Jurassic Park's promotion included a series of six cups available at McDonald's, each featuring a different series. For The Lost World, Burger King issued a set of four TLW themed watches, each of which could be picked up for 1.99 with the additional purchase of a Burger King Kid's Club meal. JW Begins Filming in Hawaii
With an official tweet from producer Frank Marshall last night, JW has begun filming, with the note that the first shot was at 8:20am. Frank adds "all is good", which, I suppose, is good. Since the first days of filming are occurring at the Honolulu Zoo, we're getting all sorts of behind the scenes pics, including these from The Daily Mail which include Irrfan Kahn and some beefed up golf carts (I'd pay to see a "dino vs golf cart" scene), as well as some pics of "electrified" fences. Here's a telephoto shot of the good ol JP logo on the scene at the Zoo. Meanwhile some old friends are showing up headed to set, including this Jeep that has seen better days, and this large behemoth.
