Chapter 6 - Abducted, Again...
Charlotte was already speeding off in Spinoboy11's Corvette. Julia's house wasn't far away from her and Evilgrinch's, since Spinoboy11 wasn't living with them, only visiting. She was driving uptown San Francisco to Bellevue, a suburb. Tired of hearing the wind howl in her ears, Charlotte turned on the radio. Suddenly, a loud sound of rap music shattered Charlotte's ears. She quickly twisted the volume knob on the radio to the left, causing the music to fade away.
Charlotte: God damn, Spinoboy!
Charlotte then gently turned the knob to the right, making the radio to gain back its sound. She switched to another station one by one. Since nothing was on, she pressed a button to activate the power on the CD player. Charlotte waited for a song to play. After a few moments, the song "We Ready for Y'all", performed by Archie, was playing. Charlotte looked at the radio in an awkward way and turned it off. She just sighed and enjoyed the scenery. She put on her sunglasses and put the pedal to the metal.
DAN & JULIA'S HOUSE: Charlotte pulled open the shutter door on the front porch and knocked on the main one. A few seconds later, no answer. A minute later, still no answer. Charlotte then realized that the door was unlocked. She went on in and called out for Julia.
Charlotte: Julia? Are you home? Julia?
She couldn't find Julia downstairs, but then figured Julia could be taking a nap. Charlotte slowly walked up the stairs. A few creaks in the stairs could be heard after every step. Finally, she got to the top and continued looking for Julia.
Charlotte: Julia? Are you up here? Hello?
Suddenly, a noise was heard from the bathroom. Charlotte was cautious, and walked steadily towards the bathroom door. She opened it up slowly and burst in immediately. Julia was there, brushing her hair after her bath. Julia was surprised, jumping back towards the wall. Charlotte was scared herself, too, screaming after she saw Julia.
Julia: Charlotte?
Charlotte: Julia!
Julia: What are you doing here?
Charlotte: Well, Evilgrinch told me to come here, thinking it'd be safer.
Julia: I guess he's right. We haven't had a crime here for 14 years!
Charlotte: Whoa!
Julia: Yep.
Charlotte: Sorry to scare you there!
Julia: No, not at all! It's ok. I just didn't hear the door.
Charlotte: I see...well, I'm going to go downstairs, ok? I'll meet you down there.
Julia: All right. I'll be right down. Just let me get dressed.
Charlotte nodded her head and began back down the stairs. As she reached the bottom after a couple of seconds and prepared to walk into the dining room, Charlotte was suddenly hit in the back of the head by someone. She fell to the ground, unconscious. The figure took Charlotte and pulled her to the living room, laying her on the couch. Julia then came running down the stairs. The unknown person sneaked up behind Julia with a cloth in his hand. A bottle was being held in his other hand. A label on it shines, "chloroform". He burst out in great speed, wrapping one arm around Julia's neck and using the other to put the chloroform to her face. Julia fell to the ground, knocked out. At that moment, the figure’s hood fell back. It was RiverWorld, one of SGD's main men. He chuckled maniacally and set Julia on a chair in the living room.
RiverWorld: SGD is going to be proud, heh heh heh heh heh.
RiverWorld walked over to Charlotte and picked her up. He took her to the back of the house and sat her in the back of a pickup truck. RiverWorld then walked back in and carried Julia to the truck. He put a sheet around the back of the old Ford. He laughed again, knowing he'd get a good reward. RiverWorld hopped into the driver's seat and turned on the engine. Then and there, the old Ford 4x4 pickup truck sped off into the day.
