Thanks, JPJunkee...the high praises are really going to my head now...:)
But, to be perfectly honest, I have to say that while this is my first fanfic, it isn't my first foray into writing. I've churned out lots of short stories--most of them bad--so I've done more storytelling than the words "first fanfic" imply. Still, I'm glad you're enjoying it, and I'm glad you're impressed, because this is my first attempt at a publicly-displayed story, and my first attempt at publishing by chapter (I can't begin to guess how many times I've stopped in the middle of a chapter and said "Wait! Damn! I can't say "A" here, because it conflicts with "B" in that chapter I already posted!) This has been a lot of fun so far, and the feedback has been fantastic. I look forward to reading what people have to say about each chapter as much as I look forward to the actual writing. Stay tuned...Chapter Nineteen is coming to a boil even as we speak :)

But you seem to do it with such ease, that it's downright incredible! Nearly flawless even.
I've read many JP fanfics at this site. I've liked a lot of them, and frowned on even more of them. But this honestly, has to be one of my favorite JP fics that I've ever read. And it's your first fanfic. Uncanny!
I look forward to more!

Thanks, Yvonne and Crisco, for the positives...
Yvonne, as always, your support is greatly appreciated. You've hung in there with this story, even through the parts that I myself wasn't so sure about :) Glad to see you're still hooked :) (and something told me you'd like Lex giving Rick the cold shoulder...just a hunch) And Crisco--I had no idea you were still reading! I remember getting feedback from you early on, but I thought I'd lost you along the way. I'm glad you're enjoying it...the use of words like "best" and "phenomenal" are the things that keep me ticking :) ...and just when I was going to start whining that I only had three readers!) Thanks for the great feedback...and for anyone who's wondering, chapter 19 is well under way :)

this is the BEST fan fic i've ever read...the characters and relationships between them are phenomenal. I've been waiting for a long time for a fanfic with lex, and you write her just as i imagined she would be. keep up the awesome work, i am printing out the final copy of the story

The Bradford/Malcolm stuff stood out in this chapter, and I'm glad to see Malcolm getting some well-deserved help. And Bradford is a sneaky little guy, too! :)
Grant getting weaker is a definite problem for the group, but I'm hoping that Tim and company have adequate supplies, in which to help him out.
And I'm with Lex. Hitching a ride home with ax-murderers would definitely be better than getting chased by dinos. Her giving Rick the cold shoulder was humorous, too. Give him hell, Lex! :)
