JW Teaser Said Shown at CinemaCon
According to Collider.com editor Steven Weintraub, a brief JW teaser trailer was shown today at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, a conference for movie theater owners and exhibitors. "JURASSIC WORLD tease was a lot of CGI and voice over. No real footage," he tweeted. "Just reminding people of the world and what's coming." (Thanks Assess, via JurassicWorld.org) UPDATE: IGN has a bit of a description about what was shown, though it sounds like it was meant for the movie-theater owner audience and won't actually be released:
The studio showed a very basic CG-animated title teaser for Jurassic World that was simply a camera moving through the jungle with words over the screen as soundbites of John Hammond's dialogue from the earlier Jurassic Park movies is played. The teaser was just meant for the exhibition execs in attendance to let them know the movie is coming out summer 2015.
UPDATE2: Collider.com has posted a video recap of stuff they've been seeing at CinemaCon, where Steve and Devin Faraci call the JW trailer "a waste of time", saying that it felt "real rushed" with "unfinished CGI." "It felt like someone took a video game from 1997 and used those graphics." (Thanks Christian)
