I am enjoying it though as it is very interesting to the fan, and it is extremely well written. As a piece of fiction in its own right though, it lacks any pace or clear direction.

Oh heady days! I remember having a 9600 just before 14,400 modems came out (what were they - Ł300 or something)!
Nice to see Billy make an appearance. That was a twist I didn't expect.
