You've created some very intriguing characters. And the details are so wonderfully vivid. Shea is a very nicely developed character. I think he's a good hero for the story.
I'm looking forward to Shea possibly meeting up with Sheila. Although I didn't like Sheila at first ... the way she got so into the whole military stuff was cool, so now I kind of like her.
All the details about the gas masks was nifty, too. Did you look all that stuff up or just take some creative licensing?
All in all, excellent story so far. I'm looking forward to more. :)

To answer your question Vito, this story is no way related to RE the movie, or RE the game(s). It's an entirely original scenario. No recurring characters, settings, or problems. Same monsters though! >:D

Anyway, your discriptions are very good, and I really like the blue text items that you have inserted throughout the story as well. That in itself makes it seem even more Resident Evil related.

I particularly like Shelia’s story right now, as well, it is quite suspenseful (and will only become more so as the story progresses) and there are lots of big guns! Hehe. . . Shea and his brother Kelly are also interesting to read about, I wonder where they will come into play later on. . .
