What stands out the most in this story, is the writing style and the attention to detail. It's uncanny. I mean, sometimes there is a limit of how much details and descriptions you could write about a person's observations . . . and although this story probably does reach that limit, it's written so well, you almost don't notice. (I wonder if that made sense)

As for the story itself. . . I wondering where it could be going. So far, the only parts of this story that I'm actually taking in, are pretty much your character and how he acts and such. That's neither a good nor a bad thing though, seeing as I haven't really read much yet, and haven't gotten to see the entire story.

Anyway, I look forward to more!

I've caught up with your story and I'm glad I did. In Support of the Academy is wonderfully written and is graced with elements I think most of us can identify with. The characters, some making brief appearances, are well constructed and I guess that's because they parallel people in your own life, but either way, they are interesting. You are a great write and I hope to see more of In Support of the Academy soon. Great work!

Yeah, the Academy's pretty important. I guess, in some sense, the book is more about the Academy than any characters within it. As for Harold and Laura, I'm deliberately deceptive. Those characters are abandoned wholesale right about . . . now. You don't hear about them again. You *will*, if I ever finish this, hear about them again near the end. Then, and only then, is the full back-story revealed.

But thanks so much for your comments! I hope you enjoy the rest.

The written words you put together make something quite easy to read, but I feel like I've missed something.

I want to know more about this Harold and why you seem to hold his opinions so high. All I've really seen of him is being shirtless, doing drugs, and blowing you a kiss. lol.

I feel there was a little too much detail about the school, but I'm assuming that this is where a lot of your life will change, so I think the details might play a big part in everything ... giving the school its own personality.

I'm anxious to read the second half of this part. Hopefully we'll see more interaction between yourself and the others around you ... and to see if Laura showed up (if this is the same Seminar discussed in Part I).

It's good and, as a whole, I'm liking it so far. :)
