I mentioned a Tarantino influence when I'd only read part of the story, and I'm not changing horses now--it seems you're a fan. I see Reservoir Dogs and hear Pulp Fiction in every paragraph. You've captured that gritty, darkly realistic world in this story in a way that reflects Tarantino's down-and-dirty style and perhaps even rivals it--yet you've created something here that, despite those similarities, remains your very own.

::The apartment was a good twenty minutes away, but they’d make it in ten.::

I was already visualizing Harvey Keitel driving the car (a la Reservoir Dogs), then you pop out with this Winson Wolf-ism :)

And Luther Shores...the name alone ranks him in with that world populated with Nice Guy Eddies and Marcellus Spiveys.

This is good, and I have a feeling it's going to get better.

Keep going! (And tell Luther I commented, I need my legs)

Pete, I'm been a fan of your writing for a while now, and this simply cements that. I was so glad to see your name in the fanfiction section again. :)

The characters are interesting, the situations were well written out, and it was an overall entertaining read so far.

I found it kind of funny that Robby was complaining about being shot at the beginning, and then you learn that he had shot Larry, as well. He has some nerve complaining about the "no guns" rule. lol.

And my personal favorite sentence in this part: "He flopped down lifelessly onto the white leather of the back seat, betraying the faint animation he'd just displayed."

It's descriptions like the above that make your writings so great to read.

Good job. Looking forward to "Saturday" :)

I liked it personally, it's nice to get away from dinos, and read about Coke and blood:)

Very good. Could've used a bit more description of settings and whatnot. But now after reading it, I feel like watching Reservoir Dogs, heh.

Dark, serious, and very atmospheric. I liked every bit of it. The language was pushing it a bit at times, but it was necessary to tell the story.

    I look forward to more!
