Trevorrow Hinted at JP Connection in June, Promises Not to Make it Suck
As noted on Collider.com, it's possible Colin Trevorrow, announced today to be helming JP4, was involved in pre-production of the film as far back as June, when his name had been cicling as possibly directing the first of the new Star Wars films. During an interview for a podcast, Trevorrow notes his previous film created "amazing opportunities" for him, including a potential project with a large fanbase. "I just want to say in advance that I promise you, for all of those who love the mythology that I will be tackling, trust that I love it as much as you do," he said. "And I will respect it, and hopefully make it not suck.”
