Loved the description used there, the dinosaur wasn't sure what was going on.But surely they shoulda brought more TOW missiles...
Great story.

LOL, great line! This line in itself is proof that you have captured the essence of Malcolm well.
And yay, spino got his brains splattered! Woohoo! That was cool, and nasty! Just the way I like it!
Keep up the good work!

Thanks again for the comments...

BTW, nice logo there.
Keep up the great work! :)

I'm always happy to receive comments about characterization--because that's the part that seems to require the most effort. It was very important to me to get rid of the Spinosaurus early on...I just never liked that guy. In my mind, Tyrannosaur is the undisputed Master of the Beasts...
Thanks again, and stay tuned!

And then I thought wildly for a mo about Lex--the life-jacket scene in the JP Novel. Then the Spinosaurus got its head blown off! This is the best chapter so far. I love it. But, again, yvonne beat me to commenting. I was going to say about Malcolm's personality captured right ...

The big and brave military guy, acting like a frightened child was cool, too. No one ever seems exactly ready to see these giant man-eating wonders. :)
The little references to the other movies (the tear gas part comes to mind) is a nice little way to connect this story to the ones from before. I like that.
Malcolm isn't ready to give up what he knows, and that certainly is just like him. You've captured his personality very well.
