Literally amazing, the last chapter was great, i loved the narration as it was top notch, this last chapter was the best of the best, if of course we cut out the cheesy heaven fiasco at the start with Alan's father which i didn't care for, sorry, each to his own.

The whole expedition to Sorna was unexpected as was the diseased man, though i love it as it sets up a new way for a sequel.

    Cannot wait for the sequel.

    9.5/10

Wow. . . . thank you, Bry Bry. Those were some very kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the story as much as you did. Sorry about the flaws in the grammar and punctuation, I'll admit that is a downfall in my writing. And I'm glad you pointed out the fact, that the story was rather dark. I was aiming for a dark tone for the story. . . .

Anyway, I'm very happy you were able to finish the story, and I'm elated that you enjoyed it as much as you did. I value your views, and to know that you thought SoH was as good as you say it is, actually makes me somewhat proud. Thank you. :)

I decided to read it all in one shot today. I must say that I was highly impressed. Aside from the grammar and puncuation problems (which are, of course, not that big a deal, seeing as it's only a fan-fic), I couldn't believe my eyes. It's a very powerful story, no doubts there. It makes sense, unlike many fan-fics that I've had the displeasure of reading in the past (where it's just people running around and getting eaten). This one has a point that I think is conveyed through the whole thing. I also like the darkness factor. I mean, you put me to shame, bro. I like dark and dark is what my stories are, but yours is like pitch black until the very end. Quite effective. The dinosaurs were not overused (like other fan-fics) and there was just enough gun action to make me jump with glee. I like the Generation thing, but I can't help but think "Deep Blue Sea." LoL. Very nice job, Kyle. I mean, really, really, really good job.

9/10 (grammar and punctuation: it kinda irritated me while I was reading such good stuff)

P.S. Good dream sequences, Kyle. I'm rubbing off on you. Oh, and if you want, you can use this for your post.

Thanks Vader! Comments of high praise coming from a writer of such high esteem as yourself, brings a great smile to my face.

But, I must say, I never thought in a million years, that I'd be throwing you out a window. . . . what sad days these are. . . . :::throws Vader out a window:::

And I hope you will enjoy the next sequel as much as you have enjoyed SoH. Oh and btw, all credit for the logo should go to Yvonne. Bravo to her! :)

Fantastic conclusion to a very entertaining and consistently quality Fan-Fic. And you know you're closing comment was so inticing, I think I will partake of the verboten! (starts to copy the story).

    ;P

Seriously though, I've really enjoyed this story. The next looks just as good, and nice work on the logo.

Thank you very much for the comment, jmock5.

There's more to the sequel than what the trailer lets on. And I'm confident that it will be better than Shadows of History.

    Thanks again!

Awesome job, JP Junkee. The story was incredible. I loved every bit of it.
The last chapter was breathe taking. I was really impressed with the heaven talk with Grant's dad, and am also happy that Grant pulled through to be with Leah.
The sequel looks very interesting. I can't wait for you and Yvonne to release it. You guys have hard work in front of you creating a sequel as good as Shadows of History, but I'm sure it will be just as good or better.

I have often thought having the original JP cast "kidnapped" and brought back to an island would be a great plot. I know you and Yvonne will do wonders with your idea for the sequel: )

Thanks for the comments, Vito! Always appreciated.

I'm glad you liked the ending as well. But you feel this one of the best JP stories ever? Wow. . . . uhh, I'm speechless, lol. But thanks! :)

The virus in the sequel isn't exactly DX, but something like it. . . . I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't comment on that anymore.

I wanna say thank you for pointing out Dr. Harding's real first name. There has been a search for that name over the last couple days, and we just haven't found it. But now that I know it's Gerry. . . . the name will be changed (I guess). And Dr. Gerry Harding isn't Sarah's dad, well, at least not in our story.

And you may be seeing where the dog went to in the sequel, but I'm not saying. . . (I can't believe I'm teasing someone over the appearance of a dog, wow)

    Anyway, thanks a lot!

That was an amazing ending to one of the best JP stories ever. I started crying when Grant and his dad were having the talk in Hevan. That was just amazing and a really strong way to begin the chapter. You really have a way of putting great emotion into a story.

I liked that Ellie and Sarah both got cameos at the end. That was really cool in my opinion actually. To bad that Eric Kirby didn't, but I'm ok with that.

I liked how you explained what happened to all of the survivors after their trip was over. That was quite nice, however, you never mentioned what happened to the dog at the end:( I'd really like to know where he went to.

Your epilogue was very interesting as well. That was a really good set up for the DX virus, if that's the virus that you're going to use for this story.

The trailer for the sequel was really awesome! The only thing that I feel I need to say about that though is that Dr. Harding's first name was Gerry. I don't know if you had a reason for changing the first name or if you just didn't know that the movie version of his character already had a frist name or not. Also, is he still going to be Sarah's dad?

Well, I still can't wait for the sequel. I'm sure that it's going to be just as good as Shadows of History.

Thanks for commenting, Yvonne. I'm glad you enjoyed the ending.

And thanks to everything else you said (you said a lot, lol). And yeah, that logo's pretty nifty, eh? :)

I, for one, felt like the ending was perfect. You managed to put a suitable ending to everything, and bringing Ellie and Hammond into the end was a great idea. I really liked the bickering between Malcolm and Hammond, too. Very good and very funny, as well.

I'm beyond happy to see that Leah and Grant were able to, first, make a connection ... and then, secondly, were able to keep that connection alive. And I loved how Leah refused to leave his side.

I must say, though, that I wasn't quite expecting such a nice thank-you, Kyle. I'm glad I was able to help you out, and I'm very much looking forward to this collaboration of ours. And would you look at that logo of ours? Woohoo! It's quite awesome!

I wish you the best of luck with all of your future writing projects. You have shown your skills as a writer, and I'm proud to be one of the first people to see this talent, here at Dan's.
