Spielberg Told JP4 Filmmakers Script Was "Crap" Last Week?
According to HollyScoopTV, a source "very close to the production" claims Spielberg never liked the script to begin with (assuming he's talking about the Jaffa/Silver one) but called the newly delivered re-worked script by Colin Trevorrow "crap" just last week. HollyScoop adds, "[Spielberg said] if they wanted him to be involved with it, it must be re-written." This comment apparently caused the chain of events leading to where we are now. Elsewhere, I've leared the Baton Rouge production office, which had opened last week, will be shutting down today. Work there was ramping up for filming at Raleigh Studios next month. UPDATE: Frank Marshall has gone on record on Twitter, saying the Spielberg "crap" quote is "completely untrue". UPDATE2: HollyScoopTV has deleted their original story (Thanks Timothy).
