Very well written & interesting...

I loev the opening battle scene (of course), and I love the end of the chapter with the discovery of the cuts, it was a great way to end and live yvonne said, get people wanting to read more...and being that I am a HUGE fan of stuff like Blade & Devil May Cry (1 & 2) and shit like that, this story just happens to be right up my alley...I'll be moving on to Chp2 shortly... great work!

Very interesting.

I liked the fight scene. It was well written and flowed very well. Like Dino_Dude said, it was eloquent.

Also the stuff including Mark is intriguing.

You've caught my interest, I'll be sure to read more when more time becomes available to me.

Mark, you're a very good storyteller, my friend!

Right away, you grabbed my curiousity and didn't let it go at all. The cuts on his back were a very good way to end the first part. Makes the reader want to know more.

And that's what I'm doing right now. Moving on the Part 2. :)

P.S. Leaving a teenager alone for 2 weeks ... are his parents nuts!?? hehe

Having just played Devil may Cry 2 for the first time, I found myself intrigued at the idea of you writing a story based on the concept.

This was quite good, the dream sequence at the beginning was very well done, written in an elegant way, shall we say.

I'll be checking out more of this for sure. :)

Cheers,

Not bad.

Loved the fight scene at the start it was very well done, though it being a dream (or was it?) was a bit of a let down.

The gashes down Mark's back was a bit of a shock, very interesting indeed.

I enjoyed it a lot.

Rating: 7/10
( i would rate higher but thats all ive read so far, not much action or development as of yet).

PS could Mark be you? subtly placed in the story??
