Previously on Ben The Flooder Slayer…
Scene of Ben and Shane fighting in a crypt. The Hammer kills Shane, as Ben falls to the ground, dead.
The group gathers mourning with tears.
Ben: You have to take care of each other, you have live...for me.
James: What are you up here? Apostle, Angel, Archangel, anything?
Becky hesitated a moment.
Becky: I’m a God.
News Reporter: This devastating wreck has left no survivors that we know of.
Focus on the TV Screen…
Reporter: And no one foresaw the storm they flew threw…our prayers go out to any family and friends who must survive this. And for those of you who are just now tuning in, Flight 796 en route to Charger City to refuel and then heading to England, crashed into a lake right outside of Charger City. It has left no survivors that we know of.
Para grabs Seth’s shoulders. She embraces him and starts to kiss him.
Ben: I’m a Flooder Slayer.
Joan: Oh…that’s nice.
Ben: I stop the world for the terror that is Flooders…keeping the peace?
Joan: Battle any demons?
Ben: Once and a while.
Ben jumps through the glass. He punches Becky, but she throws Mandy up as a shield. Mandy suffers through many punches by Ben. Mandy falls to the ground bloody and beaten. Becky floats above Ben.
REALITY - BEN’S HOUSE
Ben runs toward his mom’s body.
Ben: Mom? Mom? Mom?
He starts shaking her.
Ben: MOM!
Vanessa: Hey there, Rick!
RICK shoved the stake into her heart.
Rick: It’s over between us.
VANESSA exploded into DUST.
Dan: I don’t think so. A prophecy has taken place already with The Slayer.
Falcon: Which is?
Dan: Into every generation a Slayer is born. One born with the power and knowledge to stop the Vampires and Demons. When the Slayer gives birth to a boy, the same boy will be trained in the ways of the Slayer and will be the last call, and the Slayer will walk through the fires of Hell to prove his worth and will end the line of Slayers.
Falcon: So? I’ll still kill him.
Dan: You didn’t let me finish…if any living organism assists him; they shall parish into the flames.
Falcon: Why does he have to walk through the fires of Hell?
Dan: It’s written. Something will summon him there and he will succeed.
RIVER looks at the book in his hands. He throws it into the PORTAL.
BEN looks at his brother.
Ben: River…
RIVER walks to his brother.
THEY embrace with a hug. BEN falls to the ground, holding RIVER.
RIVER: It’s okay…it’s going to be okay…
BOTH of them are crying.
BLACK OUT
***********SERIES FINALE*************
SETH’S CRYPT – SAME NIGHT
BEN and RIVER remain huddled, still holding one another as the sob away.
THE GROUND starts to shake. BEN and RIVER stop crying and get to their feet.
River: What’s going on? I didn’t summon anything!
Ben: It’s okay. Just stay close to me.
DANSVILLE – DOWNTOWN
STREETS start caving in. ARMIES of what look like BLACK STORMTROOPERS start marching through DANSVILLE, taking out anything and everything in their paths.
THE MAGIC BOX
BRAD, TARA, PARA, RICK, and RYAN huddle inside. RICK and PARA start loading up on weapons. BRAD and TARA start looking through magic books.
Tara: What in the hell are those troopers?
Rick: I’ve never seen anything like them.
Brad: I have a feeling something very dark has been summoned to Dansville.
Para: Big bad?
Brad: That’s the way it’s looking.
Para: Tara, is there any kind of spell you can do to lock onto this big evil or find out what’s going on?
Tara: Not really. I don’t have enough information.
Rick: Where’s Ben at when we need him?
THE DOOR TO THE MAGIC BOX FLIES OPEN as BRAD, RICK, PARA and TARA JUMP BACK.
OPENING CREDITS
BEN THE FLOODER SLAYER
Ben runs through a graveyard, wooden spike in hand – Ben inside of his casket, struggling to get free – Ben gives his mom a hug – Ben fighting Becky – [STARRING: Beno_yo] – Ben kisses Para with fireworks around them.
Para jumps from the roof of her car to the roof of The Elite’s SUV – Para fights with Black Magic Tara – Para does a somersault and pulls her laser out and fires – [PARA-GIRL] – Para gets her freak on with Ben at The Bronze.
RIVER shoots a flaming arrow from a crossbow – River flees from a flooder – River and Ben hug outside of a gravesite – [RIVER] – River’s eyes glow.
Anya’s face turns from normal to a vengeance demon – A huge fireball flies right through Anya, she stands there unharmed – [JURASSICCHIC31] – Anya fights with Ice.
John Arnold points his finger at three men dressed in military garb – A huge blue orb comes flying in front of Vanessa, John jumps in front of it – John takes aim with the Plasma Cannon and fires – [JOHNARNOLD] – John pats Dac on the back.
Tara’s hair goes from blonde to black, as her eyes turn from blue to black – Black Magic Tara throws her arms out and lightning flies everywhere – White Witch Tara places her arms on Ben, as he lay on the ground riving in pain. [and AUSSIEEMBRYO as TARA] – The left side of Tara’s face turns to Black Magic Tara and the right side remains White Magic.
Ben walks toward a huge shinning light with Para, River and Rick following. Tara and Brad come up from the sides. An explosion then reveals the logo…
COMMERCIAL
FALCON GLICK limps inside.
RICK and PARA aim their crossbows at FALCON.
[Special Guest Star Carna as Ryan]
Para: What are you doing here?
Falcon: I came to warn you all of what’s going on.
Brad: You’re a bit late for that, don’t you think?
Falcon: Skeletor…a ruthless being from another dimension…that’s who’s behind this. Only Ben can stop him.
Brad: How?
Falcon: Something about walking through the Gates of Hell. He’s close. Skeletor has every member of his army searching for him.
[Guest Starring - JurassicChic31 as Anya]
ANYA appeared.
Anya: Do you know where he is?
Para: Anya?
Anya: Hi, don’t have much time to talk, need to find Ben and leave.
Falcon: I sense him in the graveyard.
Anya: Okay. Probably Seth’s crypt.
Para: Why would he be there?
Falcon: That’s where the Gates to Hell are located.
PARA’S mouth was open with shock.
ANYA teleported.
Para: Falcon, you lead Rick and I to the graveyard…we won’t kill you.
Rick: Yet.
[Falcon Glick]
FALCON nods his head. The three of them headed out the back of the Magic Box.
Brad: Tara – is there any kind of spell you can do to protect this place?
Tara: Not a strong one.
Brad: I almost hate to say it, but I need your black magic powers out here…we’re dealing with an evil we don’t even know about.
Tara: I think I can control it.
Brad: I would never ask you to do this.
Tara: I understand. It’s for the situation.
[Dac as General Dac Armstrong]
RYAN stepped forward.
Ryan: What am I going to do?
Brad: As corny as it sounds, I need you to round up stuff from everyone’s house.
BRAD ripped a page out of a magic book.
[Becky as Becky-Lynn Summers]
Brad: This is a compacting spell. It will take items and make them small…fill up one shoebox with everyone’s stuff, get it into a vehicle and get yourself safely to Charger City.
Ryan: So go to everyone’s house, compact their stuff into a shoebox and leave town?
Brad: Yes. On the other side of that is a teleportation spell.
Ryan: But I have no magic power.
[Icebreaker as Ice]
TARA placed her palm onto RYAN’S HEART. RYAN started to glow RED.
[Majestic-1 as Majestic]
Tara: From the Powers of Me to the Powers of Thee, I imbue these magic powers to you from the Powers That Be.
RYAN’S body was surrounded in a LIGHT BLUE VAPOR.
[Very Special Guest Star Vader as himself]
Ryan: I feel strong.
Tara: Don’t over do your magic, if you do you will have to recharge. I can’t promise to be there to recharge you.
Ryan: Okay.

RYAN darted out of the MAGIC BOX.
DANSVILLE – CITY
**Propellerheads – On Her Majesty’s Secret Service**
The CITY is ablaze. Fires on buildings, fires on trees and sidewalks. People running in terror and screaming.
[Executive Produced by Ben Cornell, Icebreaker and Vader]
LIGHTNING strikes around a HUGE TOWER in the CENTER of DANSVILLE. SKELETOR sits on a throne watching the mayhem.
Skeletor: Have you found this ‘Slayer’ yet?
Minion: No, my master. We have yet to find him.
Skeletor: Have you found anyone that knows where he is?
Minion: There was a flooder that said he knew the Slayer, but he didn’t sound so sure of himself.
Skeletor: Bring this Flooder before me.
SKELETOR put his hand on his chin and sighed.
Skeletor: Eternia was nothing like this…this world is far too easy.
SETH’S CRYPT
BEN looked at the ground where it had caved in. RIVER looked around. He could see SHADOWS moving back and forth around the cemetery.
River: Ben, that looks like it’s our only chance. We have to go down that hole and pray we get out of here.
Ben: Something feels peculiar about this hole…like as if we were destined to go down it.
River: It’s given me the Wiggins; so the faster we get this over with, the better.
BEN and RIVER jumped down the hole.
SKELETOR’S TOWER
TWO MINIONS approached with a flooder in a trench coat.
Skeletor: Where can I find the slayer?
Flooder: Your going to be too late. He may not know about the ritual, but he is about walk through those gates and when he does, he will seal your fate.
Skeletor: What will happen when the Slayer walks through the Gates?
Flooder: His blood will mix with the first Slayer’s blood and a portal will be closed, a portal that has given Flooders and other Demons here in Dansville freedom.
Skeletor: So what will this do to me?
Flooder: Leave your number to be up.
Skeletor: And before I kill you, do you have a name?
The FLOODER breaks free of the hold. He STARES SKELETOR in the face.
Flooder: I’m Vader.
COMMERICAL
UNDERNEATH SETH’S CRYPT
BEN and RIVER walk aimlessly around. PITS OF LAVA and WATERFALLS OF LAVA are the only light, let alone scenery.
SKELETOR’S TOWER
SKELETOR still sits. He stands up and looks at the WEST, where the cemetery is. He raised his staff and aimed it at the WEST. A huge bolt of lightning flew out and into the cemetery.
Skeletor: If I can’t get there to stop him in hell, then a Molten-Demon will suffice my biddings.
HELL
RIVER and BEN stayed on a pathway as LAVA was underneath them, as to their lefts and rights.
A HUGE DEMON flew from the LAVA. The DEMON landed in front of BEN and RIVER.
River: What the hell is that thing?
Ben: I haven’t a clue!
The DEMON’S arms flew towards BEN and RIVER. Both boys jumped back.
Ben: As he is completely lava, I suggest we not touch it and not let it touch us.
River: How will we defeat it?
Ben: We’ll find a way.
ANYA appeared.
Ben: Anya?
Anya: You’re in danger.
Ben: Yeah, I knew that.
ANYA thrusted her arms out and the demon flew back about twenty feet.
Anya: I can’t stay long…he is coming…to help. I cursed him, and he is coming to help you. He was meant to help you.
ANYA disappeared.
Ben: What the hell? Anya? Come back!
The DEMON got to its feet and started running towards BEN and RIVER.
The DEMON was right in front of BEN and RIVER when it was suddenly PUSHED BACK and FROZEN by an eerie ICE RAY.
BEN and RIVER looked at each other, then behind them. ICE HAD RETURNED.
Ice: Hey boys…didn’t think the apocalypse would happen without me, did you?
COMMERCIAL
**Linkin Park – In The End**
BEN’S HOUSE
RYAN busted down the front door. He ran up the stairs and did as he was told. Grabbing a shoebox and filling it with the compacted items.
Ryan: Why did I get the easy job? Have I not proven myself worthy of fighting?
HELL
Ben: I really don’t know what’s going on, but I know I don’t want to fight you anymore.
Ice: It’s okay. We won’t fight. I’m here to help.
River: That’s what Anya said. Then she weirded out and left.
Ice: She cursed me to be what I am. So be lucky your name isn’t Ice. I am an essence of Ice, yet I am a demon.
Ben: Huh?
Ice: It’s a really long story, but trust me, I’m here to help.
Ben: Right…what’s going on up there?
Ice: Some big bad Falcon hired to take over, and I guess it over thrown him as well.
Ben: I knew I should’ve killed him.
Ice: And something about a prophecy that you have to walk through those Gates…
A PASSAGEWAY opened and the GATES OF HELL were revealed.
Ben: I’m not going through there…I’ll die…Again!
Ice: That’s why I’m here.
Ben: I don’t get it.
Ice: No other human force can pass with you…
River: What about me?
Ice: Pass with him…not behind or ahead of him. I will protect you both.
BECKY appeared.
Becky: It’s not as bad as you think it is. Simply walk through the gates and you will fulfill your destiny.
Ben: I don’t want to die.
Becky: You won’t. I promise you.
Ben: And what about River?
Becky: He will be protected. Ben, there isn’t much time. Hurry.
Ben: Much time? Seriously, what’s going on up there?
Becky: Falcon Glick summoned a dark demonic force named Skeletor.
Ben: Oh! I had his action figure when I was…you were saying?
Becky: And he is a very powerful being. Hell-bent on destroying this world and the next. Ben, you are the slayer…the chosen one. You must protect it.
Ben: Becky…find Majestic. He can take out this Skeletor and buy me some time.
Ice: It’s too late for that; he already has what he needs for the ritual.
Ben: What ritual?
Ice: The one to open up the Gates of Hell.
Ben: They already are…I’m going to seal them.
Ice: He’ll open them until they are above Earth’s surface.
BEN looked at BECKY and RIVER.
Ben: Becky, get him out of here now.
River: No! I will go with you.
Ben: You can’t. One at a time and you must go before me. I have to seal it.
River: I want Ice to take me.
Ice: No problem. Let’s go kid.
ICE and RIVER approached the GATES. RIVER leapt through them. His body floated through the other side and flew to the surface.

SKELETOR’S TOWER
**Army of Darkness Theme**
Skeletor: Now, with this Slayer I can bring forth the end of the world. Bring forth that one man I nearly killed.
DAN’S body appeared on a table before SKELETOR.
SKELETOR started to chant. DAN’S eyes opened. He flip-kicked SKELETOR to the ground. DAN looked around and saw MAJESTIC chained.
TWO GUARDS with LASERS approached DAN, ready to fire but DAN kicked the gun out of one of the guards’ hands and fired at the approaching guard with a gun and then fired at the unarmed guard.
DAN fired the laser at MAJESTIC’S CHAINS. MAJESTIC broke fell free.
AN EXPLOSION at the BASE of the TOWER shook everyone.
BASE OF SKELETOR’S TOWER
DAC and other members of THE ELITE run off, turning around to open fire on SKELETOR’S TROOPS.
TOP OF THE TOWER
DAN looked at MAJESTIC.
Dan: We have to get out of here and fast.
Majestic: You teleport out of here, I can handle myself.
Dan: Are you sure?
Majestic: Yes. Return to the council and tell them of the situation and get help here fast!
DAN TELEPORTED.
MAJESTIC released VADER from his chains.
TROOPS surrounded the other Slayer and The Flooder.
VADER jump kicked two troops and dove off the platform.
Majestic: Hey! That’s cheating!
VADER landed on the road with a sickening thud. He got to his feet.
Vader: Damn that hurt…thank God I’m already dead.
MAJESTIC ran past a few guards and kicked SKELETOR’S STAFF out of his hands. He jumped off the platform.
MAJESTIC aimed the staff towards the ground and fire jetted out of it. He was slowing himself down in mid air.
MAJESTIC landed on the ground.
Skeletor was furious.
Skeletor: GET THEM! NOW!
**END**
GRAVEYARD
** Don Davis – Antitrust – The Broadcast**
FALCON led the way for PARA and RICK
They arrived at SETH’S CRYPT that was surrounded by dozens of SKELETOR’S TROOPS.
A HUGE EXPLOSION from inside the crypt made the troops back off.
TARA dressed in all black but with her blonde hair floated out of the rubble of the crypt.
Using her magic she picked up all of the Troop’s blasters and turned them onto them.
Tara: That should even the odds.
Para: What about Ben? Was he in there?
Tara: No, he has gone below ground…he will return. I promise.
Rick looked at Para.
Rick: Para, we need to get you out of here, okay?
Para: No, I’m not leaving without Ben.
Rick: Don’t be stubborn, Para, please.
Para: I won’t…
PARA was knocked unconscious.
Rick: You’ll thank me later.
TARA descended to RICK. RICK carried PARA in his arms.
Tara: Brad has already left.
Rick: What about Ryan?
Tara: If we get to your house, we can catch him and get out of here.
Rick: Don’t think of me being like Para, but what about Ben?
Tara: Ben’s path lies before him. He will fulfill his destiny and meet with us.
Rick: Okay…I’ll take your word for it.
FALCON looked around.
Falcon: What about me?
Rick: What about you?
Falcon: You can’t just leave me here…
TARA used her magic and strapped FALCON to the ground.
Tara: This is your mess…find a way to clean it up before it consumes you.
TARA and a PARA carrying RICK run off.
Falcon: Help me!! You can’t do this to me!
HELL
BEN looked at BECKY.
Becky: It is completely safe. I promise…just go…hurry.
BEN looked at the GATES. He backed up a few feet. He then started to run.
SLOW MOTION – BEN runs through the GATES OF HELL.
Brad’s Voice: Since the dawn of time, Demons have walked the face of the earth. And also since the dawn of time, there has always been a chosen one to stop the demons and their spread of evil. Born into every generation, the chosen one is sought out by one who is knowledgeable of training and fighting the demons. The Powers That Be chose a young man this time in Dansville, Ben Summers.
BEN’S body floats through lightning and flames. He starts making his way towards the surface.
Brad’s Voice: Guided and instructed by his only father figure Dan Finkelstein, Ben became a force to be reckoned with. Until a small mishap between Ben and Dan made them see differently is when I was called. I am Bradley Giles. I have been reassigned as Watcher to Ben and have been for the past two years.
BEN appears above ground, next to RIVER. FLAMES still come up towards the brothers, but they have survived the trip through HELL and are back on EARTH.
Brad’s Voice: I have seen Ben grow up into a fine young man. After a battle between a master of pure evil, I thought Ben would be gone forever, but when his friends found a loophole in magic, they brought him back.
SKELETOR appears right in front of BEN and RIVER. SKELETOR starts to charge at them but is stopped by a huge arm. FALCON GLICK appears in front of BEN and RIVER.
Falcon: Go. Flee this place. I will suffer the consequences myself.
Ben: What you are doing is brave Falcon, but I will not leave until he is gone.
Falcon: I don’t know how to kill him.
River: What if -?
Ben: River, stay out of this, I don’t want you getting hurt.
Falcon: Any ideas?
Ben: None.
SKELETOR got to his feet. He pushed both men down to the ground with magic, leaving RIVER starring at him.
RIVER leapt into the air and kicked SKELETOR in the face. SKELETOR fell backwards and was knocked out. RIVER stood over top of him. BEN and FALCON got to their feet. RIVER sat SKELETOR up by his neck and held onto his neck.
Ben: River! Get back!
River: This always works…
RIVER snapped SKELETOR’S NECK. SKELETOR fell backwards…DEAD.
BEN and FALCON looked at RIVER.
Speechless, BEN attempted,
Ben: Uh…yeah, uh. That always…works?
Falcon: Where the hell did he learn that?
BEN, RIVER and FALCON walked away from the GRAVEYARD.
**END**
**Sarah McLachlan – Prayer of St. Francis”**
Brad’s Voice: Ben has since then protected the world from demons and regained himself as Slayer, until he ran into Majestic, Dan’s new pupil. A small rivalry flared between the two Slayers but as it came to pass they became excellent friends.
RICK’S HOUSE
A small BUICK CENTURY pulls into the driveway. RICK, and TARA see the BUICK and know its RYAN. They run towards it and put PARA in the back. TARA gets in the back with her. RICK runs into the house with RYAN.
Ryan: Calsa tay oda tay.
EVERYTHING in Rick’s house shrunk in size.
Ryan: Get what you want and fill the box up!
RICK and RYAN scattered.
**CRUNCH**
Rick: What was that?
Ryan: I think that was your piano…
RICK and RYAN run to the car. They jump in.
THE ELITE CONVOY pulls onto RICK’S Street.
DAC leaps from his SUV.
Dac: Rick…what’s going on?
Rick: Glad to see you Commander.
Dac: As to you too, General.
Rick: We are leaving for Charger City…if you want to follow us, keep up.
Dac: Yes sir.
DAC ran back to his SUV.

CHARGER CITY – DESERTED SHOP
BRAD GILES sits in the shop talking to three men in suits.
Brad: The Slayer is taught not to love, as it will lead to disaster no matter what. Ben is a prime example. He was married once to Becky, but she was called on by The Powers That Be to become a goddess and protect. Even Becky had a power struggle, but she returned to the side of good. Then Ben found his mother, only to have her stolen from him to Cancer. I’ve taught Ben what he needs to know to be the Slayer and his mother taught him everything he needed to know for life. There is little more I can do for him, aside give him further assistance.
Man: So he is coming here?
Brad: Yes.
Man: And what of the evil in Dansville?
Brad: Whatever is left, we will take care of.
Man: When they arrive…I want you to contact me immediately. I’m very impressed Mr. Giles. You have kept things up very nicely.
Brad: I’ve tried.
DANSVILLE – BEN’S HOUSE
BEN, RIVER and FALCON stand outside of their house.
Ben: River, you are sure you are okay with this…
River: We’re moving anyway, we’ll need the money.
Ben: Okay. Falcon, do it.
FALCON raised his hands and balls of fire flew from his hands and hit the house. The house erupted into flames.
BEN and RIVER stood fast and watched.
Ben: Falcon, I know we’ve been through a lot of different settings, but I truly appreciate you saving my life, and my brothers.
Falcon: No big deal. But don’t think I’m going to make a habit of it.
Ben: I’m not asking you to do that. I’m just thanking you.
Falcon: Right on. Well, I have other cities to attempt to concur...perhaps we’ll see each other again, Slayer.
Ben: Perhaps.
Falcon: And don’t be to protective of the little bit. He killed the big bad.
Ben: I realized that.
FALCON disappeared.
***OUR LADY PEACE – CLUMSY***
RIVER looked at BEN.
River: Where do we go from here?
Ben: Where do we go from here?
River: The battle’s done and we’ve kind of won so we sound our victory cheer…
Ben and River: Where do we go from here?
They look at each other.
They burst out laughing.
Ben: That sounds like a corny song someone would use in the finale of a musical!
River: Especially one for Slaying Vampires!
BEN and RIVER look at the screen blankly, and then back to each other.
Ben and River: Nah.
The two brothers walk side by side along a road.
They come up to the oh so famous sign of “NOW LEAVING DANSVILLE – COME BACK SOON!”
River: How long of a walk is it to Charger City?
Ben: Probably a good three days. But that will give us some together time.
River: Yeah.
BEN looked at RIVER.
Ben: River, Thank you for being my hero.
RIVER looked at BEN, flattered yet a little shocked.
River: No…Thank you for being my brother.
They both hug and walk away from the town that looked Hell passed over.
CHARGER CITY – ABONDONDED CRYPT
The DOOR to the crypt flew open.
SETH REX walked in.
Seth: Home sweet home.

And now a SNEAK PEEK at Administration Moderated Productions next installment in Ben The Flooder Slayer universe, SLAYER.
Commentary by Ben
It was a usual dark night in Charger City. It did get a little murkier towards the graveyard, but that’s always happened.
Ben Summers walked past a few headstones. He stopped and looked down on a particular one. He starred down for a few moments but after he heard the snapping of sticks on the ground his attention focused back. He looked to his left and to his right. Ben pulled a wooden stake from his black leather jacket.
A teenage girl walked towards Ben. She was holding her neck.
“Help me! Help me!” The girl yelled.
“What’s wrong? What hurt you?” Ben asked, worried.
“A huge nasty thing…with fangs and an ugly face.” She rambled.
“Yeah, they are pretty ugly.” He replied to him.
Ben put his hand on the girl’s shoulder and pulled her away. Sure enough, a huge nasty thing, with fangs and an ugly face appeared.
“Get out of the way, boy.” He declared.
“We have two ways of handling this.” Ben started.
The flooder was becoming angry as he started to talk.
“Can’t we just fight?” The flooder interrupted.
Ben walked towards the flooder, but stopped when he heard the sound of a wooden stake being rammed through the heart. The flooder turned to dust.
River Summers came running towards Ben.
“Gee, Ben, did you see that? I threw that spike like fifty-feet back and I got it all the way here and through the heart!” He exclaimed.
River was wearing all black. Black leather pants, and a black long sleeve shirt. River’s hair fell loosely on his face.
Ben dusted his blue jeans off.
“Not bad…” Ben started.
“Not bad? What are you talking about?” River retorted.
“You should’ve done more ass-kicking, Riv,” Ben started, “If your going to be my brother and prove to me that I should let you patrol, you’ve got to beat these jerks up just like those vamps from Dansville.”
“Was I that bad?” He asked.
“Oh no, pal. I’m surprised at your technique though.”
The teenage girl walked towards Ben and River.
“Help?” She asked as she fell to the ground.
River looked at the girl. He recognized her.
“Denise Sanders.” River said.
“You know her?” Ben asked.
“Look at her, she’s so hot, who wouldn’t know her?” River said.
“Usually, I would never encourage slaying as a playground for meeting girl…”Ben started.
“…But then I’d meet a goddess who would turn evil by pleasuring her, move away from home, return home, see my girlfriend with evil turned good again and fall back in love only to have her leave and check on me periodically. Then…”
“It is so important that you don’t finish that.” Ben said.
“Oh…okay.”
They smiled at each other.
Ben got on his knees and checked Denise’s neck.
“Well she was bitten, but she’s still got a pulse. Come on River, we’ll get her to the hospital.” Ben said.
Ben picked the girl up as if she were a picnic basket and walked away from the cemetery with his brother.
Ben turned around and looked at the headstone where he secretly placed a flower before his fight. It was a grave set for Icebreaker, even though he was located in another dimension.
Okay – so as we can see, Ben has decided he will train River to fight even though he never wanted that to happen. The brother’s take care of business and lay down the law in their new town. The beauty of moving to “Charger City,” is that I can easily make new places to go. It’s a new world for everyone.
This is the opening sequence for the first episode of Slayer. As you can tell it is in novel format. Scripting is fun, but you can express so much more without making action sequences in Script. That sounded confusing, I know, but it works.
We also get a new character, Denise, is introduced. Denise will be a key character for River, as he will later on, well you know that thing that boys and girls do… Originally I had optioned to make the Flooder a Vampire to make the connection that maybe Brad and Ben worked on some more training and that Ben had become a Vampire Slayer. Ultimately, I optioned that out. I wanted to demonstrate Ben’s Slayer Strength and so when I used the term, “Ben picked the girl up as if she were a picnic basket…” I wanted to over exaggerate and state that “Hey, he’s big and he’s bad…He’s the Slayer.”
The headstone for Icebreaker was going to be originally “Joan Summers.” I wanted to have had Ben and River move her back to Charger City, as that is where Ben actually found her. I’m still debating if I’m going to do that or not. I also wanted it to be Mandy’s, but that didn’t work out for the episode at all. So I put it for Icebreaker as he returned in the Series Finale of Ben The Flooder Slayer and I want to foreshadow a little bit to what COULD happen in this first and exciting season of SLAYER.
SLAYER is shaping up to be what I wanted Ben The Flooder Slayer to be. So I’m very excited as you should be too! Don’t forget to Comment!
