Star Wars fans might recognize the redwood forests Ian & Co. walk through in TLW as Endor from ROTJ -- the same Northern California forests were used. (From: 'Vader')

Thanks one and all for the comments...

Yvonne: YOU are starting to like Rick? That's hard to believe...I bet it won't last...

You people seem to suspect Markinson for some reason...geez, he seems like a real stand-up guy to me...

And if you like the comical delusions, I think I might be able to squeeze in one or two more, if it fits the circumstances.

    Martin Randle: Brilliant? BRILLIANT?

I really, really like that word :)

Dinonut: Thanks for the kind words :) I had no idea when you were reading along. It's always nice to discover someone else has come on board...

Thanks again one and all for the praises.

    Stay tuned...

Yet another kick ass chapter! The action is top notch, the characters are enormously entertaining to read about, and the attention to detail is awesome. Just great stuff.

My favorite part in this chapter, would have to be the part where Grant stood up for himself, and demanded to ride the pony! I applauded him, and his courage in that scene. It takes a lot to stand up to Cross, and he did it without even blinking. . . granted he fell asleep afterwards, but that's beside the point.

And I still don't trust Markison. Either he's a bloody drunk who never finished Elementary school, or he's working for Eichmann. . . I can't decide.

And now they have an anti-venom! Woohoo! I'm looking forward to it causing Grant to have more delusions! . . . okay, so I want Grant to get better, but the delusions are cool!

Anyway! Great stuff, and I look forward to more.

Another chapter with dino action! Very awesome! I'm not sure how you did it, but I'm starting to like Rick a little now. And just when I started to like him, I thought he was going to get killed, which made for a nice intense moment. Good job.

Grant and his childhood remembrances/delusions were quite comical and brought a nice change in the mood of the story. And Lyndsey reaching out and stroking a wisp of hair back across Grant's temple was a nice little touch, showing how much she cares about him.

The standoff with Tim and the raptors was extremely well written, too. And what is with Markinson!? He's been annoying before, but now he's becoming an actual threat, with his run first ... ask questions later methods. What an idiot. lol. I'm seriously wondering if he's responsible for all of Rick's gun problems too. I'm still keeping an eye on him!

Lastly, I'm very relieved that some sort of anti-venom was found to help Grant out. I'm looking forward to how that pans out.

I'm still hooked. Maybe even more hooked to this story than before, so keep it coming!

    :)
