Alan Grant's New Nightmare Chapter 13-Epilogue
    By Vito Hardy

    Chapter 13 Aftermath (0:47:35)

Kathy Stood beside one of the maintance vehicles trying to regain her breath after the horror that she just went through. She couldn't believe that this building was still here for one thing, and the monsters that were inside it were a completely different thing. She looked over at Alan Grant and wondered if he might know what those creatures were.
"Dr. Grant," Kathy said breaking the silence.
Grant turned around a little shocked to hear his name. "Yes Kathy," Grant replied.
"Do you happen to know or speculate on what those animals were," Kathy asked.
"The one that killed Mr. Gennaro was a Spinosaurus. The other creature that looked like the Spino, but didn't have a sail, was a Suchomimus."
"What about the animal that we couldn't really see at one point," Ellie asked. "And why couldn't we see it?"
"That Ellie was a Carnotaur," Grant replied. "The reason for the Camo ability, I guess I should call it, I don't have an explanation for."
Hunter Miller was barely listening to the conversation. He could've cared less what the animals species were. All he needed to know was that if you weren't fast enough whatever it was would it eat you, and that's all that mattered. "I suggest that we start for the Safari Lodge. When the helicopter arrives to get us, they'll more then likely land there."
"He's right," Grant said looking at his watch. "We have just a little more then half an hour before this island is history."
"Well let's get moving," Ellie implied.
Suddenly a short hooting sound was heard in the distance. The nine people all looked in every direction trying to identify the possible danger. Miller had his gun in hand ready to fire at any danger. The hooting sound came again this time from all directions and very loud. It was almost ear spliting.
"Get in the vehicles," Grant ordered. "The Dilophosaurs are going to ambush us."
Alan Grant started for the drivers side of the first vehicle with Ellie, Kathy, and one of the workmen right behind.
Suddenly Grant, Kathy, and the workman turned around hearing Ellie screaming. They saw in horror she had been spat at and the posionous venum was seaping through her eyes as she screamed. Then a large eight foot green dilophosaur jumped ontop of Ellie and started tearing into her body.
"Ellie," Grant screamed trying to run to her but was stoped by Kathy and the workman. The two dragged Grant toward the maintance vehicle and and the workman grabed the wheel and started moving the vehicle away from the area. He noticed the other vehicle containing Hunter Miller, Lex, Tim, and the other workman going in the direction of the Safari Lodge. He then looked through his rearview mirror to see several dilophosaurs running right toward the vehicles.
The workman mashed on the asselerated and started to catch up to the other vehicle. Two dilos however were able to get close enough the vehicle to jump onto the back of it and start toward the front. Grant pulled out a small hand gun that was laying in the floorboard and started firing at the animals having no effect.
One of the animals got close enough to the seats to start spitting at the people before Grant was able to shot an impact bullet streight into the animals mouth knocking it off of the vehicle instantly.
However, through all of this the three people had forgotten all about the other dilo that was hanging off the side of the vehicle. The animal had been crawing toward the front drivers side and then had stuck it's head up to the side of the drivers head and then bite down on it.
The workman screamed in pain and started pulling the vehicle in every odd direction. Grant and Kathy took this chance and jumped out of the vehicle rolling away from it. The other vehicle was now coming back toward them. The two jumped up and ran for the vehicle. The jumped onboard the back with the workmen. Miller turned the maintance vehicle around and stared off back toward the Safari Lodge leaving the dilophosaurs trying to destroy the other vehicle and feast off of the poor workman.

    ***************(00:14:28)****************

The one remaining Maintance Vehicle moved up the small rise and pulled into the Safari Lodge with John Hammond sitting on the steps of the building shaking his head. He had blood pooring out of his chest. The man seemed to have been attacked again.
    "What happened here," Miller questioned.
"The velociraptors," Hammond replied out of breath. "They killed the remaining workmen in the lodge. I just barely got out alive."
"You need help," Kathy said going toward him with Lex and Tim right behind concerned.
Grant stares at his watch. "Where is that damn helicopter at? We have very little time remaining."
Kathy, Lex, and Tim take Hammond in their arms and move him toward the Maintance Vehicle. Grant and Miller stand there in disgust at all that has happened and at Hammond.
Suddenly Grant felt something pushing him toward the ground with a sharp pain in his back. He looks up to see a velociraptor on his back breathing heavily on him. The Miller kicked the animal streight off of the Paleontologist. Miller helped Grant up and they both moved quickly toward the maintance building. They all got inside the vehicle and watched as several raptors came running out of the Safari Lodge and ran toward the vehicle and then surrounded it from all sides with the people inside the front compartment all scared out of their minds.

    **************(00:9:34)****************

The Velociraptors striked at the windshield of the vehicle and all of the other sides of it trying to force the people to evaculate.
"You people must get out of here now," Hammond commanded slowly losing life in him to talk.
"We won't leave you here grandpa," Lex yelled. She was crying very deeply and unable to control herself.
"She's right," Tim yelled. "We won't leave you here! You're getting off this island with us!"
"No, my time here is finished," Hammond replied. "I---must------go-------n----no---now." With those final words John Alfred Hammond died and fell silent. The two children began to cry uncontrolably as the velociraptors pounded into the sides of the maintance vehicle.
Hunter Miller finally pulled his gun up in complete anger and jumped out of the vehicle and started firing madly at everyone of the animals that even started to look at him. The bullets weren't having much success, but were however slowing them down long enough for Grant, Kathy, Lex, and Tim to escape the clutches of the animals and start running away from the area.
Hunter continued to shot at the animals as they stalked him and hissed very visiously. Finally the animals made their move and jumped at him and there was darkness for Hunter Miller as he thought of all his friends and family and his final breaths.

    *****************(00:4:07)**************

Alan Grant ran holding the hands of both Lex and Tim as Kathy ran in front of the three people. They could all hear a helicopter in the distance coming right toward them. They looked up to see the other military helicopter coming right toward them. It landed in a nearby clearing and the doors opened to revile the familiar face of Dr. Harding and two military officers waving for them hurry up.
As the four survivors continued running they saw with horror several Costa Rican fleet helicopters coming right toward them with missiles ready to fire.
As Grant got closer to the helicopter he recognized Ian Malcolm lieing in a stretcher looking up at them as they ran forward.
Suddenly a horrifing sound was heard as the fleet released the missiles right toward the island below. The first missile hit the Visitor Center with a large explosion accuring right behind them and the impact was causing the after effect to come right toward them. The explosive cloud continued to chase them as they ran for the helicopter. Harding and the military men jumped back in the helicopter and got ready to take off as they four people were unable to make it before the cloud consumed all four of them and they screamed as the pain of destruction overcame them and they desenigrated.
The helicopter started taking off itself, but however wasn't fast enough to get away in time and the cloud consumed the helicopter also killing Malcolm, Harding, and all of the other people inside instantly.
The Costa Rican Fleet left the area as the island called Isla Nublar lite up in flames from the missiles and destroyed Jurassic Park.

    Epilogue: The Dream Not True

Alan Grant awoke on the military helicopter screaming as loud as he possibly could. He then saw Ellie Satter standing right infront of him. He then spontaniously hugs her tightly and tears fill his eyes as he looks over to see Donald Gennaro, Robert Muldoon, and the two kids staring right at him as well as Hunter Miller whom was sitting down trying to clean a rifle in his hands.
"It's okay Alan," Ellie said rubbing her hands through Grant's hair. "It was only a dream. We're no longer on that dreaded island. We're on our way home."
Grant looked out the window to see several military helicopters firing missiles at Isla Nublar as the island lite up in flames. Grant sighed realizing that everything that had just happened was nothing but a nightmare.

Robert Englund sits in a chair closing a book that he was just reading titled "Alan Grant's New Nightmare". He looks up at his audiance in delight as he sees all of the confusion and tears apon everyone's faces.
"Ladies and gentlemen, what you have just witnessed was a nightmare witnessed from the eyes of a Paleontologist whom is now scared out of his mind to see living dinosaurs. He never wants to again witness any of these aweful animals and hopes that he won't ever again. However in about 8 years he will, and the old nightmares will soon rearise. What I have just told you is to never be repeated to anyone. This story is a mystery to this day and will forever be that way. I thank you for listening to my story."
In the room everyone cheers and claps loudly for the great story they have just heard from this well known star.
Englund stands and starts walking out of the building laughing evily. As he disapears away into the darkness a hat appears on the man's head and long claws apear on his hands.
