Since the JP novel features Land Cruisers, Crichton changed the vehicles to Ford Explorers in the TLW novel to keep in line with the film. In TLW, the film, however, Mercedes cars were used. (From: Acrocanthosaur)

One can definitely feel that the end of the story is near. I've just enjoyed reading this so very much, Vader. I wanted to tell you that.

Sim would be a wonderful movie character IMO. Wouldn't it be great to see someone like that give a surfing analogy speech to the brooding hero at the end of a movie? I think it would make for a very wonderful end, as it does here.

I'm looking forward to how this all ends, too .. especially to see what Erin has written to you. And bonus! Since I read this late, the last chapter is already posted ... so I'm heading there now. :)

Only one more chapter! I'm so glad since TCY sucks! haha just kidding, and spinoboy you are wrong, unless "bra" is some unknown slang term that you Yanks call each other.

Powerful stuff, as always. You have a great knack for conveying the mood of the scene. I can't state enough how much I enjoy reading a story that's so well-written, both technically and artistically. Great work.

Very nicely written, Vader. The amount of power you put into your character's feelings and emotions is extraordinary. Just some really great stuff.

Oh, I'm not sure I mentioned this, but Sim kicks ass! I really like that guy. . . he's always been just a surfer dude, with not much intelligence it seemed, but I liked his little talk about how life is like surfing. . . that was good.

So, one chapter remaining. . . I look forward to the chapter. . . but not the end of the story!

    Anyway, great work Vader.
