he’ll kill himself in this dream and he’ll vegetate the rest of his existence on earth.
Dac: No, I meant how is it fool proof?
Bob: You idiot, I just told you.
Dac: It was fool proof…
DAC punched BOB and BOB went flying.
Dac: …Until this fool came into the mix.
DAC leaped towards BOB.
UNDERGROUND SEWERS
FALCON, AMBER, RYAN and MARTY walked closely together, all holding weapons – once again. FALCON gripped his wooden stake, RYAN a sword, AMBER her battle axe, and MARTY carried the crossbow.
THE CHAMBER
RIVER, SHANE and JOEY were chained to the wall, with duct tape over their mouths. GLASS looked at them.
Glass: So…we have River Summers, the brother of the world famous vampire slayer.
RIVER tried to fire back, but it was muffled.
Glass: What’s was that? I didn’t hear you.
GLASS smirked.
GLASS raised his hand and a shard of GLASS came from his skin.
Glass: It’s time to cut.
RIVER’S eyes got wide.
FALCON, MATY, RYAN and AMBER walked into the CHAMBER.
FALCON took AMBER’S axe and threw it –
THE AXE spun through the air and sliced GLASS’ HAND OFF.
GLASS turned around, with a quick scream of pain.
TEAM FALCON stood by, waiting.
DOZENS of VAMPIRES filled the CHAMBER, closing in TEAM FALCON.
FALCON’S OFFICE
PARA and BEN landed in the lobby.
DAC flew through the wall landing right before BEN. THE HOST followed after him.
Matt (as Bob): You will never be able to stop me…
MATT looked up at the two figures next to DAC’S BODY.
Matt (as Bob): Well, well, well…my favoritest little Slayer.
MATT CHARGED at BEN, but BEN flipped in the AIR.
MATT’S DREAM
THE HOST lay on the ground as BOB KLINE stood over him.
Bob: You didn’t kill me then…you won’t kill me now.
Matt: Wrong.
MATT sat up, delivering a head-butt into BOB’S “area.” BOB flew backwards in pain.
FALCON’S APARTMENT
MATT looked up at BEN.
Matt: Get him out of me.
Ben: I don’t know how.
MATT’S Head jerked and BOB was back in control.
Matt: What’s a matter, Slayer? Afraid to let the cat out of the bag?
Ben: Odd…I didn’t know a cat was inside of him.
Matt: I’m like a cat…9 lives, Slayer.
Ben: No…you’re like a nickname for a cat.
Matt: What?
Ben: A pussy.
MATT threw several punches at BEN, but they were blocked.
MATT’S DREAM
DAC entered the dream again, only this time he was accompanied by PARA.
Dac: Hey Bob!
Bob: What?
BOB turned around, but it was PARA who stood there. PARA threw a fist at BOB, sending him back to the ground. BOB was back up fast.
PARA raised her hand and the SCYTHE of the SLAYER appeared in her poessesion.
Para: As guardian to the Slayer line and keeper of the Scythe, I banish you to the nether realm and sentence you to five thousand years of pain and torment.
The SCYTHE glowed and sucked BOB in.
BOB KLINE…was gone for good.
DAC and PARA disappeared from the DREAM.
BEN looked at PARA.
He grabbed the SCYTHE.
Ben: Where’s my brother?
Para: Just wait.
MATT got up from the ground – he looked around, finally at peace.
Matt: What was I doing?
Rick: You were sleep walking, son.
Matt: Oh. It was so real.
Rick: More than you know.
BEN looked at MATT.
Ben: Glad to see you alive.
Matt: It’s nice to be back.
Ben: Para, I don’t have much more time. Where is River at?
Para: He is underground, Falcon, Ryan, Amber and Marty are being attacked…if you hurry you can save them.
BEN looked down at the SCTHE and then over to MATT.
Ben: You comin’?
Matt: Sure thing.
Rick: Ben?
BEN turned around and looked at RICK.
Ben: You better sit this one out, corporal.
RICK smiled.
BEN and MATT jumped down FALCON’S hole to the underground TUNNELS.
UNDERGROUND TUNNELS –
It was pitch black.
Matt: Maybe we should’ve gotten a light?
Ben: Nah. Illuminate.
The SCYTHE lit up.
Matt: You still carry that thing?
Ben: Not really. It’s really Falcon’s, but Para keeps it. I just don’t want any potentials getting their hands on it.
Matt: Why?
Ben: We’ve had our run of the mill with all the Slayers being active.
Matt: True.
Ben: So…where were you?
Matt: I was in a realm…where I was always fighting. Fighting to stay alive, fighting Bob…it was Hell.
MATT looked at BEN.
Matt: Why did you come back for me?
Ben: To be honest, I didn’t come for you. I cam for River. He lied to me and is now in trouble.
Matt: Ah.
MATT and BEN started to hear the sound of fists being thrown and connecting, as well as the occasional dusting of a Vampire.
BEN reached into his coat and gave MATT a wooden stake.
MATT held on to it tightly.
THE CHAMBER
RYAN was punched into a corner, and a VAMPIRE started to bite into his neck.
AMBER managed to free RIVER from his chains. RIVER started helping in the fight. AMBER was punched hard into the brick wall and was knocked out. MARTY was being strangled by a VAMPIRE.
FALCON was exchanging blows with GLASS and getting cut severely.
BEN and MATT ran in – MATT started staking vampires and sending them flying across the room.
BEN took the SCYTHE and started swinging. He decapitated two VAMPS with a circular swing. BEN flipped the SCYTHE in the air and grabbed it, then took the WOODEN STAKE end of the SCYTHE and rammed it into a VAMPIRE.
RIVER looked at all the dust being kicked up.
River: Shit.
MATT saw RYAN being fed off and took the VAMPIRE by the neck and threw him across the room. BEN saw the VAMPIRE flying and SWUNG the SCYTHE. The HEAD flew off and the body continued to fly as it turned to dust.
GLASS turned around, he held FALCON in a headlock.
Glass: Move one more inch Slayer and I’ll kill him.
BEN moved forward.
GLASS gripped harder.
Glass: I’m not kidding.
MATT stood behind BEN, as all the VAMPIRES were now dust.
Ben: If you want to go Glass…we’ll go. Just remember, I kicked your ass in Dansville, Charger City and I’d love to make Seattle the place you die.
GLASS flung his hand at BEN – shards of GLASS flew towards BEN. BEN started spinning the SCYTHE very fast. The SCYTHE at the rate of speed formed a shield around BEN and MATT. The GLASS shattered as it hit.
FALCON rammed his fist in GLASS’ FACE.
GLASS ran out of THE CHAMBER.
FALCON started after him.
Ben: Let him go.
Falcon: What?
Ben: Let him go.
Falcon: Not in my city. You think you can come in here and just save the day?
Ben: When my little brother comes here after lying to me, yes.
River: Ben, I –
Ben: Save it.
Falcon: So you just found Matt and brought him here? He was going insane.
Ben: No, you see Dac and Para saved him. He’s quite all right now.
Falcon: Get out of here, Ben.
Ben: What?
Falcon: Get your brother and his friends. Get out of Seattle.
BEN walked right up to FALCON’S FACE.
Ben: Fine. Marty, you’re coming to.
Falcon: No. Marty, go outside and wait for me.
Ben: Don’t you move a muscle.
BEN started after him but FALCON stopped him. Ben looked at him.
Falcon: Marty, go.
Ben: No.
BEN rammed his fist into FALCON. FALCON struck back.
BOTH of them pulled off surprised.
Ben: You hit me.
Falcon: Not to go all school yard on you, but you hit me first, and incase you forgot you hit a lot harder than me.
BEN looked at FALCON.
Ben: I don’t even know you anymore. I’m glad you’re not in Charger City anymore…now I have no vampires that need saving on a day to day basis.
FALCON just took it, not saying anything.
Ben: River, Shane, Joey, come with me. We’re going.
BEN headed out.
FALCON’S OFFICE – SAME NIGHT
RYAN sat in a chair with a bandage on his neck. AMBER sat holding ICE to her head. MARTY looked confused.
Para: I think what you told him was a little harsh.
Falcon: How so?
Para: You will need him in the future, Falcon. He is your friend.
Falcon: Yeah, but he can’t just come in here and try and save the day, you know, it’s my town.
Para: He was protecting his brother. Not you.
Falcon: Would he have protected me?
Para: If he needed to, I’m sure he would.
FALCON sighed.
Para: Do you want to go after him?
FALCON nodded.
Para: Go. I can take care of things while you’re gone.
FALCON’S OFFICE – LOBBY
RICK AND DAC stood by the door.
Rick: Need a lift?
Falcon: I appreciate all that you’ve done boys, but I’ll be needing a ride back, so I’ll drive myself.
Rick: No problem, sir.
DAC started to head out.
Falcon: Rick –
RICK turned around to face FALCON.
Rick: Yeah?
Falcon: I really appreciate it.
Rick: Hey, no problem. Thanks for not forgetting us.
Falcon: How could I?
RICK and FALCON shook hands as they both walked out of the BUILDING.
BACK TO THE LOBBY –
RYAN, MARTY, AMBER, and PARA stood there.
Para: He’ll be back soon, guys. In the meantime, we have to take care of things here.
The PHONE RANG.
MATT spun around from the chair he was in.
He answered the phone –
Matt: Falcon Investigations – we help the hell…What? [a pause] Are you sure? [another pause] Right. He just left, but I’ll be out there soon. [pause] No, thank you for calling.
MATT hung the phone up.
MATT looked at PARA.
Matt: It’s uh, it’s Angel…
