    After Spielberg decided on using CGI instead of stop-motion for JP, the talents of the stop-motion experts were nevertheless put to good use, with ILM inventing a special device (the DID) to allow the animators to manipulate a CGI representation of a physical model.

    Jake Johnson Confirmed in JW Cast
    While his name has been mentioned since October, Jake Johnson (New Girl/The Lego Movie) has only recently confirmed he is actually in the production in this Huffington Post article. Johnson was in JW director Colin Trevorrow's last/first movie Safety Not Guaranteed which he suggests is one of the reasons is he involved in JW. In another talk with the actor he mentions he won't be near the dinos, saying he's the "tech guy". "I’m the guy in the booth, so I don’t get to wrestle around with the dinos," he says. "That’s Chris Pratt and Bryce Howard. They get to do all that."
