Creationist's Theory Ch. 2: The Ceremony By RaptureManD
Houston, Texas
Four hooded figures stood among flickering candles in the dimly lit room. Their features were hidden by the long black robes that cascaded from their heads to the floor. Their heads bent low as their mouths moved in silent prayer. After a few moments, one removed his hood. Damien Giovanni then reached into his robe and withdrew the tube filled with the precious liquid. The others never moved, continuing their private mantras. And now Damien could feel it. His hair stood on end. The Father was there. It was now his job to please the Father, and please Him he would. "Open my eyes, so that I might see you, Father," he pleaded softly. Instantly, a man in a white tunic stood before him. A soft glow eminated from His long, blond hair. This was the Father. Damien knew what had to be done. Slowly, he lifted the vial toward his god. "Into Thy hands I commit this drop of life," he said reverently, "I sincerely hope that it aide you in cleansing and enlightening earth." Without a sound, the Father reached for the vial. But He did not take it. Instead, His body began to shimmer and dissolve. Soon He had congealed into nothing but a dark mist that hovered above them. Suddenly, with blinding speed, it sucked right into the vial. The incredible power entering it forced Damien's hand down, trembling violently. The DNA within began to glow green. From the air around them, a voice spoke. "Well done my good and faithful servant. Because of your stedfastness, I will reveal my true name to you. In return for a sacrifice of blood." Damien nodded to his companions, who snapped out of their reveries. "It is time," he said. Silently, each man drew a knife to his own throat. "My true name is... Lucifer," the voice spoke. Damien smiled triumphantly as three fountains of blood coated the room a dark shade of red.
