When TLW opened in Mexico in August '97, it was beaten at the box office by an unlikely competitor: the film 'Volcano'. The reason? A real volcano was waking up in the surrounding area at the time.

Wow, there were some very good descriptions at the beginning of this. I was quite amazed actually, as you obviously know what you're talking about! Well, those artistic descriptions really helped me to visualise the setting. Not too much dialogue as of yet, but what little there was of it, was quite good. Not any character development yet, but that's no worry seeing as this feels like nothing more than an introduction. All we have so far are names; Tucker, Chapman, and some guy called Andrew Lewis, lol. I feel that Tucker and Chapman will turn out to be more central characters later on.

And then we have this BLM. It's quite obvious that Chapman doesn't like these people, and I'm curious to hear more about them and what has caused the disliking.

Overall, a very good introduction. Great descriptive wording, and a nice set-up.
