When the author of Trial By Fire says something's is outstanding, you know you're doing something right.

Spoof after spoof after spoof after spoof...nothing is sacred here...I don't know how you do it. Outstanding!

brilliant, loved the mixture of spoofs.

Especially the combining of spidey 2 and POTC. And the lion king one was very amusing.

I am quite enjoying this story :D

Great stuff - Ford - very entertaining. Great variety of spoofs incorporated from different genre's rather than just the flavour of the moment top 3 action flicks.

Off to read part 3 now!

I'm loving this! That JAWS quote used by Host was PRICELESS! Nice to see the Fellowship of the Code is now formed. These Lion King references are very comical. prefect, keep up the good work!

Great chapter! I liked the TLK stuff, it was funny! I got a little confused at the part where they're talking about the bus and the motorbikes, though. Good work! =)

Its pretty good man. Small errors here and there, but overall it's good.

Long saga, eh? I'll sure as hell be reading.

Thank you Dac for your comment! Thank you!

'I'm calling myself foul by doing it!'

well, that was the joke, but if you feel uneasy and want me to change to 'Victorians' then I shall!

    Thanks again, Dac

    What the...I'm a Gimli/Luke character?

    ...

    ...w00t!

Only problem: that whole "I hate AUstralians" line...would you mind changing that to Victorians? That is where Hunter lives and it would mean I'm not sticking a knife into my country...I mean...yeah, the idea of me saying that is disturbing. I'm calling myself foul by doing it!

Other than that, funny! QC and Parasaur as TLK is sic as all hell!

Hmmmm...thanks for the tip. If I run out of good plot ideas though, i'll just end it. If I am able to make a smooth continuation, i'll do it!

At 6:51:21 PM on 8/1/2004, Aragorn said:
What you can do, if you run out of ideas after awhile, is kind of end one plot, but before the end of the chapter, have something that introduces the next main plot.

At 6:40:10 PM on 8/1/2004, fordprefect said:
    long saga it is!

At 6:32:11 PM on 8/1/2004, Aragorn said:
Seeing as how this is the first fan fic in a very long time I've actualy been able to get into while reading, I suggest a long saga, but just do whatever feels right for you.

Thanks Dino-snore - make a guess at why I called the bus the BLUE EAGLE.

'There *wre* a few small spelling and grammer errors'

Ha ha! yeah i noticed them too. Thanks for pointing them out. I might change them...I might not. I also spell bus 'bu' so I might go change that as well.

'is it a safe asumption to make, if I guess that I end up saying that line from 'The Princess Bride'?'

    ...^$^%#$#& What are you psychic!!...I mean..uh...maybe.

I have no idea how many chapter's there will be. What do you recommend - a long saga or short and sweet?

At 6:18:27 PM on 8/1/2004, Aragorn said:
There wre a few small spelling and grammer errors, but nothing big. Diffinitly nothing that takes away from the story. (Most of them are towards the end, when talking about the moderator's motorcycles. You keep switching bewteen 'him' and 'them' (Refering to moderators) and 'it' and 'them' (Refering to the bikes.)

Overall though, it was another great entry with transitions between spoofs being practicly seemless, flowing very well together. (Although being called 'cute' by Quick Comment kinda scares me, lol).

Oh, and putting together what I know of from The Lion King and Star Wars, and what I'm seeing devolop, is it a safe asumption to make, if I guess that I end up saying that line from 'The Princess Bride'?

Can't wait for Chapter 3! How many chapters are there going to be?
