Nicely done. I eagerly await future chapters, and ditto on the appaearance of Billy. Will we see the incidents regarding Malcolm and Hammond in flashbacks, or are they in line with their deaths in the novel...

Once again, great addition in the story, and ah man, didn't expect the waiter to be Billy. Very nice touch. ;)

Further to the comments! I have just read the entirity of this series. Great reading, though when read in one long run it is kind of slow. There is very little action just some shopping and hanging around a hotel. I guess this is a character study, but it would be nice to see some developments, however you can't lead it up to the start of the movie version of TLW as you have followed the book route and killed off Ian and John.

I am enjoying it though as it is very interesting to the fan, and it is extremely well written. As a piece of fiction in its own right though, it lacks any pace or clear direction.

Excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed that - this especially made me laugh:

I got a 14.400 modem for my birthday. It’s the fastest one there is!

Oh heady days! I remember having a 9600 just before 14,400 modems came out (what were they - Ł300 or something)!

Nice to see Billy make an appearance. That was a twist I didn't expect.
