For the "Tall Grass Scene" in TLW, Michael Lanteri's effects crew were responsible for planting and growing 8 acres of "elephant grass". The project was started a year in advance to make sure that the grass would be at sufficient height for the scene.

    Very nice.

The character development especially of Alan and Ellie is extremely well done, very intriguing and well written.

The story itself is also very interesting, it makes me want to read a lot more because now i want to know why Grant's needed on Nublar.

Damn you for writing a good story >:(

    ;)

I'm really enjoying this story, Christina. I like what you're doing with the Alan and Ellie characters. They were both well developed here, and so was their daughter. I like reading her inner thoughts.

Donovan seems nice and I hope he continues to help her out. She needs all the assistance she can get, I think.

I think it's probably farther down the line, but I'm looking forward to father and daughter reuniting again.

Nice stuff so far. Keep it up! I wanna read more!

Good chapter! I like the characterizations. So far, the story has mainly relied on the dramatic human elements to keep it going, and it's doing well. I'm liking the Donovan character, he seems like a good guy caught up with the bad people. And his scenes with Chelsea are very nice, they have good chemistry, almost like brother and sister. Well kind of anyway. And Hartfield is still a jackass, a character you love to hate. And a character I look forward to watching die! The plot's moving at a steady pace, and we'll soon be seeing some dino action too, it seems!

One thing I thought was the only downfall in this chapter, is the stuff between Billy and Pete. It seemed like overacting a little bit there, and Billy was just a little too dramatic.

But aside from that, I really enjoyed the chapter. Nicely done!

And as always, I'm looking forward to more. :)

Nice characterisations, very human. You handle dialogue and detail very well.

I look forward to seeing how you incorporate the dinosaurs.

Plot wise, so far it is very much like JP3. The kidnapping plot, was handled very well by JPJunkee and Yvonne in Jurassic Park Dawn of Retribution. Is rather similar to how Johnson handled getting Grant to Sorna under false pretenses.

Treat that as an observation rather than a criticism.

I like the way you've portrayed Alan and Ellie. OK in the movies these aren't the deepest characters that have ever walked the silver screen, but we know 'em and love 'em. And it's good to see them together and showing some deeper emotions.

I think Chelsea is a feisty chic and can handle herself well enough once free to do so.

Like most movies/stories the good guys and bad guys are always very black and white. But in real life even the best people have dark sides to their personality and even the most evil sociopath has reediming features. Mostly bad versus good is simply a matter of choices, and who emplys you. So it is good to see a character like Donovan emerging who has many such grey areas which make him potentially very interesting.

Good work any way, I llok forward to the next chapter.
