    Wolf Virus - Infection
    By Seth Rex

    EXT. ROAD - NIGHT

Here everything seems peaceful. But soon we see someone
walking down the road. As we get a closer look, this is a
young woman, seemingly naked. She had blood around her
mouth. She seems to be walking down the side of the road.
She's got her arms crossed. She also seems to be shivering.

    EXT. HOUSE - NIGHT

A woman is cleaning a rug in front of her house. She looks
down the road and notices nothing at first. She continues
cleaning the rug. But something makes her look up the road
again. She then sees the girl walking down the road.

    WOMAN
    Oh good god.

She goes into her house and comes out with a blanket. She
    runs over to the girl.

    WOMAN
    Dear are you alright? Say
    something.

The girl just looks at her. The woman can see the blood on
    her mouth.

    WOMAN
    Oh my.

She puts the blanket around the girl and nudges her toward
    the house.

    WOMAN
Come with me dear. We'll get you
    cleaned up and dressed.

    INT. HOUSE - NIGHT

They walk into the house. The girl looks around the house to
see what is going on. She looks at the woman. The woman
pulls out a chair and has the girl sit down. The woman goes
to find a change of clothes for the girl. She comes out with
some fresh underwear and jeans and a shirt.

    WOMAN
You look the size of my daughter
    Lisa.
God bless her, living in the city
now. Comes to visit every once in
    a while.

She puts the clothes on a bed in another room. She then
comes and fetches the girl. She brings the girl to the room.

    WOMAN
You just put those on. Don't
    worry, my daughter won't miss
    those.

The girl just looks at her and looks at the clothes.

    GIRL
    Is there a bathroom?

    WOMAN
Of coarse there is. Come now.
Lets get you dressed and cleaned up
for a bit of a meal. You must be
    hungry.

They walks to the bathroom where the girl looks at herself in
the mirror. She does nothing but she's shivering. She
touches her face where the blood is.

    WOMAN
    Don't worry dear, I won't let
anyone trouble you. I'm the only
    one here at the moment.

She then closes the door. The girl then tries to clean the
blood off. It comes off, but for some odd reason she has the
taste of blood in her mouth. She brushes her teeth and
gargles mouth wash. The taste seems to go away slightly.

The woman walks to the kitchen and sits down.

    WOMAN
    Poor dear. Something must have
frightened her. Just wait till my
    husband gets here.

She then gets to fixing up a bit of supper for the girl.

    WOMAN
    Dear must be hungry.

She walks toward the door and knocks gently.

    WOMAN
    Are you dressed?

The door opens and the girl is dressed in the woman's
    daughter's clothing.

    WOMAN
Good now see how much better you
    feel?

The woman walks back to the kitchen to fix up the meal. She
is ready. The girl walks to the kitchen and sits down. The
woman puts down the meal in front of her and she just garbles
    it down.

    WOMAN
    Oh my you were hungry.

The girl just looks at her.

    GIRL
    More please.

    WOMAN
    Sure thing.

She takes the plate and put out another helping of dinner.
She then give sit to the girl, who this time takes it slowly.

    WOMAN
    Quite an appetite.

She then sits down to watch the girl.

    WOMAN
    Where do you come from?

The girl looks at the woman. She seems to be thinking. She
doesn't remember now. All she does remember is camping, and
a forest...and A house. But there are empty spaces between
certain places in her memory that stop her from understanding
just how she got on the road, walking naked.

    GIRL
    I can't remember.

    WOMAN
That's OK dear. You rest now.
    Your safe.

Then the woman goes to fix up a bed for the girl. The girl
looks around. Everything is new to her. Its as if she's
been reborn. She looks to where the woman had gone. She
stands up. The dinner is gone again from the plate.

The girl walks to the room where the woman is. She looks at
the bed, then to the woman.

    GIRL
    Who are you?

    The woman turns to her.

    WOMAN
Oh my name is Peggy, dear.

    Peggy readies the bed.

    PEGGY
Come dear, time to rest. I'm sure
you've had a long walk. Time to
    sleep dear.

The girl walks toward the bed and lays down on it. She looks
    at the woman.

    PEGGY
I'll be outside the door if you
    need me.

The girl nods her head and then slowly closes her eyes.
Peggy walks out the room and slowly closes the door so that
the girl can rest in peace.

    EXT. ROAD - MOMENTS LATER

A car is driving down the road. Driving the car, Harold
thinks he spots a car in the distance. As Harold drives his
car closer, he sees that it is a car.

    HAROLD
    What the hell?

He parks the car on the side of the road and gets out. He
walks toward the other car, that apparently has the two left
side doors open. He walks and sees blood on the seats.

    HAROLD
    Dear god.

He hears movement in the woods around him. He, pulling out a
flashlight from his own car, flashes the light into the
forest. He sees nothing. He gets back into his car and
begins to back up. Suddenly something runs across the road.
Harold is nervous, because he thinks it is an animal.
Suddenly something knocks on the window and he looks out.
    Its a man.

    ADAM
Excuse me. Have you seen a girl
    around here?

Harold Takes a breath of relief.

    HAROLD
No sir. Excuse me but you gave me
a right fright. Thought there was
    something in the woods.

    ADAM
    I do apologize.

There is a sound from nearby.

    HAROLD
    Did you hear that?

Adam looks around to see where it came from.

    HAROLD
    Where are you housed?

    ADAM
    Other side of the woods.

    HAROLD
    Come on get inside. Sounds
    dangerous whatever it is.

Adam gets into his car. They drive off. As we look down on
the road, we see the body of a person, as it slowly moves
towards the space where the car was.

    INT. HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER

Harold and Adam walk into the house.

    HAROLD
Well its not much. But make
    yourself at home.

Adam looks around the house, almost making a sniffing motion.
He smells something that seems familiar to him but only makes
    a mental note of it.

    ADAM
    Not a bad place.

He takes a seat on a chair in the kitchen. He notes that a
plate has been used for food.

    ADAM
    Got a wife?

    HAROLD
    Yeah. Should be around here.
    Peggy we got a guest.

    Peggy walks into the room.

    PEGGY
Oh Harold who is your friend?

    HAROLD
    This here is...you know I don't
    even know your name.

    ADAM
    That's alright. Its Adam ma'am.

    PEGGY
Ah well Adam have a spot of supper.

She readies some dinner for Adam and Harold.

    PEGGY
Harold I found a girl walking the
    street earlier tonight.

    HAROLD
    A girl? What's a girl doing here
    at night, walking the street?

    PEGGY
That's not the worse of it. Poor
dear looked like she was attacked
    or something. Was naked.

    HAROLD
Now that's strange. Ain't heard of
any attacks in this area before.
    What about you Adam?

    ADAM
Not that I know of. I've heard
    some kids running and screaming
around the forest where I live but
as far as I know, nobody's been
    attacked.

Adam is hiding something. He thinks that this girl may be
the one he's looking for, but how does he find out without
    making the family suspicious.

    ADAM
This girl...what did she look like?

    HAROLD
Adam here is looking for a girl.
How I met up with him. Asked me if
    I saw a girl.

Adam looks at Harold for a few seconds. Adam now has no
reason to hide his search for the girl.

    ADAM
    He's correct. Apparently she went
    lost.

    PEGGY
Well then. Lets have a look see if
    its your girl.

Peggy leads Adam to the door where the girl is. Adam slowly
opens the door a bit. He takes a look to see the girl, and
unknown to Peggy, he smiles. He then closes the door.

    ADAM
    She's a pretty girl.

    PEGGY
    So is she your girl?

    ADAM
    Couldn't get a good look. Don't
want to wake her. I'll come back
tomorrow in my truck. I'll be
    heading off now.

    HAROLD
    I'll take you back.

    ADAM
    Thank you.

Adam and Harold leave the house. Peggy looks back at the
door, and then leaves to her own room.

    Meanwhile...

The girl is dreaming. She is having a nightmare. She
envisions an attack, it seems as if it's her attacking
    someone. Suddenly...

INT. HOUSE - BEDROOM - MORNING

She wakes up. She looks out one of the windows. Its morning
now. She sits up and puts her head in her hands. She gets
up and decides to explore the house.

    INT. HOUSE - MAIN ROOM

She walks out into the main part of the house and sees Peggy
in the kitchen fixing breakfast. She decides to walk to the
    kitchen.

    GIRL
    Hello.

    Peggy turns and smiles.

    PEGGY
    Hello dear. Are you well?

    GIRL
    I guess so.

    PEGGY
Well I hope your hungry. I've
cooked up a bit of breakfast for
    you and the husband.

Harold, the girl notices, is on the phone.

    HAROLD
    Yes...I should have reported this
last night but I didn't want to
bother you. Its out on the road.
Should still be there I'm sure.
Great. I was there and so was a
man named Adam. He was there where
the car was a little later as i
heard the sounds in the forest.
Yes I'll be there later today. Of
    course, good to know.

    Harold hangs up the phone.

    HAROLD
Well if this isn't the young lady
Peggy's told me about. I see your
    better.

    GIRL
    Yes thank you.

She sits down. They join her. Peggy sets out the breakfast
    for them.

    PEGGY
So dear, tell us about yourself.

    The girl looks at them.

    GIRL
    My name is Tiffany.

    PEGGY
    Tiffany. That's a pretty name.
What's a pretty girl doing here
    naked?

Tiffany can't seem to remember why she was walking down that
    road.

    TIFFANY
    I don't know. I remember camping,
    being attacked by an animal...a
house. I was back at the car.

Harold looks interested when she mentions the car. He has a
recollection of the car that was found at the side of the
    road.

    HAROLD
    The car must be hers.

    PEGGY
    Poor dear must have been
    traumatized. Were you alone dear?

    TIFFANY
    No I had friends.

    HAROLD
    They ditched her. Plain and
    simple.

Tiffany looks at the floor. She's trying to remember what
    happened to her friends.

    TIFFANY
    Attacked.

    PEGGY
    What?

    TIFFANY
    They were attacked. By something.

    HAROLD
    By what? What was it?

    TIFFANY
    I can't remember.

    EXT. HOUSE - LATER

Tiffany stands around outside. She looks around at the road.
Harold walks outside of the house.

    HAROLD
I'm going to the car I found.
    Fancy a ride?

    TIFFANY
    Sure.

She gets into his car with him. They drive off.

    EXT. ROAD - ABANDONED CAR

Harold parks his car on the opposite side of the road to
where the abandoned car is. Tiffany gets out of the car and
    walks across the street.

Harold is waiting for the cop to arrive, which should be
soon. Tiffany is looking at the car. She gets a flash of
the car the night it stopped moving. She walks and looks
into the car itself. She then looks at Harold.

    TIFFANY
    I remember this car.

    Harold looks at her.

    HAROLD
    You do?

    TIFFANY
We drove it the day we went
    camping.

    HAROLD
    Well that's something.

Harold looks on as the cop, Dickens, finally arrives. He
pulls the car behind the abandoned car, and gets out.

    DICKENS
Sorry for the lateness Harold. Had
a bit of a late start.

    HAROLD
    That's fine. Got some info
according to this girl. Her name
    is Tiffany. Apparently her friends
and her were driving this car.
They must have went camping in the
    woods near here.

    DICKENS
Really? Why would they leave it
    here of all places.

    HAROLD
    Don't know. Lets ask her.

They turn to the girl, Tiffany. Tiffany looks at them.

    TIFFANY
    I don't know why.

    Dickens walks over to her.

    DICKENS
    You don't remember anything about
    the nature of this incident.

Tiffany shakes her head. Dickens turns to Harold.

    DICKENS
Anyone live near here. Maybe they
    saw something, or know something
about the these teens that went
    camping here.

    HAROLD
There is a guy named Adam that
    lives opposite these woods...there

He says as he points toward the woods where he's facing his
    car.

    HAROLD (CONT'D)
He might know something about them,
if they were in these woods. He
    hears kids running around.
    Possibly he saw them.

    Dickens nods his head.

    DICKENS
You go back to your house. I'll
handle this Adam and get back to
    you.

    HAROLD
    Right. Come on Tiffany.

Harold and Tiffany go back to his car and they get in, and
drive off back to the car. This leaves Dickens there at the
abandoned car. He looks towards the woods.

He goes to his car, gets his gun, makes sure its loaded, and
holsters it. He also takes a tape recorder for taking notes.
He then walks into the woods.

    EXT. WOODS - DAY

Dickens walks through the woods. He's looking for any
indication of the teens having gone camping. He looks around
and keeps going. Soon he enters a clearing. In front of him
is the remains of what appears to be a tent. He takes his
tape recorder and makes a note

    DICKENS
There appears to be a tent. This
is sufficient evidence of the teens
    going camping. Checking out the
    house that Harold mentioned.
Perhaps the owner of the house
    knows of these teens.

He walks further through to the other side of the woods.

EXT. ADAM'S HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER

Dickens walks out to the clearing where Adam's house is. He
walks over to the door and knocks. Nobody seems to answer.
Dickens waits. He knocks again. Still nobody answers.

    DICKENS
    Hello? Is anyone there?

Nobody answers. He decides to look around the house. He
walks down the front steps and walks around the house. He
walks towards the back of the house where he sees a barn.
There is still nobody to be found.

Dickens walks towards the barn, thinking that someone is in
there. As he walks closer, he hears a sort of banging on the
    walls.
He takes out his gun, and walks cautiously around the barn to
see where the door is. He slowly walks to where the door is,
and then slowly opens it. He walks in and there in front of
him on the other side, is a teenager zombie. The zombie is
banging into the wall. Dickens doesn't know its a zombie
yet. He thinks its a confused kid.

    DICKENS
    You there. What's your name?

The zombie turns and notices Dickens. He then walks slowly
towards him. It is now that Dickens can tell that something
is wrong with the teen. The teen hisses. This for the
audience, is Jackson. He hisses and is ready to pounce at
    Dickens. Dickens raises his gun.

    DICKENS
Don't come any closer. Stay where
    you are.

The zombie obviously doesn't listen. He moves ever closer to
    Dickens.

    DICKENS
Stop or I'll shoot. Damn it I'll
    do it.

The zombie Jackson moves closer. Dickens shoots Jackson in
the leg but it doesn't even phase him. The zombie Jackson is
ready to pounce at him. Just as Jackson does, Dickens shoots
him in the head. Jackson falls dead.

    DICKENS
    Jesus.

He stands there with his gun pointed upward, looking at what
he had just shot. He then leaves in a hurry to get to his
    car.

    INT. HOUSE - EVENING

Harold and Tiffany walk out of the car. Harold looks around
he looks at Tiffany, which for some reason now doesn't look
    too good.

    HAROLD
Are you OK? You don't look too
    good.

    TIFFANY
    I'm OK. Need rest.

They walk into the house. Tiffany walks into her rented
bedroom to rest. Harold walks to the kitchen to sit down and
drink something. Suddenly there's a knocking on the door.

    HAROLD
    Door's unlocked!

Dickens walks into the house and closes the door behind him.
He then walks to the kitchen.

    DICKENS
There's more to that man than you
    know.

    HAROLD
    Why what is it?

    DICKENS
I went looking for Adam, and he was
not there. Looking around, I found
what appeared to be a zombie in his
barn. I shot it dead. Whatever he
had in his barn, it wasn't human.

At this news, Harold takes a big swig of his drink. He gets
up and pours himself another glass of whatever he was
    drinking.

    HAROLD
    Want something?

    DICKENS
    No thanks.

    HAROLD
Want to stay for dinner? Your off
duty by now anyway aren't you?

    Dickens looks at his watch.

    DICKENS
Yeah actually I am. Why not.

INT. HOUSE - KITCHEN - LATER - NIGHT

Peggy walks into the kitchen as she's cooking up the dinner.

    PEGGY
Poor dear is not feeling well at
all. I had her go to bed.

    HAROLD
Well she's going to miss dinner
    then.

    PEGGY
I'll save her some for later if she
    feels up to it.

She sets the plates and gives them the dinner. Suddenly
there's a knock at the door.

    PEGGY
    Now who could that be?

    HAROLD
Don't know. Might as well get the
    door.

Peggy goes to the door and opens it.

    PEGGY
    Oh Harold it's Adam.

Dickens looks at the man that had just appeared at the door.
He gets up and walks to the door.

    DICKENS
So you must be Adam. I'm Dickens,
of the police. I was at your house
    earlier today but you weren't
    there.

    ADAM
I must have been away at the time.
I do apologize. May I come in?
    I'm here for the girl.

    PEGGY
The poor dear's not feeling too
    well. She's currently asleep.
Come have a spot of dinner with us.

    ADAM
That's OK, but I ate already.

Adam walks into the house. He again seems to be sniffing the
    air.

    ADAM
    Must be quite delicious though.

    HAROLD
I should hope so, I'm about to eat
    it.

    They both chuckle a bit.

    ADAM
You said she wasn't feeling to
    well?

    PEGGY
The girl was drenched in sweat and
    she looked rather unhealthy.

    ADAM
Must be the weather getting to her.

Suddenly a growl is heard in the room where Tiffany is.
Everyone looks to where the room.

    DICKENS
Well I'll be. Didn't know you had
    a dog.

Harold looks at Dickens for a moment, stands up and walks to
where they all are standing. He's still looking at the room.
    All he can say is...

    HAROLD
    We don't.

    The growl is heard again.

    PEGGY
    Harold I'm nervous. Tiffany's in
    that room.

    HAROLD
OK I'll go check it out. Give me
    your gun Dickens.

Dickens hands him the gun and Harold walks slowly to the
door. He opens it and looks inside. He then slips inside
slowly, but is then dragged into the room quickly. We hear
the screams of Harold and blood pours through the bottom of
    the door.

    PEGGY
    Oh Harold!

Adam sees this and backs Peggy away. Dickens takes her into
his arms. Adam walks closer to the door. The sound of the
growling is heard again. He opens the door wide.
There is Tiffany, in werewolf form, with the dead body of
Harold. She jumps over the body and runs into the main room
of the house. Adam goes into the room and grabs the gun. He
then aims at the werewolf and shoots but misses as Tiffany
wolf is moving. The Tiffany wolf turns and looks at Adam,
    growling.

    ADAM
    Get out of here!

Dickens takes Peggy and they leave the house.

    EXT. HOUSE - NIGHT

Dickens and Peggy stand outside the door. Dickens tries to
    get her into his car.

    INT. HOUSE - MAIN ROOM

Adam points the gun at Tiffany wolf as it growls at him.
Adam is very careful to not make any sudden movements. Being
a werewolf himself, he knows this type of behavior. He then
suddenly aims at Tiffany wolf's head and shoots. Tiffany
wolf is dead...or so he thinks. She suddenly springs to life
    and pounces Adam.

    EXT. HOUSE - NIGHT

Peggy is finally in the car and Dickens gets inside himself.
He then starts the car and drives off. Suddenly the werewolf
breaks out of the door and runs off. Adam walks out of the
house and looks at the car driving off. He then begins
    chasing the Tiffany wolf.

    EXT. FOREST - NIGHT

Adam walks through the forest, making sure to check in all
directions so that Tiffany wolf doesn't jump out at him. In
the forest ahead of him, is Tiffany wolf. It is growling at
    him. He pauses.

    ADAM
I know you. Its my fault your like
this. I have to end it.

He then aims the gun and fires off the remaining rounds of
the gun into Tiffany wolf. The wolf seems to die. All
that's left is the girl. Adam walks toward the girl and
looks at her in pity and remorse. He then walks away.

    Black screen.

    ADAM (V.O.)
    I don't know why I didn't turn into
a wolf and she did. What I do know
si that there are no such things as
    werewolves. All there is...is a
virus. An infection. There is no
need for silver bullets. In the
end she died like any other animal
    dies.

INT. ADAM'S HOUSE - YEARS LATER

Adam is sitting in a chair, with a gun

    ADAM (V.O.)
    There's never been a cure. There's
no such use in wolf's bane. We are
who we are. We are what we are.

Adam puts the gun to his head and pulls the trigger.

    CUT TO: BLACK

    ADAM (V.O.)
    We are the damned.
