Alan Grant's New Nightmare Chapter 6
    By Vito Hardy

    Chapter 6 Safari Lodge (1:58:46)

John Hammond paced back and forth around the room that was formerly Ian Malcolm's. There were three workmen trying to repair the skylight bars after the raptors tried to bit through them. He just didn't understand why his grandchildren and Ellie Sattler were still on the island. He knew that if they were then that asshole, Donald Gennaro would still be also. Hammond despised Gennaro now. He'd always considered the lawyer a friend untill now. Gennaro had crossed the line when he desided to destroy the island. If Gennaro was still on this island there wouldn't be anyway to fix the park without him trying to mess it up.
"Senor Hammond," one of the workman said from the ladder he was standing on. "We've repired the bars sir. What's next for this building?"
"The only thing that remains is fixing that door that leads to the roof. Harding really messed the lock up when was trying to get away from the raptor that attacked him."
"Speaking of Senor Harding," the workman asked. "Where is he? Doesn't he and Senor Muldoon usually led the repair teams?"
"Dr. Harding returned to the mainland with Dr. Malcolm," Hammond replied. "I thought Muldoon was gone as well, but there is a possibility that he's still on this island as well as Gennaro."
"But Senor, those two will ruin your repairs," the workman implied.
"Tell me about it," Hammond said blowing hard and shaking his head.
"Would you like me to take care of them?"
"What do you mean Carlos," Hammond asked.
"Would you like me to rid you of Gennaro and Muldoon both," Carlos said.
"My God man," Hammond yelled. "This isn't a horror movie! We are simply trying to save the dinosaurs from those governmental assholes!"
"I'm sorry Senor," Carlos replied. "You're correct. I'll go deal with the roof enterance."

Carlos Sanchez stepped up the stairs to the roof enterance where he emediately saw how bad off the lock on the door was. He opened the door and stepped outside going over to a repair box at the side of the door. He rumaged through the box and found a new replacement lock.
Suddenly, as he was standing back up, there was a short and low hooting sound heard by the lone workman. He turned in all direction looking for the place of origin of the sound that desturbed the silence around the Safari Lodge. He then walked around the side of the small door square area seeing nothing. He shurged his shoulders and turned back toward the door seeing an eight foot tall green animal with two crests on it's head staring right at him. Carlos panicked trying to get away from the aniamal looking all over the roof for another way down when he suddenly feels searing pain in his eyes. The pain was so strong he can't even open his eyes. He moved around the roof swating everywhere trying to keep away from an attack that he knew he couldn't stop from coming.
Suddenly, he felt the ground come out from under him as he fell to the floor. He tried to stand back up but something was standing ontop of him. He then stopped moving cause Carlos Sanchez knew that it was over and he just lain there hoping it would all end soon.

John Hammond looked out the window to the Safari Lodge trying to see if he could catch a glimpse of his grandchildren so he could go running out of the building where he would yell for them to come inside the Lodge where it was safe. He checked his watch and looked up at the scealing. He couldn't hear or see Carlos anywhere. The reason for not hearing was because of all the construction being performed by the workmen in the other rooms. Hammond counted in his head what people he had and how many new people he'd have to hire. He only had ten or so workmen, a few geneticists, and a few members of the cafeteria staff. He'd have to hire a new chief engineer, chief geneticist, and a new publishist. He couldn't beleive that John Arnold, Henry Wu, or Ed Regis were dead, but knew that there was nothing he could do about it. He'd also have to hire a new vet and game warden cause he knew he could no longer trust Muldoon or Harding.
Suddenly Hammond heard screams coming from the hallway. He ran over to the hall seeing several workmen running for their lives from nothing other then a dilophosaurus. "What the hell! Don't run from it! Destroy it!"
The workmen all ran into different rooms trying to get away from the animal shutting the doors and locking them. Hammond did the same to his room as the animal ran forward toward him.
The Dilophosaur rampaged the door trying to get in after the old man. Hammond quickly searched around trying to find anything that could possibly help to stop the animal, but saw nothing. Hammond couldn't believe that this was his end. He'd survived the compies constant attacks on him at the Bungalow and now he was going to be killed by a Dilophosaurus. Hammond sighed realizing that perhaps Jurassic Park would never happen.
Suddenly there was a loud blast from outside the door and Hammond heard the animal shriek in terror and then nothing. The old man ran over to the door and opened it to see Robert Muldoon standing before him holding a gun with the other people standing behind him. Hammond saw Gennaro and snarled. Gennaro snarled back in reply.
"You have some bloody explaining to do Hammond," Muldoon yelled as he entered Malcolm's former room followed by everyone else.

    Chapter 7 The Explanation (1:45:23)

John Hammond stood back from Muldoon and the others as they entered the room staring straight at him. Hammond knew this was the end of him. Muldoon and Gennaro would surely shut him down now. He'd hoped that they'd already left the island and he could make his repairs without them interfearing. Now it was all over for him. He'd been caught and there was no turning back now.
"Hammond," Gennaro scoweled. "I don't know what the fuck you think you're doing here, but it's going to be stoped right now! This park was a disaster from the start and it ended up with several people dead. You almost joined those people and we have to get off this island now! You will not rebuild this park! You will return to the mainland with us so the Costa Rican Government can destroy this island!"
"What you fail to realize Mr. Gennaro," Hammond yelled. "Is that this is that this is my island, not yours! I can do anything with this island that I want to do with it! If I want to rebuild this park then I will!"
Suddenly Lex and Tim came out from behind Dr. Grant staring at Hammond with sad eyes. Hammond stopped from his anger now realizing what he'd become. He'd became a monster that had no morrals for anyone or anything. Hammond just stared at the kids in awe not able to finish his argument.
"Do you see these two children Mr. Hammond," Gennaro asked. "They were almost killed several times on this island by the worse monsters to ever exist here. The Tyrannosaur, the Velociraptors, the Pteranodons, the Dilophosaurs. Don't you understand that all this island is a death trap that will end up killing more people. Henry Wu was one of your best friends and he's dead now because of those animals. Don't you see that all that will happen is more death and danger."
"Not to mention the fact that the Costa Rican Government is senting a fleet of ships to blow this island sky high," Grant said looking at his watch again. He wanted to get off this island quickly. He wondered where the hell that helicopter was. They still had yet to return. He just hoped that they'd arrive before the fleet did because they'd all be goners if they didn't get off the island soon.
"What are you talking about," Hammond asked Grant.
"The Costa Ricans are sending a fleet to destroy this island and everything on it," Grant said.
Hammond's eyes suddenly got huge. "I can't beleive this. They are going to destroy my beautiful creations! I can't allow this!"
Muldoon turned around and started out of the room only to stop and turn back around toward Hammond again. "We're getting off this island with or without you. You deside. Muldoon turned back around and left the room. Everyone else turned as well and started to exit, Lex and Tim looking at Hammond saddly as they left.
"You probably won't get off this island alive," Hammond yelled. And with that Muldoon lead the others to the elevator where they went down back to the first floor and exited the lodge.
