Very nice story, Mark, really very stylish. I loved how it was all put together, developing and changing with a nice, smooth pace. And the ending was very good. The whole story sort of caught me by surprise, I wasn't expecting zombie stuff, but you handled it so well. I must say I'm impressed, very good stuff, I liked it a lot.

At first, I thought there was going to be some sort of freaky animals attacking people, with how you described the sounds heard. Then Death revealed itself and went down a different road. I love how it was written.
A cool twist at the end, too.
You could become the new King of Horror Short Stories here, taking up where PunkNerd left off. Looking forward to more of these. :)
