Trevorrow Promises to "Honor What Came Before Us"
Talking to an interviewer from YouTube channel Schmoes Knows at this years Saturn Awards, JP4 director Colin Trevorrow spoke a bit about what he's up against with this gig, saying, "It’s not about us, it’s not about our careers, it’s – how do we make something that can stand up [against the original]". He suggested it's not too different from his last movie, the no-budget "Safety Not Guaranteed", as he's currently working with a very small team which seems to include Spielberg himself, as he adds, "It's incredible to have Steven, who has done this for decades and has such an incredible filmic knowledge and this understanding of the language of story".
