Well-written as usualy. One little factual error I noticed: it's clear that your class was let out after maybe five minutes, but on your way out, you say to Erin: “I’ve got to get to my next class. I’ll see you later.” Unless you were lying, or your classes are *really* short, this doesn't really make sense.
Sorry to be critical -- speaking as a writer, though, I know that criticism is more valuable than encouragement, at least if you would like to become a great writer.
