Alan Grant's New Nightmare Chapter 2
    By Vito Hardy

    Chapter 2: Return to Nublar

Alan Grant pressed his face to the sandy beach that he'd left ten minutes before when he, Ellie, and Gennaro were picked up by the military helicopter that had just been destroyed by a Pleisosaur a few minutes before. There were ten people on that helicopter when it went down and now only seven. The two pilots had been mysteriously killed by something and General Snipes had been killed by the Pleisosaur. Grant huffed loudly as he looked over to the other people.
Ellie Sattler was sitting on the beach looking out toward the ocean crying. Grant understood how she felt. They were once again trapped on Isla Nublar, an island filled with dinosaurs that were genetically recreated by the company InGen, and they both knew that everyone was once again in danger.
Donald Gennaro, the lawyer that had invited Ellie and Grant to Isla Nublar in the first place was standing on the beach brushing sand off his armoni suit. Gennaro was pissed, Grant could tell. Gennaro hadn't wanted to go to Nublar in the first place, and was now back for the second time in the last three minutes. Grant simpathized with Gennaro. He knew how dangerous the park was now and was afraid that they'd all end up dead for sure this time.
Robert Muldoon, Jurassic Park's game warden was trying to fix his rocket launcher that he'd used against the adult tyrannosaur and the velociraptors just hours ago. Muldoon was more then likely thinking of how much he disliked John Hammond and wanted to prove it, but just didn't know how.
Grant then looked over to Hammond's grandchildren, Lex and Tim. They were both sitting on the sand huddled together scared shitless. Grant felt aweful for the poor kids. They'd went through a lot on Isla Nublar already including an attack from the Tyrannosaur in the Jurassic Lake, Pteranodon Aviary attack, and not to mention attacks from the Velociraptors in the Visitor Center.
Grant finally saw the last member of the surviving team, Sargent Hunter Miller, the only military man that had survived the crash. He seemed to not be very good at being a military man at that. He was walking around all over the place just staring at everyone wondering what would happen next.
Grant then realized that they needed to recall one of the helicopters to come back to the island and get them. He thought that Dr. Harding and Ian Malcolm would already be back on the mainland, but they were Grant's only real hope of getting off the island. Grant looked at his watch. They only had three hours before the Costa Rican Government would be arriving at the island with bombs to blow the island sky high.
Grant stood quickly and stared at the other people. "We have to get back to the Visitor Center and recall Harding and Malcolm's helicopter. Let's move people!"
Everyone else stood and started off with Grant up an embankment and back toward the Visitor Center where they hoped they wouldn't run into any dinosaurs and would find the power still working.
