A scene in 1999's 'American Pie' features a strange off-camera voice saying 'Dr. Grant!' in a Hammond-like voice. Apparently, it's a left-over from a cut scene which was to be an homage to JP: A kid hiding in a closet during a sex scene says, 'Wow, that was better than Jurassic Park!' (From: 'Dr.Alan Grant')

    JP4 on Hold?
According to a tweet from someone credited as being on the crew of JP4, the film may already be running into trouble. "JP4 on hold" said the message (it was quickly deleted) from Dean Sherriff, who is listed on IMDB as a concept artist on the project. A screenshot of the tweet can be seen at this Neogaf thread. (Thanks 'Trillian') UPDATE: This tweet from digital assett manager Todd Smoyer suggests the issue may be a bit more dire. More as I get it... UPDATE2: Apparently script problems are to blame, according to Asees, who emailed Jack Horner for comment. Still unclear if this means a delay or something worse... UPDATE3: Todd Smoyer has clarified things, saying the project is on hold but the entire production staff was let go today (unclear if this includes the director).
